Shaw Air Force Base

An exceptional air show for all to enjoy. There's a good amount of static and aerial displays throughout the day to keep you entertained. My family and I are definitely going to make this a yearly event to attend. So much fun! You can never get tired hearing the roaring sounds of freedom in the sky from those jets, it sends goosebumps up my spine everytime. God Bless The USA and all those who have served and those who continue to serve to protect our homeland.

Had an amazing time at an air show. The staff here was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

First off...I LOVE Shaw AFB, SC! I was stationed at Shaw, when I was AD back in the 80's-90's...and I loved the base and the area!! As a matter of fact, I loved it so much, in my earlier professional career, that I put in for Shaw as a DOD gov't employee!! Like I said...I love everything about this base!! I hope to finish my professional federal career right here at Shaw AFB, SC! Go Gamecocks!!

My daughter is stationed at Shaw, and I came to visit for 8 days. I have had no problems or issues. Everyone on base has been amazing to me. Helpful and polite. As far as Sumpter, I enjoy the town.

The Air Force Soldiers are very professional with their big guns and boots ohhhhh and little hats at the gate. All the little Air Force Soldiers are just so strong looking and awesome with there heavy duty military boots! Also they get to zip around in there fast planes doing loop de loops!

Great base. Small but amazing 👏

Have many good memories of this air base. Was stationed here in early 70's and would do it all again if possible.

For those of you complaining about Shaw try being stationed at Cannon Air Force Base for 6 years
