Lowes Foods of Jamestown

Today was my first time shopping at Lowes food. As soon as I came in and shopped the produce section, the employee stocking the produce named Tim immediately greeted me and helped me with everything I needed today. Great guy and great first time experience! I also love that they have little shopping carts for the kids to shop too! Will be coming back.

Love this place , especially for the wine and beer selection. Don't forget your digital coupons. They will save you a lot of money. Also, I always had a great opinion of all employees. Every employee I have encountered has been so helpful and pleasant.

Of all places to find lovely Tombstone Flower Saddles.... To my surprise Lowes has pre-arranged artifical flower saddles just waiting to be purchased. I purchased a blue & white flower saddle for $44.99. They come in 2 sizes: small & large. Unexpected wonderful find!

I love this store. Today I went in and they were making cheese balls with cranberries. The lady was very nice and answered all my questions. My original reason was for their chicken and sides. Their food is delicious if you like soul food.

Service is always good at Lowe's Food, and this was my first time coming to this location. I will be back

This is a WONDERFUL grocery store. They’re mainly in the Carolinas and it’s so refreshing to get so much local and regional foods in one place. Love the customer service - the staff was so helpful. And they have a bar that you can taste test draft beers and they change them out nearly every day. I wish I lived in the Carolinas just so I could come here and shop.

Did I mention the bbq deli? Like legit they have an entire section devoted to smoked and braised meats.

The bartender was also the best. Super engaged with customers and really knew her product. Five out of five stars!

Excellent customer service! Received greetings at entrance. Mike in the Hot food section was great! He made shopping enjoyable! Store is always clean and well stocked!

Lowes stores must have the BEST fried chicken of any grocery store . . . and better than some chicken restaurants! Their hot deli is also very good!

Great store! The environment is very homey and easy to find everything needed. The self checkout makes it even easier to be in and out

This place is like the Disneyland of food stores. The place is clean and well organized. The staff is very friendly. The sausage department is amazing. Each department has a theme and cute display. Some are even interactive! You can even but beer and wine by the glass to sip while you shop! The carts all have cup holders!

My wife and I are in town visiting from Florida and decided to simply go grocery shopping and went to Lowes in Jamestown...and holy cow what an experience!!!! Besides the different sections of the market..Beer Den, Sausage Works, Cakery etc...the management and staff exemplified quality customer service. They were so incredibly hospitable to us because we were in disbelief how nice everyone is, the quality of product available and how clean the store is. Thanks to the great team of people..Don, Carly, Brandon, and all the other workers, we ended up talking to..this grocery store experience was absolutely the best. We were educated on the variety of beers at the Beer Den by Carly which she was so extremely knowledgeable about her craft. Then Brandon, the chef at Sausage Works was great at his recommendations of the sausages and again incredibly friendly. And to top off our grocery experience was talking with Don..the manager. This guy could make u laugh if u were in the worst mood!! He had us sample chicken wings, cookies from the Cakery, and sausages....but thats not it!!! He introduced us to the 'Chicken Dance'! He and his team got together and did a dance in the middle of the store!! We absolutely enjoyed ouselves there and ended up staying longer than expected. This is not your ordinary shopping market. This is a THEME PARK!! But we love how every person working enjoyed what they do and it sure did show!!! Its a shame that Florida doesnt have anything like this!! Congrats to Lowes for hiring such great employees. The quality of product is exemplary, customer service is off the charts. Whoever reads this review and u are in the area..u must stop and experience the incredible team of people here. Thank you Don, Carly and Brandon...we will always remember this experience and will be back next time we are in N.C!!!!

I love the quality of the meats at Lowes, pricy but great quality and very rarely out of sale items

The prices were surprisingly lower than I expected, and the customer service was great! They have some tables and chairs in the wine and beer section and offer a schedule as you walk in of events and tastings. It's a lovely place to have a drink and sample the fairly priced wine selection!

I love this place. They have a great selection. If you drink, you'll really like it. Their deli/meat/seafood area is top notch, too 🤌

I typically buy my groceries in Harris Teeter and Walmart, and go to Lowes to buy more specialized items. I will be shopping there more often from now on. HT and Walmart should learn a thing or two. Thank you Lowes. You made our day.

Love this store. Great location, and they have great prices. They have a great deli, and I love to get hot food when I don't feel like cooking.

If you read my review prior today, you know that I had a situation at this Lowes, that I was very displeased with, but I would like to edit my review and thank Lowe’s Food in Jamestown for going above and beyond to make sure that this situation was rectified. As I previously stated I really love this Lowes it’s a beautiful location very homely and I appreciate the quality of the food and service mostly I’ve always before that situation felt welcome. BUT I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to the managers and Owners of Lowes for being customer focused and really making sure their customers are taken care of! You have definitely won my heart again! ♥

Mainly, I love the Deli. Great fried chicken and sides. We talked to Cheryl for a bit. She makes good deli sandwiches to take on hikes. They also have made fresh little pizzas. Shopping prices are high but have a robust selection of goods.

The building is clean and has a great atmosphere! I love the stalls for the bakery, deli, etc. The pick-and-prep saves me so much time and really helps me cut down on food waste on certain produce!

The deli has great options for quick meals for lunch or dinner and the beer den makes it a worthwhile experience with a professional within reach.

We always take advantage of the sushi Wednesday deal and the sushi chefs make great rolls! Always quick to make a request and very consistent on quality.

I have had great experiences with Lowe's foods to-go as well! Connie and her team made sure my order was perfect and strived to make sure I was happy which is so helpful on busy days or days where I can't make it to the store. It is an experience that has beat all my other pick-up experiences in the area!

Thank you to the Lowe's foods team as a whole for always being friendly and helpful! Throughout the pandemic, service never once suffered in my experience.
