My interaction with Dr. Shapiro and his excellent team could not have been any better ! Dr. Shapiro performed arthroscopic knee surgery on me 15 years ago. I returned to my active sports life quickly and never had another issue with the knee after the surgery.

His excellent medical credentials speak for themselves but just as impressive is his "bedside manner ". He explained everything about the issue at hand and was totally responsive to any questions and concerns of mine. As impressive was his team all of whom I found to be kind, helpful and interested in my well being. Having been living in south Florida for 33 years I have found deficiencies in this area in numerous medical practices.
All of the staff from the front desk, PA's and assistants and the PT department bring this attitude to the workplace everyday and that says something special about Dr. Shapiro and the way he treats his team.

I recently returned to see Dr. Shapiro about a torn Achilles tendon and received the same outstanding care. I am close to a full recovery without surgery. I might add that Dr. Shapiro is extremely conservative in his approach to treating his patients and surgery is the last option.

I highly recommend Dr. Shapiro and on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest grade I give Dr. Shapiro a 20 !

Dr Shapiro did an amazing job repairing my torn rotator cuff. I had suffered a fall and had a total dislocation of my left shoulder.. iIt was a traumatic injury that Dr Shapiro was able to repair and do so in a manner that has relived a majority of pain, and allow me to use my arm normally. My range of motion is great and I should be 100% when the healing is done. Thank you to Dr Shapiro and all the staff at OSA!

After falling and hurting my shoulder, I saw Dr. Shapiro, who at the time told me it was a very massive injury. He explained in detail, in words a regular person can understand, how he will fix this and itemized step by step the care and rehab that would be absolutely necessary for me to do following the surgery. He is extremely thorough in his explanations, very personable and patient taking the time to answer any and all questions you may have, from my initial visit and throughout subsequent visits to him thereafter.

The office is extremely organized and efficient in coordinating everything from your surgery, to follow up appointments as well as scheduling home health care. I didn't have to worry or think about anything. Everything was taken care of for me by his office staff. This includes his PA, Gary. Gary was always a phone call away when questions I had came to me and put my mind at ease.

Heeding Dr. Shapiro's instructions following surgery, having home health care for the first few weeks and being conscientious about doing the exercises needed to be done to get my shoulder/arm back functioning, now 4 1/2 months later I am good as new!! Extremely thankful and grateful to Dr. Shapiro and his entire staff. I will not and do not hesitate to recommend Dr. Shapiro. He is a gem!!!!

Dr Shapiro and his entire staff are wonderful! I walked in not knowing what to expect. He diagnosed the problem and began to “repair” me on the spot! So impressed. I definitely recommend him to anyone, like me, with shoulder pain.

I came into Dr Shapiro in bad shape, due to an insurance issue I was eight months late to a much needed Rotator Cuff surgery. The shoulder was in shambles and the muscles retracted, his decades of experience paid off and the surgery was a complete success. Everyone told me how bad the rehab was going to be and all the pain. After the surgery I had minimal pain and 100% full mobility within four months. I will be able to play golf and toss the ball with the grandkids. Thank you so much

I have had a severely torn rotator cuff for over 20 years but I could not take 3 months out of my dental practice to have it repaired. Upon retirement, I saw Dr. Eric Shapiro for a consult. He was very honest and told me that the tear may be beyond repair. I had heard negative stories about rotator cuff surgeries and I was not looking forward to it. I had a successful repair and was amazed how little pain I had after surgery. At 13 weeks I have zero pain and total range of motion. I am beyond ecstatic!! In my opinion Dr Shapiro is an amazingly gifted, meticulous, and conscientious surgeon. He is also conservative. I have a significant tear in the other shoulder that he feels that we can just maintain by doing my PT exercises at home. A surgeon is only as good as his support staff and Gary Arnold, Dr. Shapiro’s PA is also wonderful, as well as the rest of the office staff. I strongly recommend Dr. Shapiro for anyone with any degree of rotator cuff issues.

To begin with Dr Shapiro's entire staff ,front desk, x-ray specialist's & medical assistants are all very fine professionals. Of course with a staff like that I thought "oh well", now for the let down after several bad Dr experiences. I am so very happy to say in just a moments time after meeting him, Dr Shapiro was my best medicine. He Immediately addressed my knee pain & recommended another Dr to address an unrelated issue. Thank you all. I was quite apprehensive in my quest to find a doctor &. staff that cares. I finally picked from the top shelf.

Dr Shapiro has been my physician for some years now. We lived in Boynton Beach so it was quite convenient. However, in the past year we have moved to Tequesta and tho it's an hours drive I will still continue to see him. He is.a caring, dedicated physician who most definitely is concerned about his patients welfare.

Dr Shapiro has been excellent in treating my fractured pelvis.
His bedside manner and knowledge are excellent.
