Rice Medical Center

Unfortunately, we had to utilize the ER services at RMC recently. Fortunately, we had the BEST experience! Everyone we had contact with was over the top helpful, compassionate and professional. Jill, Colleen, Mary Anne and Dr. Burnett went above the call to make sure we were comfortable and all of our needs were met. Plus, the TV in the ER room was a great touch! I feel confident in their diagnosis, treatment and sing their praises for aftercare and follow up the next day. Eagle Lake, you have a gem that I hope you never have to use. The level of care I received could never be matched at a big hospital. Impressed and grateful-thank you!

Rice Medical Emergency Room is the best in Colorado County. They are so efficient, caring, and thorough. Dr Burnett and Nurse Grisel assisted my husband with his condition and was able to have us transferred very quickly to Katy for more specialized care. Thank you all and keep up the great work.

Took my wife Pamela to the ER Monday night, Dr. Boyle and Nurse Grisel were so nice, very professional and the whole staff was awesome! Took great care of my wife! An awesome experience. Highly recommend.

We live in Columbus, so when my husband had to go to the ER we were sent there. When we arrived the staff greeted us with concern. Dr Burnett was in the room within a few minutes. After evaluating him. He ordered some test and got started on what needed to be done. After a few hours we was released to go home. Dr Burnett was great. Seemed like they were alittle short handed but we was taken care of well.

The ED is clean and efficient. The entire staff was very caring and pleasant. This has always been my go-to ER. Dr. Burnett even gave me a card in case I had any further questions. The nurses and the medical technologist were very nice.

Rice Medical Center ER did an outstanding job of taking care of my son last night, Dr. Burnett was so kind and did a great job, he along with RN Kasey McDaniel made the whole experience much better than it could have been! Annette was also great and got us in and out and on our way home quickly!

I received outstanding service from Nurse: Cayden & Dr. Kim I had to leave work not knowing what was wrong with me, but I definitely knew something wasn't right. I arrived to Rice Medical Center's E.R. at approximately 4:33a.m. on 1/30/24 with a terrible migraine, chills, sweats, nausea & the list goes on let's just say within the matter of minutes ( it felt like seconds) I was asked medical related questions & the awesome staff teamed up & had me on the road to recovery in no time. I definitely won't hesitate to choose Rice Medical Center for my family & myself Medical needs...thank you to all the RMC Team for a job well done.

Absolutely LOVED Dr. Burnett! Not only was he kind and friendly, but he even had a sense of humor. There's a number of great staff at RMC, just wished we didn't visit them as often.

Intake was easy. Er room was spacious and everything was clean and organized. We saw Dr. Burnett. (Our first time seeing him) I have had some issues with care before with previous ER Drs (none of the regulars) but he was very good with my daughter. He had a great attitude and dad jokes lol. He attended her with confidence and answered any concerns and made sure with the pharmacy if the medication was available before sending. Saving me time since it was out of stock at my first choice. He made sure we had work/school notes. Very thorough and definitely look forward to the changes that are taking place at RMC.

I brought my daughter in on a Thursday night after a hard fall at gymnastics. When we walked into the ER in Eagle Lake, we were immediately welcomed by the ER nurse, Kasey McDaniel. He did an exceptional job calming my daughter down & within no time we were in a room& being seen by him along with Dr. Burnett & Ashton Pavlu.

I cannot brag enough on our experience at the ER. The three of them worked together to get x-rays, sedate my daughter, reset her arm, and made sure she was well cared for until we were released. Dr. Burnett took the time to check on my daughter over the course of the next couple days and also helped me get an appt with the new orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Johnson.

I appreciate them so much and everything they did to help make this experience as easy as possible.

I took my mom to the ER really late at night and she was placed into a room immediately and seen very quickly by the nurse followed by Dr. Bales. Both the nurse and Dr. Bales were very prompt, professional, and caring. They listened very well without dismissing anything she said. They were able to quickly diagnose her and help relieve her symptoms so she could return home.

Dr. Kim & Nurse Ryan handled everything professionally and helped me within a matter of minutes.

I thought I was dying. My heart rate was pushing 200, it seemed all my organs were failing, and I couldn’t keep my head up to speak. They wasted no time getting my heart rate down and explaining what was going on. For a small town hospital I was thoroughly surprised and would recommend these two solid rockstars to anyone else in town.

Wonderful experience. I was so stressed upon arrival but very relieved upon departure. My issue was addressed and I left with reasons for my illness and prescriptions to heal. Dr Boyle and nurse Ryan were professional but brought humor to lighten my distress. I was very pleased with my care.

My husband was seen in the ER at Rice Medical Center recently.
Dr. Frost was the attending ER Physician and he went above and beyond to make sure he had the best care.
I would also like to thank the nursing staff that was on shift for all their kindness, support and care during his stay. Rice Medical Center is the best and they care about their patients!!
