It was fun walking these furbabies. Definitely don't need to go to the gym today. I enjoyed the workout. They do have some easier pups to walk too. I even had a pup that jogged well. Such fun pups and nice people that I got to meet this morning who also volunteer to help out these furbabies.

Officer Williams was Very helpful, and wonder to work with. I would like to take the time to Thank this entire staff for their service Especially during the Tragic Flood here in Sumter County only 9 days ago. The outdoor kennels with a cover. Are new and clean. Very impressed with this facility!!

I can't say my experience was great cuz i had to take my dog there and release her to them due to some behavioral issues. However, Mr. Choice (idk if that's how it's spelled) was very friendly and i was so afraid of being judged but all the staff were nice. Thank you for not making my hard time even harder!

Very hard working staff, and volunteers. They’ve done a lot to improve this facility and to find homes for dogs or place them into rescues.

Called about kittens that need a home, and wasn't aware that you need to pay them. I'm from Blythewood and they don't charge you. What is the purpose of this place?

Biggest waste of time!!!! I believe these people wouldn't know how to catch a dog even if they tried. Waste of taxpayers money!

This department is a waste of time. Give them the power to ticket people are breaking the laws .don't leave it up to the sherifsdept .

They don't pick up stray cats. You have to use your own money to buy multiple traps, and then they will come out and MAY take them or put them down. What good does that do to keep them out of my yard? What animals DO you control?

Horrible!
It's like pulling teeth
Trying to get an employee
To actually do their job!
And respond to your call, or to solve a problem effectively!
When you call they are extremely rude!
They act as if your disturbing them.
I lost my pet that I've had for over 10yrs
Due to their incompetence!
Their job is to serve the community!
And they really suck at it!
The employee's deserve a negative 0
As far, as ratings!
It's not the actual facility that sucks
It's the people.

Zero stars. These people are absolute clowns. I've interacted with them on 2 separate occasions. Both times with different people. They're rude. Talk down to you. Unhelpful. And they like to raise their voice. Here's a thought. If you have zero people skills. Don't take a job where you have to interact with the public.

A Lawsuit Waiting To Happen!
I call every single day, several times about the vicious dogs across the street! They have attacked several people, drawing blood and causing severe wounds! They are even chasing people across the street and into my yard! I can't even go to my own mailbox or take my own dogs for a walk! This has been going on since August of 2013! I have the phone records to prove it! They finally got the owner to put up a fence in 2014 but after the first few weeks, the owner got several more dogs! And the problem started all over again because they don't keep them in the fence!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why haven't they picked up these dangerous beasts?! Must be because they are not pits! If they were pitbulls they would have picked them up the first time I called! An obvious example of reverse breed discrimination, as I have a pitbull who has never chased anyone walking down my road, has acctually never chased anyone at all and definitely NEVER bit anyone!!! Dog or person. This is ridiculous! The taxpayers pay for THIS???????!!!!!! What will it take to get HELP?!?!?!
