This winery is great. I’ve been here a couple times and I’ve always had a blast. We stopped by with a few friends to do some wine tasting and everyone loved it. The wine is delicious and they have a great selection. I’d highly recommend this place anytime.

Had our tasting with one of the owners. Great stories about the name of the winery and one wine name. Greatly appreciated the time he took to talk with two folks from out of town. Hope he gets to head up to our area of the country to check out two places we told him about. Great space for the tasting and really good wines.

This is a wonderful 100% estate winery. We enjoyed an excellent tasting and left with 6 bottles. We really enjoyed the ambiance and our server had great knowledge of the wines. It was an easy drive for us off of I77, even towing 35 foot travel trailer. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere and great Wine. Meet the owners and they were great! Great Staff as well. Big Walt made sure we had a good time!!! There was live music today in the back ground and it was great as well. We had not planned to visit this winery today. But, at the last minute decided to go. We are so glad we decided to go now!!! A real gem; wonderful people and wine. Full assortment of wines, and great choices for tasting. Also have some local beers and cheese. We got a personalized tour of the facility from the owner, and enjoyed learning about the wine-making process, and the history of this establishment (like how it was named)!

Wine was tasty! Server was great! My photo just doesnt do it justice. Old dairy now half barrel house, half tasting room. Little nooks for gathering or spacious bar for tasting. And by the way, great horseradish cheese and crackers ( have to chuckle... thought it would be a couple slices of cheese w a few crackers... I excellently got the whole "Block and Sleeve". Cheers

Had a great, relaxing stop at Rag Apple Lassie yesterday. As usual, the decor, service and wine were great! These are great people with a great winery. We always stop by every time we go to the Yadkin wine country. A must see stop on the tour.

We discovered this vineyard through Harvest Hosts. We were looking for a place to rv camp on our November trip south and this gem turned out to be perfect. The wine and beer tasting warmed up a gloomy weather day. Hope to find a reason to visit again when the sun shines...

Nice tasting room where you can often meet the head wine maker Steven Mchone. One of the unique features of this wine is is fermented in wooden barrels before being moved to the stainless steel tanks. You can see the barrels in the back of the onsite tasting room. I was told the Chardonnay for $18.00 was award winning but to me it just tasted great with rich and complex flavors. You enter the building upstairs and walk past the large stainless steel containers then walk downstairs to enter the place to buy the wine or sample it. They have a wheel chair separate entrance and the sign to get to it is clearly posted in the parking lot. Steven was there and said at this time the Zinfandel, a dry red, was very popular and unique to North Carolina. I learned the Steven was the second wine maker there and had apprenticed with the first wine maker that had retired. He also said he had competed the full wine education program at the local community collage. He told me that the owners we big supporters of that program. The the vineyards were about one city block away and you could see the rows and rows of grapes well supported to hold the vines up.

Wonderful assortment of wines and friendly helpful staff. Also, the wafting aroma of nearby cows gives the winery real authenticity. It's great!
