Hidalgo Park

This is a beautiful community Park! I was actually there for the festival.. supporting Dias de los Muertos.

Día de los Muertos- Day of the Dead festivities. Supporting local businesses while enjoying local musicians and dance groups and food.

Park is neglected by the city of houston but has alot of potential

Nice park, great people so friendly and inviting 😀 this was from today an event the non-profit organization that I volunteer with "BARRIO DOGS" was invited to be a part of. Our organization has been out there a few times educating the community of the importance of Spay & Neutering their pets ♥ we gave out over 500 lbs of FREE pet food thanks to the Houston Humaine Society and look forward to doing more events there❤

The park was empty. That's a good thing. Since, society has a problem with me, being around kids...? An empty park is perfect, for me

Clean place convenient to walking and running around

Grew up here. Always loved it as a kid. I come visit it every once in a awhile to clear my head.

The gazebo is perfect for picture taking and the acoustics is great for music! Could use more trees. Someone please plant the historic state pecan tree 🌳 for more shade!

Seems and looks lovely but for during the day because at night alone even though parts of it are lit up where need be it's friggn EXTRA erie and so ©®€€¶¥ like seriously THEE MOST disturbing i felt I need protection and was extremely uncomfortable constantly looking forward backwards side to mf side .. omgeezzz I felt so out of place for many reasons I will NEVER revisit at night ... But during the day it's definitely a relaxing place to go to it seems (Possibly haunted) ".............."

This is one of my favorite parks cuz is close to my home, i love walking around there and its a good place to take the kids to play in the water.

I will always hold Hidalgo aka Mexican park dear to my heart my husband & I exchanged vows at the park

My childhood park miss the wooden park dough and restrooms need update but it's a good community park

A place to relax with a very scenic landscape, complete with many things to do if you decide to bring family and friends. It even has a waterpark for these hot Houston summers.

Beautiful Park.Love the Gazebo. The river side has beautiful views the only bad thing is people living their trash all over the place .

Good place for a small jog. I hang with friends there from time to time. Nice little water playground for kids too.

I used to play baseball ⚾ at this park it is gtreat for kids and adults .been going to this park for 34 years i love it
