A Place To Be

I take our 11 year old grandson to Music Therapy every Weds. It's the highlight of his week. He is singing in the car coming and going. He has multiple disabilities including blindness and autism . Ashley and Tom and others have enriched the world in so many ways. Not just the clients but the families and those around them. Using their gifts to help . Thank you Tom and Kim and Ray and Ashley for your gift of talent and care.

It has been a privilege and an honor to work alongside Tom Sweitzer over the years as a private practice child psychologist in our community. A Place to Be is a very special place indeed, and Tom is truly a trailblazer and leader in the special needs field. What he has created for the special needs community with music and performance in Northern Virginia is invaluable; Tom has helped so many special needs children and teens and in such profound ways. Every once in a great while someone great comes along to do something great for those in need -- in Northern Virginia, when it comes to special needs children and teens, that someone great is Tom Sweitzer.
