Maidens Bridge

Been going to Maidens Bridge for close to 13 years now. Our family loves it there

I'd like to just sit there and watch The James River float by and listen to music. It's a nice, peaceful and beautiful area I've been going there for 42 years.

Nice & peaceful place when there aren't too many people there.

Maidens Bridge is a great exit point for a fun float float down the James River. We typically put in at the Powhatan State Park and float down or kayak. Very open parking area, they have a good boat ramp that you can put in as well. Few little walking trails. There are a few rope swings down the shore. Good place you can walk into the river, swim and splash around. There is some decent fishing under the bridge.

What a great experience. I have driven over this bridge for years and dident know until today I could give it a 5 star for supporting Powhatan and Goochland.

Good launch facilities, usually not crowded. Good stretch of river for paddling, fairly shallow here. Ample parking.

It was a good place to make our landing point. We were able to identify the spot in the dark because it is right next to the bridge.

Great place. There are these cool islands that you can boat out to and hang out on.

Beautiful spot here. The boat landing seems to be very shallow in this area.
