This restaurant has amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean! It’s very romantic. They have live music on weekends. The atmosphere is great. The food is good and if you get there early enough, you can get some happy hour drinks.

Wow the view is amazing!! The steak and lobster are so worth it, it was soooooooo good!! We will definitely be back. Service was impeccable too. Worth the drive up from South Beach!

Great little Oceanside restaurant in the Sole hotel. The food was very good and fresh and you cannot beat eating with this view!

We had an amazing dinner here. Usually restaurants in hotels are just mediocre but this was surprisingly excellent. Food was well seasoned, service was right on point and the atmosphere was wonderful. We had the ceviche, roasted chicken, seafood paella, crembrule, and key lime pie. I've had hundreds of slices of key lime pie, even in the Keys and this was the best I've ever had. It was amazing. Prices were what you'd expect to pay. Be aware that they do include a gratuity of 18% on your bill. We will absolutely be back and we highly recommend it! Well done.

Baleen kitchen is a great location to dine, different dishes to choose from earth to sea food it’s to die for. It is a must have… try it out and let me know what you think. Service is great Daniel and the rest of the team are stellar. Music is just right it create a great ambiance to enjoy the rest of the night.

Amazingly amazing. Big thank you to our waiter Daniel and all the other staff. From the moment arrived we were treated like it was a extra-special occasion (and it was - a birthday but we never said). Food was superb- 5+ star quality from the appetizer (spicy tuna tacos), the Caesar salad, the Paella and Churrasco (Skirt Steak) and the KeyLime Pie (we love KeyLimePie so often select it - this was one of the best we’ve ever tasted).

They were so nice that because we sat out on the terrace we were offered a Shaw if chilly! As soon as we’re were seated we were offered a choice of still or sparkling water, which was served promptly. Our server Daniel was that perfect blend of attentive, informative but not hovering to the point of feeling rushed. When you go you might want to ask for him because he was as good as any waitstaff we’ve had in a fine dinning place in NewYork, Philadelphia, Washington, Paris ….. A true asset to the restaurant.

And the views. Breathtaking! Fortunately the menu was so good we had trouble deciding (at he special swordfish sounded so good but I love skirt steak so after debating I went with the steak) and know we will be back next time we are in the Miami Beach area. Highly highly recommend this place!

Andrea at the bar is amazing!! She’s so sweet and makes the best drinks. Eats every time highly recommend!

we did the little bartending class here with david, it was so much fun and super cool! we hung out after on the patio and the food was delicious. Our waiter was so kind to us and made the experience a 10/10. came back for breakfast the next morning and it was amazing!

Friday and Saturday Great ambiance, live music is very nice touch, food is delicious, fresh and tasty. Every time I come here to enjoy a nice dinner with my wife, it goes beyond my expectations. Service has been top notch everyone is great. Specially if you seat outside or step outside to enjoy the ocean view and just relax. Time goes by and you don't even know it.

I Dare you to come and try this menu. You will not be disappointed.

I personally had my best experiences with “Daniele Ippolito” . Extremely well mannered, very nice and extremely patient on top of everything. He dose his job amazingly and always made sure customers (including myself) are 100% satisfied.

Spent a week in Sunny Isles this was by far the beat food we had throughout the trip we went a total of 4 times and every single time the staff was great the drinks were good and the good was amazing. Orlando was our waiter twice and he was so sweet and helpful when explaining the menu and had great suggestions.

I Miami you will not find many restaurant with an Ocean View. Well, I was so happy when I found the BALEENkitchen. This Amazing location is right in the heart of sunny isles. The interior design is so comfy, everyone is friendly and the have a daily Happy Hour from 4pm to 6pm. I loved the Tuna Tacos - so delicious and their local beer is so tasty. Strongly recommend this place!

One of the best restaurants in Miami!
Exceptionally delicious food. Good selection of wines and cocktails. Unbelievable view from outside seating area and great design inside. And exceptionally trained and polite staff. You gonna feel so relaxing and very comfortable there. Also they have great list of music. Valet parking parking is free with your restaurant bill.

Did you know name of restaurant coming after Baleen whales?
These are the largest animals on the planet, and there are twelve different species of baleen whales. Some of the whales included in this group are blue, gray, and humpback whales. Baleen whales can be found in every ocean on the planet.
Baleen whales are mammals, which means that they are warm-blooded and breathe air using their lungs. That sounds interesting considering that they live in ocean waters, but they have two blowholes at the top of their body that allow them to breathe when they reach the surface of the water.

As mammals, they also give birth to a live animal, called a whale calf. Unlike humans, who can take around one year to learn how to walk, whale calves are born already able to swim.

Amazing happy hour drinks with Christina mixing drinks with fun dice game! Dinner was awesome too. Had yuca, surf and turf, and key lime pie. Key lime pie was my favorite in Miami. Go visit Christina for drinks and stay for dinner. You'll love the view and food.

Nice ambience with gourmet style food. Service style for calamari needs to be improved but otherwise it was good

food was delicious and service was excellent. the outside patio over looking the ocean was very nice.

I celebrated my birthday there, we were provided with the special area for celebration and no one disturbed us, but it was Monday, so there was not many people. The dishes are perfect, the ocean view, the overall atmosphere was perfect! Highly recommended!

I love this place! The outdoor seating is perfectly situated out on the shore and at night it is a very peaceful spot to have dinner by some warm tabletop lighting. All the food is very balanced flavor and texture wise and I have not eaten something I did not enjoy. The cocktails are also very delicious and beautiful and while the restaurant closes at 10, they will allow you to sit and enjoy your remaining wine until they shut down completely. I've had great evenings at this restaurant and am likely to return again very soon.
