General Store & Mercantile Cafe

My family and I have eaten here dozens of times. The food is always excellent - the menu and specials provide delicious options for everyone. It is our favorite restaurant in Adairsville. The staff and the atmosphere are exceptional, too! If you’re in the area, you should visit. You’ll be glad you did.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!
I always have a great laugh with the staff while I'm getting my daily coffee. Their coffee puts Starbucks to shame; there is no comparison. My only complaint is that they close so I can only get my coffee 5 days a week.

The food is absolutely amazing! Carol, Sebastian and family have the best soups, salads, and sandwiches in town! We come here to eat and always feel welcomed!

My picky toddler hasn't eaten much of anything in week and ate a whole half a sandwich here today! I feel like that's enough of a review for me haha. My food was also fantastic and the people working were so kind. I'll definitely be back for their spices and teas too! The selection was so impressive

A local business that needs to be supported...great gifts, herbs from Frontier Co-Op, and wonderful food. It has a welcoming atmosphere and checkers/chess on all of the tables. You will definitely want to keep returning. (Try the basil chicken salad or the French onion soup when they are specials.)

Exceptional service and delicious food! Clean and cozy atmosphere. I am always excited to support a local business! I highly recommend and will most definitely visit again!

This is a unique combination of eclectic, small store and great sandwich/soup shop. The store has fresh herbs in bulk, local honey, handmade soaps, organic teas, and other items from local or Georgian artisans.

The food side has a nicely varied menu with great tasty options. You’ll make noises of delight at the table as you bite into some of these creations. Soups are made from scratch as are baked goods. And specials are inventive. Add to that extremely friendly staff and owners, and you have a wonderful luncheon experience.

Such a cool place! Great food, flavored so well and even some goodies in the store you might want to take home.

Reuben was awesome and the service was great too. Small town feel with big city yummy food. Also sipped some wine and chatted with other locals. Fun place.

Superb café for lunch, dessert, coffee or just a snack!!! The owners are attentive, competent, and quite affable. It's a great place for some small town culinary hospitality and for a little shopping. They have excellent tea selections and great pottery, books, and art.

Great place in Downtown Adairsville. Live music too! The food is unique and delicious. They serve alcohol at dinner too.

I cant say enough good things about these folks. Friendly service, great unique gifts,wonderful homemade soaps and candles they have been a wonderful and much needed addition to adairsville also their cafe is great!!!

The Monte Cristo is different, but very good.
