Don’t pass this s great little place up! Best burger in quite some time and you can still hear the waves!!! Service was exceptional, food tasty, amazing and fresh. The Hawaiian burger made my taste buds HAPPY. Great wine and beer list.

Hands down one of the best meals in a very long time. Melanie our waitress was phenomenal. I suggest the Hawaiian burger and the grouper as well as the pierogies. 5 star all around!

We were pleasantly surprised with Turtle Shack. My husband ordered the grouper sandwich and I had the mushroom swiss burger. Everything tasted great. The service was wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant.

10/10, we could've eaten here every night of our weekend getaway. The seared crab cake was the best we had both ever had, and my husband was blown away by the portion size of Ahi he got. We also enjoyed an order of their Avocado Egg Rolls and were in heaven. Such a great location right next to the water and great service too!

1 mile north of Old Flagler Pier. Go here if you want to be on the water, away from the crowds, and a small cozy place to eat. Great combination of tasty food, view of ocean, inside and outside tables, location, desserts, and personality. They have a long list (5-7 items) of desserts. Could say alot about each, but this review will be bit different. Meaning there my wife, son, and I were each taking turns tapping trying to crack through the top crust of a creme brulee...just enjoying the moment as a family. At that moment, our waitress Danielle passes by, looked our way, and had the most friendly and adorable giggle. Now that was a warm, friendly, personable moment. Way to go Danielle!!! You made our dining experience all the more special!

Great seafood joint with a view of the beach right across the street. Had the blackened grouper and jerk trigger fish along with the mahi tacos. Everything was fresh and prepared well. Beer was cold and the vibe was laid back. This is definitely not the average beach side cafe with a menu full of fried food. This is seriously good fish prepared with care. Looking forward to another meal when I'm in the area.

Food, service, and atmosphere really can't be beat. 4 out of 5 of us tried the grouper and crab bisque, based on another review, we all talked about it for two days. It was SO good!! Get it!
The calamari was also a welcomed twist. It was more calamari steak strips, and it was super tender and cooked perfectly!

Great food and staff! Very friendly server who gave us great suggestions. Loved the bisque soup. Just wish I got a bowl instead of a cup! The special squash sauce of the fish was great. Will definitely come back. Burgers were excellent also!

The Turtle Shack is across the the Ocean. Had enough outside seating to enjoy the view for a few people didn'tgo inside to see the seating there . I Recommend the Shack Stack Burger and Poppy seed pineapple slaw and the fries. As for service it was wonderful. I went to dinner around 4:30 and it was good service even as it got busy our server still was attentive as the restaurant got busy.

Excellent! Service from Matthew was top notch! Knows the menu and recommendations were great... Avacado egg rolls appetizer were very good, burgers are fantastic, onion rings are a must! Even the sweet tea was fresh brewed. Highly recommend. 2023 update: better than ever! Reasonable prices, best burger 🍔 in the area!

We’ve been coming here for more than a year now and this place is awesome!! They are always friendly and the food is always delicious! They have the best fish sandwiches and when the weather is nice sitting outside is like eating your yummy food out on the beach! Thank you and see you again soon.

We found this restaurant from a Google search and the food looked good and reasonably priced so we tried it. I wasn't expecting for it to be right across the street from the ocean and the only parking was along the road shoulders.

Our server (I think Mike was his name) was great and on top of everything. We started with the calamari and I had never seen it presented in strips. It was excellent. Perfectly fried and comes with a spicy mayo on the side. It was very good.

I ordered the fried sea scallops and they were HUGE. Again, nicely fried and very good. My wife had the seared tuna. Cooked to perfection.

We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back. The inside of the building is nothing to look at but get a table outside with the ocean and breeze it was perfect.

The only bad side I can report is that there is only 1 bathroom for the entire place. I hope they plan in updating that in the future.

Howver all problems pale in the perfection of their food.

Absolutely loved it!! Sat outdoors. Directly across the street from the beach...ocean view!!!!! Parking..not so great. Limited..Park on the road..
You may have to walk a bit. I was lucky and parked out front. My husband uses a walker..it was easy for him to navigate. Had coconut shrimp..DELICIOUS!!!

It has 4.6 stars for a reason!

Walked up on a busy Friday night, they mentioned it'd be a 20-30 minute wait but was seated in about 15 minutes.

Service was friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable.

Food is fresh, hearty, and delicious!

The service was excellent, we waited for nothing, very friendly. We both had a burger and fries, we are always on the look out for a better burger. These burgers are the best burgers either one of us have ever had, and the fries we rate right up there as well. We have a new favorite place to go enjoy a meal on the beach. Thank you Turtle Shack, dont change a thing. We will be back!!!!

Such a great meal ! The coconut shrimp and the sauce they came with were out of this world. 12 oz hand pressed burger patties were soooooo good. So glad we tried this place out after so many recommendations. Great service from Eugene and looks like all the staff we could see were working super hard to make sure everyone in the dining room were happy and doin okay! Thank you Turtle Shack !!!

Wonderful food and atmosphere here while visiting Flagler beach. We had the fresh mussels which were delicious and served w/fresh bread and dipping sauce. [yummy!] Then I enjoyed a Portabella mushroom sandwich on a croissant w/ grilled peppers and onions, that was huge! It was so very juicy, that it soaked my croissant til it was soggy on the bottom. It was delicious but I could only eat half.
My husband ordered a small mushroom Swiss burger that was cooked exactly as ordered, and was excellent. I can’t imagine what the large burger looks like, as his was very large.
We loved the outside view looking at the ocean as we dined, and watched the bikes go by during Biketoberfest.

I’ve been here three times since visiting the area and I have not been disappointed yet. The shrimp tacos are freaking amazing. Make sure you get the upgrade no matter what. We also had the grouper special tacos and they were amazeballs, and it’s just a cool little place to go. I’m going to miss this place when I leave.
