The wait staff was beyond amazing. The food was very good. The menu was easy. The prices compared to portions is outstanding. Everyone should give this place a try at least once!

Need to prioritize dine service though. To go orders should not be higher priority when you have customers inside for hour. Much more focus is needed in the priority on excellent inside dining service

I love this place. The food is always excellent and service usually is good. Occasionally they get busy and service falls a little short, but the food definitely makes up for it.

This place has really great food! I've ate here at least 40 times and I've never been dissatisfied! Try the yaki and chicken! Their yum yum sauce is good too! The only thing that would make this place better would be for them to open their pickup window for people on the go! They also on holidays give free desserts sometimes! Great job guys! Very friendly staff!

This place has very slow service for walk in eaters. They put priority on people who call in verses those who come in to eat. Food is good but service sucks!!!- edit sorry for the harsh review they really turned it around and made our experience a blast! They provided us free appatizers to make up for the slow wait times! They are the nicest restaurant I've been too.

I ordered a to go hibachi dinner this evening from Tamiko and this was by far the best Japenese in the Tri Cities. This restaurant hails above any of the others within a 100 mile radius. The portion sizes and quality of food is just what you would expect from a top rated hibachi grill. The rice was fried, the texture was just right, not like the soggy rice from other Japenese restaurants. The substitution of carrots were sweet and delightful, the shrimp sauce was perfect in sweetness and density, and the protein is cooked to perfection and will melt in your mouth. To keep things simple, I've dined at Motos, Shoku, Wasabi, Kobe(when open), Tokyo, and many more, and not one can top the quality of food you will receive from Tamiko. Pleasantly surprised and grateful to have had the opportunity to experience this restaurant and so should You!

Food is wonderful! Take out containers are very nice when you order to go. Having the variety of Japanese and Mexican is really nice also. Something for everyone and it is all delish!

Food is great, portions are huge. Waitress could have been more attentive. Especially since there were only 3 people in the restaurant.

Japanese cuisine was absolutely great. The Mexican cuisine no longer exists. Our server said they fired the cook for the Mexican part for drinking to much on the job

We love this place!! Where else can you get authentic Japanese and Mexican and it tastes so yummy!!! They also have kid dishes for a great price that comes with a drink!!

This is my favorite restaurant in the Kingsport area. The restaurant is always clean the food is always served quickly and staff is very friendly. Try it out, you won't regret it.
