Ordered early morning pick up order, order was ready when I went in to pick it up. Hot and fresh fish, this was my first time going to this restaurant. I'll be going back. Reasonable prices also.

This is an old southern hole in the wall place manufacturing gold in the back!!! When you walk in, it's a seafood shop with the smells of fresh seafood (yuck) but the smell that draws you in that door makes you wanna stay and see. I am so glad I did cuz the line was telling the story. This fish was freaking delicious cooked perfectly, older staff that duss and loud talk each other it was great! This is not a restaurant it's take out of fried fish and wings almost exclusively. You can get fries, but not sure about other available sides. I drove an hour and a half back home and that fish was still sorta warm and super delicious! Fried perfectly.

Great friendly service. Fish very fresh and well fillayed. Hush puppies were excellent.

Every trip to Liberty seafood is like visiting family. They take time out to learn us customers by name. Such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I love them guys.

My first time there and I arrived around their closing time. They accepted to take my last minute order and the food was amazing. I ordered a 2 pc snack ( catfish, fries, and dinner roll ) ALL FOR 7.99. I highly recommend for some fresh seafood.

I can say I never liked catfish it had a weird taste every place I've tried it. I don't know what they do but I will only eat it from here. I'm also not a fan of shrimp but again this place. Omg!!!!!

My favorite are their whiting fish baskets .We recently ordered crabs and shrimp.The crabs were great. Didn't enjoy the shrimp though.

Best fish market in town. Food is well seasoned. Congenial atmosphere. The white boss speaks to his staff like dirt but everyone has bills to pay so they accept it. They are used to it.

I honestly love this place!! I'm from California & I've been going there almost 2 years I usually go but my seafood an cook it I love there catfish fillets lol an cook them myself there meat IS ALWAYS FRESH EVEN IF FROZEN!! but I went last week an actually bought me some fish for lunch an it was very good!! Best place in Sumter!!

It's a fresh fish market and they cook fish and chicken too. I love it. Well seasoned.

The food is always excellent. My fave is the liver & gizzard basket but the fresh fried fish and shrimp is awesome too! Call ahead though. Wait time can be 1-2 hours on Friday afternoon or weekends. Well worth the wait! Or take the cleaned fish home if you prefer to fry it yourself.

Been going to this establishment since I was a kid and I'm now 36 years of age and randy has not aged a day it seems lol, always had great seafood and the only problem I have is that he never invested in cocktail sauce for the shrimp

Mr.Randy and his staff is the best ... I came from Florence, SC just to eat from the Fish Market..Always put a smile on my face. Food is always delicious....

Liberty Seafood is like a landmark in our community and one of the few fish markets still standing. The fish are always good and fresh. The employees are long standing and I couldn't ask for a better community fish market

I placed an order for my job potluck. The fish tasted great and it was fresh and hot right out of the grease. They gave me a military discount which I greatly appreciate especially when most establishments in Sumter do not offer one. Thanks for a job well done!

Randy the owner is a great person. He is a good guy. Last week I called ahead a asked Randy to prepare me 5 pounds of catfish nuggets. He had them ready when I arrived. I fried them in beer batter and I have never tasted better. Everything there is fresh and good. The best place in Sumter to get your seafood. Thanks Randy.

This seafood is the best place to get seafood from in Sumter South Carolina. Nobody beats them. Your food is always fresh and hot. They go above and beyond to make sure your order is correct and that food is fresh it's worth every penny that you pay for it.
