Sedgefield Animal Hospital

First visit was today and they treated my baby so good. They got him to lay down so Dr Talbott could exam him with out him going crazy. I love how they take the time to calm your baby before examining them. Thank you so much. We have a new vet!!!

The doctors and staff at Sedgefield are amazing! They take the time to get to know your pet and ask lots of pertinent questions to get to the root of the problem. The prices are comparable, if not better, than other vets in the area. The staff follows up after visits and allows you to ask more questions (the ones you always forget to ask) as they arise. Dr. Brooke has been our doc through several fur babies. She is knowledgeable and caring. We trust her implicitly. She helped us navigate specialists when we were faced with a dog with cancer. The clinic is professional and efficient. We saw Dr. Triani at our last visit when we had an urgent need. She was wonderful also. Highly recommend this practice, and have referred many friends there.

Sedgefield Animal Hospital has been the best at treating my cats and dogs over the years. The Veterinarians, Vet Techs, and staff, are at the top of their field and compassionate. The Vets are very gentle and thorough with their examinations, treatments and surgery for your pet.

Vets are expensive, but this one delivers top-notch care. Both of my dogs routinely visit. When my 14 year old had an incurable situation I couldn't believe how compassionate the entire staff was. My sweet old dog had a lovely transition to the Rainbow Bridge, and I'm very thankful for the measures the doctor and staff took to make sure she was comfortable. Not only are they great at what they do, they're personable and friendly. They even have their own pets :)

I always have a wonderful experience here, so do my dogs. The staff remember us, and that makes me like my dogs and I are important to them.

I've been going to this place since my first pet when I was a kid, and I wouldn't dream of taking my pet somewhere else. They are an amazing private vet that all together has an outstanding love for animals. It has to be a wonderful place to work as well because usually when new staff comes in they don't leave so you see the same people for years. They also offer quite a few services so they're able to provide whatever care your pet needs without having to do a referral.

I have been a pet owner for 40 years and have gone to various vets throughout my life. My long time vet recently retired and so I chose to go to another vet that was close to my home in the Adams farm area of Greensboro. After going there a few years I must say I have been very displeased with their service and most especially their cost. I have a 14 year old Dachshund that recently became unable to walk I brought him to the vet here and had a wonderful experience with the doctor and the staff and I'm happy to say that he can stand now on his back legs and we are doing a little therapy to get him to walk. I would highly recommend bringing any animal to this facility for knowledgeable caring treatment with realistic pricing.

I am so grateful to this practice! Dr. Brooke has put in endless hours helping me with my bulldog that has lots of issues and has had 2 surgeries. They help me with navigating insurance filing and using Care Credit also. Highly recommended!

Really great experience here. Due to the pandemic and a difficult pregnancy, I had let my dogs vaccinations etc lapse. I was really embarrassed to take him in, but Dr. Brooke was totally understanding and not judgemental. She was extremely knowledgeable and spent a lot of time with me answering questions and making good suggestions. Highly recommended

I'd been living part time in Greensboro to finish college for a couple of years. My final year I moved down full time and brought my elderly heart dog with me. He'd been in kidney failure for quite some time at that point.
We only went to Sedgefield twice. The first time was to just do his yearly checkup and a couple of months later, to say goodbye.
I wasn't a long term client and it had been a battle for months to keep my boy well. When the time came, it was in early June of 2020 (the height of the COVID shutdown) and I knew at that point that it wouldn't be fair to make him sit in the car for 2 hours to drive back to our home in Charlotte. I called Sedgefield that day thinking that I'd more than likely be told I'd have to take him to an emergency vet after hours and not be able to stay with him, but Sedgefield was so compassionate.
I can't remember their names specifically, but the vet we'd seen for his checkup earlier that year said that she and a tech would stay after and meet me there.
Their back yard area is beautiful, green grass and a nice big tree for shade. My Pootie dog and I used to love lying in the yard together at home in the shade.
They brought out a blanket and when I carried him to it they were both crying as well. It was the perfect day. I don't think we could've had a better experience anywhere else.
It has been two years now since that day, and I'll never forget how well it went considering. These folks actually care, and coming from someone who worked for 15 years in the pet industry, that should mean a lot.

I’m going to start by saying I received some pretty terrible news about my 10 yr old pup. I took him to my normal vet twice about the same issue. Now I know as everyone else does when somethings not right about your baby. (Pup) but still my baby boy. He had a eye issue and it didn’t look right. First, I was given a steroid and told he wasn’t in pain. Too
be fair, it did seem to help some. But after awhile it started looking bad once again. I took him back. They checked him out and said his eye did look worse but nothing much to worry about. Well fast forward 3 months. He wasn’t eating or drinking and laying around. His eye looked awful and it definitely started to not look right. I decided to take him here. They were just excellent. I took him first to the Winston Salem location. They took him, checked him out and brought him out. I had my credit card in hand and they said we want to send you to our ophthalmologist specialist in Greensboro. They didn’t take a payment from me. I don’t know why, but at that moment I was grateful. I drove my pup to Greensboro and they took him back quickly and came back out to explain his treatment. She came out and explained 2 different options for treatment. Both a serious surgery. She was friendly and kind and at a time like that much appreciated. The options seemed reasonable. Most of all, I loved that they actually did their job and found our what was
Going on with my boy. We’re scheduled for surgery, but I have no doubt he is in good hands and that takes a lot of stress off of all
us. So give them a try. It’s a bit more expensive obviously than a typical vet, but you are getting specialist that will get to the bottom of things.

I meant the staff for the first time today and everyone was so nice and very professional and did everything they could at the time of service to help my little furbaby feel better and that we're great because she was back up and running and being herself again and I so happy .... I meant the vet but I don't remember her name and I believe she graduated from Wake Forest University so I know she's up to date on the newest medical technology to deal with our furbabies ... I would definitely recommend Sedgefield Veterinary for your veterinarian needs

Dr. Brooks did a very thorough exam of my little dog. She's friendly yet professional. The staff is also very nice and the hospital is so clean. I'm very comfortable with leaving my dog in their care. The only drawback I have is how much it costs to take your pet to a vet. Yikes!!

Amazing staff who sincerely care about their patients. Sedgefield always took great care of my dog, and when he developed cancer they really went above and beyond for him and my family. They did everything they could for him in terms of treatment, and when it was time to let him go they made the experience as peaceful and compassionate as it possibly could have been. They even went to bat against our pet insurance company afterwards to make sure the claims were handled appropriately. Sedgefield staff had no obligation to do that, but they did anyway, because they care. I will always be grateful for everything they did for us.

Went there with the dog that they knew very well all the staff was wonderful the vet was absolutely wonderful would recommend this Veterinary Center to anyone with an animal

I have taken my crew to Sedgefield Animal Hospital and Dental Center since I got my first cat over 10 years ago. My dogs love to go here and are always eager to get in the door. I have also taken my foster dogs here as well because I know they will get the best care. I would not even think to go somewhere else. They are a great staff!!

Fantastic customer service, the BEST care. They not only remember you but your pet by name. The best experience I have ever had. We will not be going anywhere else. Even though this is a bit far from my house, the staff, doctors and facilities are one of a kind awesome. Love this place.

Two times over the past few weeks they have gone out of their way to help us with animal issues when our regular vet could hit or would not work us in. Needless to say we have found our new veterinarians to take care of our many animals.
