1902 Stock Exchange

Tucked in the historic section of Adairsville is a building with its own historical charm coupled with unexpected events and shopping. Tea room is an experience of great food, selections of tea and atmosphere. The shopping area is beautifully displayed antique items, some furniture and unexpected items, plus a book selection. The shelves are organized that help ones browsing and wanting to spend time looking for that special book for a gift for a friend or self.. When able, the owner, Rita, has a second floor for a dinner theater. This is a very special place and we will soon be taking others to enjoy.

On July 23, 2021, my wife and sister had lunch at Maggie Mae's Tea Room in Adairsville, Georgia. while there, she visited the 1902 Antique Store next door, owned by the same proprietor. when she came home, she not only told me of a wonderful lunch, but brought home a small table for which she paid a wonderful price. However, she wanted to return the next day (with me) to see the bargain prices on the furniture.

To keep this short, we returned, had lunch, and returned home with over $1400 (including discounts) of furniture. We highly recommend Maggie Mae's Tea Room and the 1902 Antique Store in Historic Old Town of Adairsville, Georgia.

We have eaten there often and I been to a community breakfast in the room upstairs. The food is always excellent. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a change of pace. Love the decor and the service.

Wonderful finds

This was the third year that I invited friends to attend the Christmas Dinner Theater. Previously I was very happy. This year myself and six friends attended. It was terrible . I requested a table close to the stage as two of the ladies are hearing impaired. Our table was behind a post and in front of the kitchen door. One lady did not hear the first word even though she had a hearing aid. The other heard a few words but not enough to know what was going on. Before the play started I talked to the owner and explained the situation , she refused to do take action. The play itself was terrible, the three actors played the parts of several characters and read all of the play word for word from the script. The only saving grace of the evening was the food, it was fairly good. As I said this was my third year and my last. Very poor value for our $300.00.

We have tried visiting several times, but it's been closed. You can't rely on their posted hours on their website.

This is not an antique store. It's a resteraunt with a tiny tiny section containing a mix of antiques and home decore. Not happy I drove out that far and wasted my time.
