Buffalo Bend Nature Park

I take my furry friend to this park every weekend. He likes to walk around this park and do excursion. This park is very well maintained with little back route to the bayou. Little bags to pick up dog’s poop are also there. Never crowded and very calm and good vibes here.

I remember not that long ago when this park was an overgrown lot with discarded concrete casts. It's nice to see that the city of Houston is taking the initiative to transform these areas in to something enjoyable. The park has free wifi, a short series of trails that loop around a pond and it's a great place to watch local fauna. If you're in the area, I highly suggest visiting.

Nice little park but be careful with the wildlife (snakes)

It’s a great park , although it’s best to come on a cloudy day because there’s only one area with shade and the rest of the trail is shadeless . Beautiful view tho and trail . Sweet !

Lovely little jewel in the hood for experiencing a bit of nature in the city. Great for a short bayou walk that feels like a mini-get away. There's a pond with vegetation, a few fish, a variety of winged visitors and a little shady seating area.

I love this place has free wifi, it's a nice peaceful nature walk around the water. I would recommend exploring the hill for a great view of the area.

Naturaleza, trails to walk y caminar, relax con la familia, pasear your pets or your self, nice water future, clean grounds, a small covered area, you can have a picnic but make sure to clean up after. Some families were playing ball although the green areas are not that ample. You can go for prayer or Maybe a small group could do yoga or tai chi.

Turtles! And fish in a small park of photographic scenery with a small pond, and a gravel walking trail. Always clean. Great for a quick 30 min-1 hour visit.

Nice little park. Not much to it, but there are lots of little animals to see. It has a small walking trail.

Absolutely beautiful! Well kept, man made, and a feat of modern science—- such a great little park to take a stroll.

Nice little park, has a small trail and lots of opportunities to observe some nature. We saw a rabbit, ducks and we even found some wild onions and what looked like wild black berries. There is no playground or bathrooms so keep that in mind if you have kids.

Very nice place to have your lunch or stretch your legs on a sunny day. Turtles and birds in the water are nice features. Lovely!

I took my wife she loved it peaceful nice to walk through and see the little animals rabbits, birds, butterflies, turtles, fishes, frogs even a beaver. The place is Family friendly and nice to have a picnic
