Java Joint Beachside Grill

After hearing a few mixed reviews, sometimes you just need to say screw it and give it a shot. Walked up to a very friendly staff member who greeted us quickly and were seated right away with both indoor and outdoor availability. We ate at about 1045am to 11ish. We had breakfast and it was at the table in under 15min. Amazing. Great start to the meal, hot drinks and food quick. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with home fries. As someone who enjoys a nice runny yoke it was cooked perfect for me. But if you like the whites of your eggs not to have any runny spots ask them to cook it just a bit longer. But again as someone who likes it that way, I was surprised as most places overcook them. The home fries could have been browned a bit longer for that nice crunchy outside but the flavor made up for it. Not often I clean a plate but should have grabbed a photo. Delicious. Thank you for a great meal and glad we didn't listen to the negative reviews.

The peppermint hot chocolate was the best I ever had. It was creamy, perfect temperature, with homemade whipped cream. Very sweet, but YUMMY. The eggs bene had a little spice but still good. (Not crazy about spice). I would definitely come back again and again!

The most delicious shrimp and grits i ever tasted. Quick prompt service, relaxed beach atmosphere with great beach views, very calming, as yet undiscovered because the other places right in town were overflowing with customers, this one half empty. They missed out big time!!

Great breakfast stop! I stopped by several mornings on my walk with the dogs and had great coffee and a tasty breakfast. They were even kind enough to provide a water bowl for the dogs.

Absolutely my favorite brunch restaurant with a down-home cozy beachy environment. Amazing views of Flagler Beach. Indoor/Outdoor seating. Family owned & family oriented, great place for children. The staff was incredible. The food, OMGOSH the FOODis melt in your mouth delicious!!! The prices of breakfasts and lunches blew my mind! You can order a breakfast or lunch already on the menu or you can order ala cart. My fiance and I ordered 1 chocolate chip pancake that was so fluffy and LOADED with chocolate chips, a side of grits that melted in your mouth, 1 side of ham (large pcs) that was tasty, 1 s8de of hashbrowns and a Sausage Bowl (Sausage, country potatoes, 2 eggs, & cheese) served with a side of country gravy (It was a lot of food and delicious, & 1 biscuit which is homemade and so delectable! We ordered coffee for our drinks and the coffee was a definite hit for us. The coffee tasted fresh, with no bitter notes or burnt tones. We drank 2 cups of coffee which we rarely get through a cup at other breakfast spots. My fiance and I sat inside facing the ocean which was so beautiful!!! It was not overcrowded and the seating outside was just as comfortable as the seating inside. The atmosphere was homey, comfortable, fun, and exciting. All the staff had smiles on their faces and were happy we were there. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves breakfast/brunch or lunch! The prices were so cheap we ordered 2 pancakes and 2 sides of hashbrowns to go for my sister and her fiance at home. Our bill came to $46 for 4 breakfasts! You cannot beat that price anywhere!

We ate breakfast here twice during our stay a bit north in Hammock Beach. The french toast, chocolate chip pancakes and java burrito were excellent and the service was fantastic. Super friendly and attentive staff and a great view of the ocean. Both times we sat outside, once on the side and the other in front on a very windy day which made eating a bit challenging but fun.

Amazing view of the beach. Spectacular staff, especially Lilly. And the food…BRO!!! Even if you don’t like grits you have to try these. Good gracious! The breakfast is delicious. This place is a regular for us every time we’re in the area.

Ps-the wait to sit outside is worth it. But the decorations and art for sale inside is enchanting as well.

We absolutely loved this breakfast place and hope to come back again! We were driving back to Ohio from Orlando and just happened to find it! Our server Summer was lovely and so on top of it!! Amazing coffee, great priced breakfast, they gave etch-a-sketches to our kids, the view is amazing.

Checked out the place before going, and the menu looked good. I've driven by the place several times and wrote it off. My foolishness there. Lilly freeted our party of 4 and kept close to us the duration of our dining event. The food was fabulous. I had the Java Wrap. Sussette was sure to stop by and make sure our experience was great. We were lucky enough to catch some time in the sun as it rose and we ate our breakfast.

They have super good shrimp and grits! Great drink selection including coffees, beers and Mimosas.

Rode our bikes here from the campground and was not disappointed! Crab Benedict was 10 ⭐ for sure as was the vibe and the aura from all of the servers! This is such a great little place across the street from the ocean, good food what more could u want? A Bloody Mary, no problems long with many Mimosa options as well. Definitely recommend this place 🌊🌈🎊☕💚

Was a bit of a wait because understaffed but well worth the wait!! Staff was excellent and food was delicious and hot. Classic Eggs Benedict were excellent. Would go back for breakfast tomorrow if we had time.

Mocha was good but not as sweet as I prefer, food was amazing! Eggs Benedict was fabulous, hollandaise sauce was a little spicy which was a nice change! Food was fast and hot! All the ladies were super nice and helpful! Would highly recommend!

This place has incredible food, to go with the incredible views. The biscuits are something special. I wasn't too impressed with my latte, but that's okay because the view and the food totally made up for it. Plenty of outdoor seating and some inside also, but really, sit outside for the view.

Holy heck the Blackened Shrimp n grits. If you are near here, get it 😍. The view from balcony to the water is great. The service was with with a smile and fantastic! I had a latte that was delicious too! 1000% recommend. We live about 2 hours away and will he here again soon!

There was a wait, but well worth it. All the staff was friendly, making sure you're being taken care of. Great menu and everything we ordered was terrific. If you're in the area it's a must visit!

Summer is a fantastic server. You’ll want her to be your new best friend. She cares about the people she serves and it shows! Tanya in the kitchen made my husband’s breakfast better than I can, and he is picky about his eggs!!!

It’s an absolute pleasure to come here at least once every trip to Flagler, and today was even better than before. We love the Java Joint!

Tried this place out during bike week since it’s very close to our RV park and right on the ocean! We both tried their benedicts which were delicious and hash browns cooked perfectly. Tried a pancake which was good too. Will be back again.

Super friendly service, reasonable prices, and a great mimosa! I ordered a low carb breakfast option with sausage, eggs, onions, and mushrooms (which I was happy to see on the menu) and it was delicious. Short staffed, but still amazing service and quick food to table! 👌🏾
