Hampton Inn & Suites Dobson

We stayed here for 1 night on our drive back to Canada. It is in a quite place but safe. The person who greeted us was very friendly. We asked for a rollaway and it was delivered even before we got to the room. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good too.

While driving from NJ to GA my husband and I chose this hotel to stay at overnight with our two children aged two and five. The hotel was recently renovated and it was a very pleasant stay. Staff were very sweet and accommodating. They brought a crib up to the room for my son. We utilized the pool for an hour to let the kids release some energy. There is a restaurant a few steps away. Typical American food but did the job for dinner. Free breakfast was good. Hot eggs, sausage, waffles. Oatmeal, cereal, muffins, bagels, fresh fruit.
There’s a little fire pit in the back to enjoy at night with a TV. Would’ve loved to use, but with two kiddos that’s tough!
As we left, they offered a Thank you water bottle and brown bag of snacks to take on your trip to your next destination. Would recommend to stay here! Everything was perfect!

One of the better Hampton's we've stayed at. Recently refreshed the room was clean and many updates. Lobby and staff were excellent. Breakfast was by far the best I've had from a Hampton in recent stays. Clean and plenty of choices. Location is great right off of 77. Food and gas are all within walking distance.

We stay at this hotel every time we drive south. We love this hotel, it is always so clean, quiet, and the staff are outstanding. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and well kept. They serve a really good breakfast and even having a tasting room due to their vicinity to Shelton vineyards. Do yourself a favor and stay here. We wont go anywhere else.

Top notch. You won't regret staying here. I'm always skeptical of hotels (cleanness, possibility of bugs) but this hotel made me feel at ease upon entry. The lady at the front desk was so friendly, genuinely kind and made sure our room met our standards & answered any questions we had. The room was exceptionally clean, no evidence of bugs either. We will be returning in the near future. There is a Dairy Queen right next to it.

This is the best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. Everything about it is excellent. Having a wine bar is a great bonus. The staff is excellent, the renovations are perfect, well appointed rooms, great breakfast!

Great hotel! Staff are very helpful and friendly! Easy to check in and out. They have a nice breakfast! Easy to get tofrom I-77. Very close to Shelton Vineyards. They even have a shuttle to take you to Shelton Vineyards and back to the hotel!

Please do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel if you are stopping in the area! It is clean and fresh with upgraded rooms. Our experience was unmatched and I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Wonderful hotel, great service, spacious and clean guest suite. Breakfast was 9/10, room 9/10. My only complaint would be that the water pressure in the room was quite low. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area again.

Very nice hotel. Under renovations so altho they still offered breakfast, there were no hot items except coffee & tea. Pet friendly. Beautiful room. King suite. Staff was super friendly & helpful. In wine country so they also sell bottles of wine. Dairy Queen & Coach Restaurant within walking distance. Wine tours very nearby. Quiet location. Enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely come back.

This experience has been beyond what was expected. We booked it on the whim and plan to return in the near future. We did have a slight mix up since the website hasn't been updated since the renovation, but the staff was kind, patient, and helpful. We highly recommend anyone passing through to check out this hotel and their amenities.

Spent the night driving to Georgia. Rooms were clean, new, roomie, and a decent price. Good breakfast and friendly staff. I will stay here again!

Picture this. You work in the 100 degree heat all day, you are traveling from DC TO Atlanta. Your 5 days and 70 hours into your work week; 14 hours into your day and your ready to crash. You quick book a room in some random town along your route. You pull in, sigh and ready to crash. You go to check in; Unbeknownst to you; you've booked the room for the wrong date, non refundable non transferable. But wait! There is hope. You speak to the lovely women Michelle working the counter. The hotel is booked up, only 1 room available and it's a "lux" room. Frantic you wonder what it's going to cost you. Well let me tell you, Michelle with her partner Monica are here to help. Not only did they get you a full refund with no fees they were able to secure the room for only $20 more.

That's my story from today. My exhausting escapade has come to an end. Writing the best review I can while relaxing in a beautiful soaking tub in a suit fit for the best c suite executive.

To bring this long drawn out story to a end I've got to give it to Michelle and Monica. Handling my mistake, all the demands of the current guests and not missing a beat; at one point Michelle was on two phones while monica handled a line of guests and even with everything going on everyone felt they were the only guest staying tonight. The hotel is lovely, freshly renovated, all the amenities you could ask for and a staff willing to go above and beyond.

I plan to return for a get away weekend with my wife and explore the local winery, beautiful nature nearby and best of all accommodations fit for a king.

Best Hampton Inn I've ever been to. Shelton winery is located inside. Restaurant nearby. Nice breakfast seating. Clean.

*Diamond Member Review* This place is outstanding. The staff is professional, the cleaning staff are doing a great job, and the other parts of the hotel have been maintained well! Breakfast was great for an amenity that is free to your guests. 5 stars for me! The only items i would mention are the wallpaper issues, some tiles being loose or broken in the public areas, an excess of notifications on the walls regarding fire safety, and the price tag of the room is about $60 higher due to being closer to the vineyards and having a wine bar. Not sure it's worth that, but it is certainly worth the peace and mind of knowing it is a clean facility! Great job and don't stop doing what you are doing!

My wife and I stay here every time we head south. We love this hotel. It is the cleanest and nicest we have stayed at on the road. Breakfast is great, rooms are great, staff is the best . Stayed in May, will be back in September. Marty at the front desk was very helpful when we had a problem and had to change our reservation. Love going to Coaches across the street and hanging out at a table outside the hotel

On January 8, 2024 my family and I got separated on our flights to Richmond Va. I ended up in Raleigh N.C., rent a car and drive to Virginia. Final destination Pearisburg, Va. Dive got long, needed some sleep and to charge the rental. Stopped by the Hampton Inn, Dobson, N.C., were I was immediately greeted by Edwin and Ms. Leticia (thank you again for the late night snacks) who are worth more ⭐ 🌠 💫 stars than this thing has! I'm in customer service as well, and I does my thing!!! They were Frickin' Great and there in a time of need!!! THANK YOU, VERY MUCH!!! Hampton Do Not let these individuals get away!!!!

Have been to this particular Hampton twice and have no complaints. Staff has been friendly & courteous. Everything was clean. My granddaughter loved spending time in the pool. Saw that others complained about not enough choices as far as food goes. We loved that about it, because you’re not right in the middle of “everything “. Only about a ten minute drive to restaurants. The Coach’s restaurant next door was great & close by which worked for us. Love that this Hampton is pet friendly! Keep up the great work!!
