I have been with Regions for over 20 years. First started with them when we moved to Florida. Never a problem, always helpful and very welcoming. Kept my account when I moved to NC four years ago. Today, I stopped in the Cornelius branch. Again, extremely helpful and welcoming. I'll never change to any other bank!

Very friendly staff. Very helpful and know how to do their jobs ! I liked how detailed they were also in creating an account here! Definitely would recommend to anyone starting a business!

READ and believe the reviews. When I wrote this review, they had 16 total, 7 of them were the lowest rating possible of 1 star. Odd there were no mid-range reviews, and the remainder of the ones are 5 stars ... NOTE ... majority of the 5 stars ... it was their one and only review which makes me question if they're simply fake.
The attrition rate for this location also support it is poorly managed. I made contact with the bank because of a credit card bonus being offering to open an account. Then they enticed me to open a checking account. I have experienced nothing but horrible customer service since ... unanswered emails, unreturned phone calls, broken promises or failed to honor bonus offers, the list can go on and on. When you call, be prepare to reexplain your problem to a new person in detail, only to be told at the end they will need time and either forward it or have someone else call you back on the matter. I've been working with them for 5 months to resolve an issue. Today the assistant manager assured me she was in the position to assist ... well guess what, she wasn't ... the call ended "The branch manager will call you later.", which is who I asked to speak with in the first place. Additionally, I learned later he was in the office listening to the entire conversion. Please do not fall for any of their "BONUS" offers to open any account, it's just a way to get your money and they DO AND WILL CHARGE you if you close if your account early which is less than 180 days. I'm certain NO BANK would give you a grace period of 180 days to resolve an issue if they were due the money, so I'm unsure why they feel entitled to such a long time period. They are not paying YOU interest for a mistake they have made in their favor. My advice ... STAY AWAY AND FIND ANOTHER BANK FOR YOUR NEEDS. Additionally, their banking app is antiquated, outdated and difficult to maneuver, so it's not user friendly ... just like the bank branch itself. I will be closing my accounts once my 180-day period has pasted.
I have attached the offer they have refused to honor. I meet all of their terms and conditions.
MY ADVICE AVOID DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK.

This bank doesn’t even deserve a 1 star let me just first off by saying I’ve never experienced such a horrible service in my life!!!!! First off the Gay guy working at the front is just horrible and I say gay because I don’t his name but he was just completely rude and so distasteful when working in such a professional environment. 2nd Allison had the audacity to call me up and be so rude and mean. She told me every appointment I scheduled would be cancelled. The place is disgusting and you need to hire more professional workers. I honestly open that that bank closes you don’t treat people like that

The absolute worst bank in history, nothing but problems since I opened the account. How I have a hold on and IRS TAX check. I do not understand. I drove thru the teller and she did not even tell me the check would be on hold. This is probably the easiest check to verify. It is the IRS for god sake. I am leaving the continent 3 days after they are making my funds available. I can't even finish properly preparing for my trip and now and I have no idea what to do. I was told on the chat app that my funds would be available by 2 different bankers at 6am the next day. And hour later the check is on hold. I drove and hour to deposit this check. I had to cancel an important appointment today. I plan on making other Official complaints today with OIG, FDIC, FTC, FCC (and anyone else) certainly due to the information that was told to me.

More difficult to conduct business than any other bank I have used. I have to make a 3 hour round trip to be in person for a 5 second update to my account. Only so I can go through a sales pitch for products and services. If you can’t take care of my current needs I’m not going to put additional money into your bank.

UPDATE: Just when I think it doesn't get any worse....they have $1400 of my money, and claim they have no record of my account. Then, they said "While we have you, do you have a minute to discuss your future borrowing goals?".
SERIOUSLY?!?!??!?!!?!?!?! Filing a complaint.
This branch treats all young folks as criminals. I am a 30 year old entrepreneur. I HAD all my business and personal accounts at Regions. I was moving around $50k PER MONTH through my accounts. I was a very good customer.
Regions constantly made me show ID to make a deposit, question my ID, and then they would get a manager, to question my ID. Like I'm a criminal. They would then try to hold my checks for WEEKS. One buffoon employee tried to tell me it was Regions policy to HOLD MY CASH DEPOSIT.
Don't bank here. Do not trust these folks with your money.

This is a terrible bank! They refused to give me the new account bonus that I was told that I was eligible for. The people who work here are untrained and disorganized. I lost $450(which I was promised) and received nothing but apologies.
