1912 Bed and Breakfast

Great B&B. Pet friendly. The staff is exceptional!! Breakfast was made every morning fresh and hot and served by 2 very gracious people! Thank you for a wonderful stay. My husband and I AND our 2 dogs will be back again. The home is beautiful! The rooms are very clean and spacious. Treat yourself!! Stay here!! Thank you so much!!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Everything was perfect from the comfortable beds and antique furnishings to the wonderful breakfast. Tommy was a great host. We will be repeat guests!

Tracey was more than accommodating, the house is a gem! The evening was everything we had hoped for and more! Tracey went above and beyond as a host. We would gladly return. Highly recommended!

Great stay! Only there 1 night for business, but it was easy to check in late (10pm) and check out early (7am). Wish breakfast had been served a little earlier, but the owner did try to make accommodations. No complaints at all, wonderful place to stay if hotels are getting dull. Looked like a nice breakfast!

We had a great time. And the house was pretty awesome. It was a chill experience.
Also I was surprised to see Gordonia lasianthus...a native evergreen tree related to non-native camelia in the yard.

Absolutely loved our stay! It was our first time getting a bed & breakfast and they definitely went beyond our expectations! The house was beautiful & our room was perfect! Was Clean and homey! I never heard any of the other guest! It was like we were there by ourselves and it was so cool! Tommy was sweet & amazing! Wish we could have seen him more! Everything about this Bed and Breakfast was perfect. Very quiet setting, period correct furnishings, very friendly host, very comfortable stay. I highly recommend this as a planned stop over on a trip, or as a mini-stay to get away for a couple days.

Tommy our host was super nice and friendly. Stayed in the Spring Room which had a really unique bathroom with access to a huge private balcony. Breakfast was great. Price was modest for the excellent service and accommodations we received.

We had a great stay at 1912. We thought the house was really cool, we enjoyed learning about the history of the home and how it evolved through the years.

Service was great. Friendly and inviting, far better than any hotel. Breakfast was super as well.

Would definitely recommend staying here versus any of the hotels. Far better experience and service. Plus a five minute walk to downtown Sumter.

We thoroughly enjoyed this venue for a work anniversary party and would recommend it for overnight stays as well! Beautiful job, everyone!

What a beautiful home! It really makes u feel like u stepped back in
time. Tommy & Tracey were gracious hosts, helping get our bags upstairs, and accommodating an earlier brkfast for us as we had an 8hr drive ahead of us. The brkfast was plentiful and the history lesson during it was cool too.
We only stayed overnight in the Blue room but it was HUGE and bed was SO comfy! So much thought was put into this home by T & T. The parlors and soft music playing in the eve was nice and very peaceful to sit on front porch. We will definitely come back when going through the area! VERY good value. U won't regret staying here. There r lots of steps if that is an issue with u...

Such a good experience! Beautiful very comfortable space with kind and caring people. A safe place for LGBTQIA+. It was nice to give my money to people instead of a chain. Hope to make it back in a few years.

This was our second year staying at 1912 with Tommy and Tracey. If you want an amazing experience, go here. Each morning you will have a suburb breakfast with the utmost attention from Tommy, Tracey and Cassie. They are readily available if you need anything, have questions, etc. They are easily accommodating as well. We truly feel at home each year we come here and we will keep coming back each Labor Day weekend. One of my favorite things is enjoying breakfast with the other folks staying. Thanks for sharing your home Tommy and Tracey!!

This place was amazing! The house is full of charm and very well decorated. Tracy was friendly and very attentive to her guests. Everything was super clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic! We stayed in the Spring Room, and my wife was so happy I found this place. We will definitely be back!

I’ve stayed here two years in a row while visiting Sumter. Accommodations are fantastic, host is inviting, and breakfast is on point. I plan to continue to book here in the future when I am in town.

It was our first visit. Enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was very good. The host was extremely helpful. We had no problems. Stayed in the romance room.

We absolutely loved staying at 1912 Bed and Breakfast! This was a stop on our way to Maryland and so glad we stopped here.

They are pet friendly which is awesome! We brought along our 14 lb dog Oakley with us and he loved it. They have a section near the parking lot where you can unleash your dog for them to play.

Tracey, the owner, is such a gem! She called a few hours before check in to confirm we didn’t have any dietary restrictions for breakfast. She also welcomed us with a quick tour of the home.

We stayed inside the Romance Room and it was just like the photo! The bathroom in this bedroom also had heated floors!

Moving forward, this will be our go-to BNB when traveling in the area!

We stayed here on our way to Florida on vacation and what a way to start! This house is GORGEOUS! The room was spacious and beautiful. Our hosts, Tracey and Tommy, were so friendly and accommodating. After requesting suggestions I got a wonderful list of antique shops and restaurants. This is a great little town and this BNB is the best place to stop. We highly recommend the 1912 Bed and Breakfast.

The owners are super nice. I stayed in the Moroccan Room. Nicely appointed. I enjoyed breakfast with the other guests. They served vegetarian patties for the one vegetarian guest. Also had fruit, cold cereals, cheese grits, cheese home fries, scrambled eggs, and a variety of beverages.
Upstairs there was an ice machine, various snax, and fresh made banana nut bread.
Coffee maker and fridge in the room.
Update - can't remember how many times I have stayed here. It's like my second home these days. 🙂
Another update - still a great place to stay. ☺
3/18/20 update. Been a repeat guest for 4 years. I love this place and they love me.
