Quaint little dinner in Aurora. Great food with daily menu options. Check their facebook page for the daily menu. Loved the prime rib sandwich, collard greens and fried okra. May have been the best fried okra ever.

This place was such a pleasant surprise! My husband and I took a day trip to Aurora and this was the only restaurant that showed up. The staff was super friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the food was amazing and super reasonable. You gotta try the fried pickles! Will definitely be back.

The place is a local shop a bit run down but very clean. Service was fast food was great some of the best we've had here. Very friendly staff. Place was packed by the locals! Huge menu with great specials. Large portions. Very good fried chicken, hush puppys, and fried okra!

This is the best little place to eat! I decided to try them out with such great reviews. New to the Blounts Creek area and was looking somewhere close to get a good meal. I'm pretty sure this is going to be our go to place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. LOVED IT! ALSO they have the best hushpuppies

Was told about the place when visiting the Aurora Fossil Museum.
The food was good and a whole bunch of it.
It’s a good mom and pop restaurant with great prices. Local food is always the best. Our young waitress was very attentive also.
Don’t miss out if you’re through Aurora.

Not many options locally but this place offers a list of fresh veggies and seafood as well as a very nice selection of home made desserts. Very reasonable pricing and good sized portions make this the spot to eat in Aurora. My first review after dozens of meals. Great local spot.

Love this place. I love fried shrimp and their Jumbo Fried Shrimp is wonderful! It comes to the table hot, crispy and tastes of the sea. The 1/2 Fried Chicken is (usually) fantastic and a great deal. For just over $9, the white meat meal comes with 2 huge breasts, 2 wings and two sides. It’s cooked to order and comes out hot! The Prime Rib special for $14.95 on Saturday (after 4:00) is excellent. Just remember you have to call in your order in advance and the earlier the better as they only cook so many and run out fast. I’ve had the Philly Cheesesteak and would definitely order it again. They have lots of sides to choose from. I usually order a small tossed salad as a side for a small up-charge and it’s fresh and good sized. A 10 ounce soft drink or iced tea is only $1.20 and a 32 ounce drink is $1.90. Most restaurants are charging $3.50 to almost $5.00 or more for these. Descent hush puppies are usually brought to your table when you sit down or with your order. My biggest complaint is that they are only open for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday! And about the fried chicken; note that I order it often but on several occasions the crispy seasoned coating didn’t seem as flavorful as usual or was a bit overcooked. The meat was still good….

Once again another great meal. Had the fried flounder and popcorn shrimp combo and you get more than enough to take home for another meal. We go once or twice a month and have never had a bad experience-both dine in and take out.

The food & atmosphere are fantastic after the new owners took over. It was decent before but great now. Options out here are slim but it's always on point.

After bringing lunch to my hubby at the mine, my kids and I got hungry ourselves so we stopped in at Frank & Shirley’s to grab a bite. I’m so glad we did! The food was delicious, prices on point, and the servers were all super friendly. We will be in the area for a couple of weeks, so def. will be stopping back in a couple times before we head back to FL!

This place rocks! We're out in the middle of nowhere, visiting the Aurora Fossil Museum, and scrambling to find lunch. This is apparently the only restaurant in Aurora, but we were impressed. Food was fresh, unique and fast! The Hawaiian salad...wow! Nice work! I would recommend.
