R Martinez Elementary School

I first stepped foot in this school when my son was 3yrs old looking for help with speech therapy. (Schools that children are zoned to are required to help with those issues.) The principal was a woman I don't remember her name she was not interested in helping us. So after filling out all the paper work we were never helped. I HATED THIS SCHOOL. By the following year that principal was replaced with Mr. Steuernagel. Before I registered my son my husband and I ask to speak to him about issues my son has. Mr. Steuernagel took the time to talk to us. Since then Mr. Steuernagel has been helpful and takes our concerns serious. I believe he is very passionate about his job. I have to say my opinion about Raul Martinez Elementary has changed for the better. I LIKE THE SCHOOL NOW. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MARTINEZ ELEMENTARY. P.s. one of the ladies at the front desk isn't the sharpest if u know what I mean but she's nice and has the best intentions.

There's this horrible teacher in the fourth grade named Mrs Gonzalez she runnoend my dreams she deserved to be fired

went to this school around the 90's the principal is a joke all she cares about is. this school being Number one etc she dose not care for the students. i had a 3rd grade teacher name Mrs Roberts all i can say she use to mental abuse me in her class i always cried. when i came home. she even took me to the principal office once because i didn't do her homework because i never gotten help from her all she cared about was the smartass students she had in her class room. if shes still a teacher shes a joke and i think shes racist against Hispanic people.

Wish I could of given a rating of zero stars!! Horrible Horrible school!!!!!! The principal is a joke and shouldn't be employed. She will not talk to you directly. Always has to have a someone relate a message to you even though she is standing right in front of you. Also most teachers are just there to collect a paycheck!! I've heard them curse and use inappropriate language with students.

Where can I start in this horrible school I grew up in I went there from pre-k to 5th grade the staff the teachers and principal were racist they only like you if you kiss their asses they will speak to your child like your child's retarded send them to another school there school is very racist treat your child very wrong if you read this please do not send your child there they going to have a very bad time I like to say I survive this nightmare I can never forget what happened there

I grew up in that neighborhood and went there the first year it opened. I went from pre-k to 5th grade and these were the worst years of my life. I am 27 now and still remember.

Well this is my new (2015 summer ) school I'm going to I hope it's as good as eliot elementary school it's a good school too the principal is nice

I don't like that school a lot of people that I know got out of that school and switched to Mary.E.Scroggins Elementary.
