In the middle of a three and a half hour drive the man said yes we will eat here the food was delicious as he said it was. The wait staff was friendly. I love the Christmas decorations by the door might be the only picture we have with Santa LOL. I had the jumbo fried shrimp with fries and a salad no complaints whatsoever! Okay the table was a little wobbly but nothing we didn't fix for the couple napkins because I just can't do wobbly tables LOL! The man had two fish six shrimp 6 crawfish tails he said you can't get it better fried fish than this!

A hidden gem! The food is so good! My in-laws and I all had fried seafood while hubby had the double burger. We all enjoyed the food very much. And the fries were deliciously crispy. Can't wait to go back!

Me and my great uncle love going here. It's worth the 20+ min drive from Sealy. Food is good and the decor is great. I highly recommend this place if you want seafood.

I was very impressed by the service here. Despite only one waitress I was attended to quickly and got my food quickly. My shrimp po-boy was great! I'll definitely come here again. I was looking for a quick spot where I could hit the road again fast and Texas Seafood & Steakhouse did not disappoint! In and out in under 20 minutes and I didn't feel rushed!

I have stopped here twice while passing through town, and both times have been amazing. Everything is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommended from someone who travels frequent!

I love finding places like this. Local haunt, easy to find, right along the main drag going through town. Even though the parking lot was open - it was right after opening time on a Sunday - I figured this must be THE gathering spot in town. Inside was very roomy, very clean and with a surprisingly large menu. There was a large selection of grilled items, which I always like to find. The grilled snapper/shrimp combo was perfectly prepared, very fresh and lightly seasoned. Veggies were fresh and cooked to order, not mush that had been sitting in a steam table. My friend - much fussier an eater than me - went for grilled chicken and was also pleased and impressed. Service was friendly and fast. So if you want to skip the rat race of Interstate 10 and opt for a more leisurely country drive, you should plan a stop at this homey Eagle Lake restaurant. .

This is a hidden gem. I had blackened catfish with crawfish etoufee. I'll definitely be back. Large, delicious portions and friendly staff, for reasonable prices. Thank you.

Ate here for the first time last night. I had stuffed flounder and my husband had steak. We were both very happy with out meals. We will definitely return.

First time visit for my wife and I.

Their ribeye, shrimp gumbo, and fried shrimp-oysters-crawfish tails were prepared to perfection, their loaded baked potato was certainly loaded with the fixin's, no chinchiness here like the majority of chain restaurants this day and age. My wife normally doesn't eat fries but she really enjoyed them here.

Quality, Service is top notch.

No frills and basically no decor to speak of. The food is really good. Bring your own party and make your own atmosphere.

This is like a diner. The service was very good and friendly. We had the seafood platter for two and it was more than we could eat. Had to take some home. The menu doesn't mention fries which were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Since this was for two it is curious that they serve five shrimp.

came here and the food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the staff were really lovely. Their menu contains such a huge choice of meals and all was readily available. We highly recommend this restaurant and will return when passing.

Fabulous grilled shrimp salad. Best I have ever had. I made a special request see if perhaps they could cook just a a hamburger patty, well done, for my dog who I had in my truck. The waitress checked for me & I was very happy for the Chef accommodated my request. I highly recommend this place.

I went in thinking of a hamburger, but thought I would have shrimp instead. The menu had many different types of food, but I chose the Bacon Cheeseburger . It was without doubt the Best I have ever had! The fries are crispy ...fresh cut and flavored with seasalt. If you are going through Eagle Lake, stop there. You can't go wrong ! And I couldn't eat the whole thing, so now I have my dinner to look forward to! The waitresses are very good and friendly!

What a pleasant surprise in Eagle Lake! Great fried shrimp, crawfish etoufee, shrimp gumbo, etc... My Grilled Red Snapper lunch special with 3 shrimp, fresh veggies, & dirty rice was outstanding. All served quickly, hot, & as ordered.
