Yucatan Restaurant

Some of our church youth and adults come here every Wednesday night after church. They graciously serve our big group even though it's close to closing time.

Food is always great, easy going atmosphere. Fun to celebrate a birthday here =) Very kid friendly. TVs to watch whatever if you want.

Parking lot has plenty of space, is wheelchair accessible, tables are accessible. Bathroom has large bathroom to accommodate a wheelchair but tight squeeze to get in the door to the large stall. Sink and soap would be accessible but paper towel dispenser is on other side of second sink and I don't think the wheelchair could get to that area.

Pork Flautas (ask for pork carnita meat, beef and chicken are only mentioned options) are my go to dish. But I recently tried the fried whole tilapia with corn tortillas and condiments.....delicious! Enough meat to share for sure. Fun presentation =)

Kids' meals are perfect portion. Other favorites are shrimp tacos, chicken quesadilla, Carne asada fries (off menu creation).

This is our second favorite Mexican restaurant where we live. This time the red sauce which I normally don't care for was really good. Our waiter was excellent very friendly and sociable. We were a party of 5 and the food came out pretty quickly.

We had a birthday celebration. The staff came out and sang happy birthday a let the birthday boy were a really nice sombrero during the meal. The waitress was great. And the food, as always, was excellent! I highly recommend you try it if you have not already.

This place is a awesome place! All the mangers and servers are great. My son loves this place and his favorite servers are Mary, Nick, Gustavo, Jack, and Kim! The service is great and the price is great! The is always hot and delicious!

We LOVE Yucatan! We go here probably 1 to 2 times in a week. For a family of 3 we can eat here for the same price as eating at a fast food restaraunt, if not less! We love the employees and the owner! They're all great people! Very friendly! 100% recommend!

Perhaps one of the best Mexican meals I have ever had. Great taste and incredibly inexpensive compared to many others I have been to. The chips with beans and cheese was very good. Excellent chicken fajitas.. Very large portions of food. The flan was not as expected. Very hard on the top and too sweet. Great service. I would return if I wasn't going back home.

I had a wonderful first experience. Our waitress Alejandra was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The queso was tasty. I had the deep fried chimichunga and it was delicious. My date had the steak nachos and Pina colada. The atmosphere was nice. This restaurant gets a 10/10

I love this place! The service is always top notch & the food is excellent. The shrimp fajitas are my favorite. I don't know how they cook the shrimp but they are the best! Give them a try, you won't regret it. They are busy during main meal hours so you might want to call & make a reservation if you have over 4 people going.

OmG, LOVE this restaurant! Went on a Saturday for lunch and was seated, took orders and served our meals immediately! Not to mention they looked like they were at full capacity already and the bill for 2 meals was LESS than $20! Our waiter was Flako and he was fantastic! They have vegetarian options. The nachos and salsa was delish and we will definitely be back for more!

This place is packed and I know why. Good food, good customer service. Will come back here again next time I visit my daughter and son in law!

Of all the Mexican food in Sumter, Yucatan is by far the best. Went on a few dates here with my partner. Plenty of options. Decent prices. Really good salsa and queso.

The food was superb and the server made sure we were satisfied. I plan to eat here more often.

I always have a pleasant experience at Yucatán, regardless of whether or not it is during peak hours! Staff is friendly and food comes out quick. Portion sizes are huge also! I absolutely love coming here with friends and family.

Yucatán is far and above the best Mexican restaurant in town. You can go to the other places if you want, but you’ll just be depriving yourself of the number 1 option. This place and Yummy’s Thai restaurant are the only two places that I’ve eaten at more than 10 times that have never let me down or disappointed me even once. Excellent service, excellent food, the best salsa in town, and you gotta love the music. Do yourself a favor and go get you some Yucatán. Have a cheesesteak burrito or mocajete and a nice tall beer or a drink. Enjoy.

Great rich salsa, everything tastes clean and fresh. The whole fried tilapia with fresh veggies and corn tortillas with rice and beans are amazing. Fantastic Margaritas!!

First time ever coming here. Everything was so nice. I decided to come in after seeing it be so busy. The shrimp tasted so fresh. Absolutely delicious!!!
