Trini's Chinese Bites

This may sound strange but Trini Chinese food is completely different, and better tasting than Chinese fast food. The other complication is that it is pretty difficult to find an authentic Trini Chinese food business in South Florida. Trini's Chinese Bites could not have been any harder to find, but was well worth the exploration.
Since my MCL damage I have had to return to Total Orthopedic for my progress to be reviewed by the doctor. After a visit, I searched for food in the area and was excited to find this restaurant.
It is a takeout only establishment but the area is clean and there is a clear view of the kitchen, so you can see all the tasty delights getting prepared. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and able to answer any questions you might have about the menu. I love that smell of fresh, well seasoned food being prepared in front of you. The menu is full of local (Trinidad) favorites, like Char Sui Kai Fan and Pepper Chicken, and sides as well. The portions are huge, tasty, and mouthwatering. Everything was cooked to perfection and the wait time was very short. The fried rice had the taste and flavor of the Dragon (Wok Hey), a thing that sets Chinese food places apart from each other. I only wish there were a bit more vegetables in there.
As I will have many more trips to the doctor until I am fully healed, I will be back to Trini's Chinese Bites until I have tried everything on the menu. Hope to see you there.

The best Caribbean Chinese food. The food is always fresh and delicious. The prices are affordable. Definitely a must try!

Went there expecting traditional Chinese food but was surprised at the menu. Decided to just try something and see how it was. Wow this food was great!! Curry chicken and roast pork w/ chicken. This place gets down.. highly recommend!! Very reasonable prices, very friendly. We will be back

The best Trini Chinese food in Florida!!! Even better than some in Trinidad. Food is always hot and fresh. I usually call ahead and when I get there my food is ready. Great and friendly service.

Trini style Chinese food😱😋😋😋 wontons are shrimp, light and delicious, chicken reminds me of home, they have my favorite dish Chow Har Lok (shrimp in a garlic tomato sauce), the lo mein is also good, a little dry but still.....It's in Lauderhill and to-go only but worth the drive for sure....you'll just be sad you can sit there and eat it....maybe in the car😂

I found this cafe one day, while at an appointment. The food is really delicious and the food inexpensive. The couple are so nice. The food are freshly made and the vegetables are not over cooked. It reminds me of the Chinese cuisine in Trinidad. I highly recommend this cafe.

Food here is always good and the prices are affordable on any budget. We usually get the house special. They have a good portion size for the price. If you're feeling adventurous, the shrimp wontons are amazing. There is something on the menu for everyone. Call ahead to place your order, especially on Saturdays around dinner time.

Trini Bites is amazing - never been disappointed. Their chow mien, garlic chicken, and fried shrimp wanton are just great. family run, clean, and always friendly and the food is cooked to order.

This place is awesome the food is delicious, freshly cooked and phone orders are always ready to be picked up on time. We travel from Delay to this restaurant a lot since we discovered Trini's Chinese Bite. To some of you who says that Ms. Paula is mean and not a friendly individual, just a friendly reminder everyone is comfortable in their own skin, when we first met her we felt the same but we started talking to her and in fact she is a very friendly and welcoming individual. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family or anyone inquiring about good Trini food.... see you soon

I’ve driven past this gem many times. However, my favorite Chinese spot was shut down for violations leading me to find the most recent Local 10 News Clean Plate list and saved it on my phone. Shrimp wonton are perfection. House fried rice is awesome. Char sui pork is yummy. The mixed veggies are so good . As an island girl, I love that they’ve incorporated chayote into the stir fry, it holds flavor so well. Pork lo Meir is delicious. Curry shrimp-delectable . Sweet and sour chicken has great flavor; I like mine a little crispier. Maybe I just waited too long to eat lol. Don’t miss this Trini Chinese takeout. It’s a local treasure.

Love it. And the owners aren't so shabby either! The food has been good. The owners are good to their customers. A fan favorite with me and participants of the activity center is the Shrimp Wonton soup. So delicious!

I would suggest calling in your order in advance because they make the orders from scratch.

This is currently the truest and only GEM of Ft Lauderdale. The owners are in my book A+ chefs. All the Trini and Caribbean restaurants put together can't touch them or come any where close when it comes to taste, quality, customer service, cleanliness, and VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY. NOW MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN THE WHOLE OF FLORIDA. Please if you read this review DO NOT hesitate to try them out for yourself.

This is the only place that serves up the best of Trinidadian style Chinese food. Always fresh vegetables, great sauces, prepared when ordered. All of the wantons NEVER make it home, so I always order extra! Great food, awesome service and a good chat with my Trini folks is an awesome way to round out the week! Keep it up!!

I visit here whenever I'm in town. The food is prepared fresh on the spot so there's a little bit of a wait but we'll worth it

Ordered a half tray of fried rice & chinese style chicken. The food was great a-lot of my friends said the rice was nice and fluffy, and the chicken was really tasty. The veggies in the chow mein were nice and crispy. I would definitely order again. The women at the counter was very sweet & helpful. Thank you again.

I decided to try, since I was nearby and they came highly recommended. It was excellent. The chicken was delicious. It was crispy and not oversauced like some Chinese style chicken I have had from others. The chow mein was very good. The vegetables were fresh and also had a nice texture. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely love Trini Chinese Bites. Great tasting authentic Trinidadian Chinese food. Prices are great and the customer service treats you like family. For those looking, they have halal chicken and beef. Be aware that it is takeout only.
