High Hill High School was an all African-American high school that taught students during the era of American segregation. This memorial marks the spot where the school once stood. Two benches sit around a flagpole and a commemorative plaque for visitors to sit and reflect on the path that our country has taken since this period. There is a driveway that leads to a grassy area where people can park their vehicle to enjoy this area. North Kings Highway is a busy road and caution should be used when visiting this monument.
