I've been going to Liz for a year now, and she is an amazingly talented hairstylist. She is detail-oriented, attentive, and incredibly authentic! I would recommend her to anyone, especially if you have short hair. I am thankful for her cutting my hair, she's the best! She also makes great coffee too!

I love aeffect! I see Victoria who is extremely knowledgeable and from my first haircut was able to cut and style my hair in a way that was both flattering and easy to manage. I saw her a second time to cut off all my hair (about 8-9 inches) into a choppy pixie that she achieved with razor cut. I was so nervous about cutting it off but she did such a fantastic job I almost teared up at the end because I love it so much. She also took the time to explain in detail exactly how to style it, and show me hands on. She is very good at what she does and I would recommend her to anyone. :-) I also appreciate the inclusive environment aeffect offers; it is always comfortable and judgement free! ❤

Don’t hesitate. Just book your appointment! I’ve been getting my hair done professionally for 25+ years and this is by far the best salon experience I’ve ever had. My hair has been almost every color imaginable and varied from a pixie cut to reaching my butt over the years. I’ve searched for years and finally found my unicorn hairstylist ~ Liz at Aeffect hair.
I’d been visiting another well known Orlando area salon and wasn’t happy with my look and my hair was extremely dry and damaged using their branded products. My sis gets her hair done by Celina and kept urging me to make an appointment at Aeffect and I’m glad I finally did.
I set up a consult and talked with Liz about my hair goals and we made a plan. We set aside 4 hours for my return appointment. Sitting in her chair, I knew I was in an artists hands and she worked her magic. I’m a person that is looking for direction when it comes to my hair and she provides that. She found the curls I didn’t know existed and cut and colored to enhance my look. I’m elated to have a hairstyle that is easy to maintain on my own. It’s awesome to have products that work and smell amazing.
I also appreciate the pricing at Aeffect Hair. They charge an hourly rate that is disclosed up front. There aren’t any surprise fees and no need to figure out a tip amount since it’s an hourly rate. I’d love if more of the service industry followed this model taking the guesswork out of tipping in general.
Bottom Line. If you’re looking for an inclusive, eco friendly salon with amazing artists then book your appointment at Aeffect hair!

Down-to-earth and comfortable LGBTQ+ friendly place. Victoria was a great stylist- she was helpful with discussing what I wanted and what would be best for my hair type. I feel much better about my hair after, and would definitely go back again.

Let me just say how amazing Liz did trimming and styling my hair the way I wanted just by explaining it, that’s a pro! She provided excellent product suggestions for the desired hairstyle I wanted. She was super nice to talk to as well! I’m excited to have found a wonderful experienced hairdresser!

This review is LONG overdue but I have been seeing Liz since 2019 and followed her from another salon because I absolutely love what she does. She takes her time and is extremely detailed to make sure my hair looks good going out the door but also that will grow out nicely. I’m not able to come as often as I’d like so I need my grow outs to have longevity, and liz always makes that happen 100% of the time. I’ve had a couple times of trying somewhere else for a quick cut and I always regret it because Liz really just knows my hair and what it does. We have done all kinds of stuff from a buzz to bobs to a mullet and back to pixies, and a plethora of colors. No matter what, every thing comes out perfect whether I tell her what I want or I just let her work her magic. The aesthetic and vibes of aeffect are also awesome and they know how to give every client a great experience! I love how small and quaint it is so that the stylists are not rushing through clients and being attentive to what you need. Definitely give aeffect a shot if you’re looking for a salon that will listen to you, not push products on you, and have you wanting to come back.

Celina is absolutely wonderful and an extremely talented hair artist! I have been going to her for cuts for about a year now and yesterday I had the pleasure of being in her chair again for a color and she did a fantastic job! Oh my gosh, Celine was an absolute blessing! I have been overwhelmingly frustrated with my hair - and quite frankly, I haven't been taking as good of care of it this year as I usually do. I was at my wits end with the obvious breakage and immense tangling I was dealing with. Celine sat me down and talked me through everything I needed to know to care for my hair properly - down to which brush to use, how to blow dry it, WHY I should blow dry it, how to wash and condition (we were all taught the wrong way, I promise you 😂) and which products would be the most beneficial for my hair type. She kept me entertained during our time together with friendly conversation, asking me about my life and telling me a bit about hers. Most salons cut your hair, vaguely tell you what to do for your hair type (if they tell you at all) and send you on your merry way, none the wiser. I am the most satisfied I've been after leaving a salon and will be supporting their shop by using their website to order hair care products. 💜

I came here following Alli (who is a literal wizard with hair they are SO incredible if you want short hair) when she moved, and the vibes of the salon alone are incredible! Again, Alli is such a great stylist, super nice and very talented so I highly recommend. Only thing to note is you might add an extra 5 minutes to your drive there for parking!

Celina has been my hair stylist since moving to Orlando from NYC 3 years ago and has helped my hair stay healthy while growing it out to donate. She is always super informative and answers all my weird questions about how hair works 🤣 The salon has an excellent atmosphere to it and all the other stylists are always friendly!

I saw Alli who was super awesome and shared a lot of really good tips. The salon itself is beautiful in a beautiful part of town. I recommend it to anyone

I cannot give this place a high enough review. Every service is perfect. I see Celina for my services but looking around at other clients every time I am here I would feel completely comfortable seeing any of the artists her for their services.

I love that the salon has created an open accepting environment where all are welcome. I also love their pricing model so not only do you as the customer know up front how much your service costs, but that the artists her know how to budget their lives. More salons needs to take this approach.

Celina has worked magic on helping me grow my hair out while keeping me, as I call it, “Elsa” blonde.

This salon is such a cute place!! I love the vibe in there. I went to see Alli who I’ve been getting my hair cut by for a while now and they’re seriously the best. I’ve never been able to get my hair texture right when styling my hair but Alli has shown me many different products and hair tricks to finally get it right. I’ve loved every hair cut Alli has given me I would recommend them to everyone. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair since I started seeing Alli.

The best hair salon experience I’ve ever had. Ali took such care with my new haircut and talked me through several ways of styling it and how best to care for my hair.
