We brought our newly purchased mare in for an overall exam, to have her teeth checked and to get all her vaccinations. Dr. Tom Gary, DVM, was very thorough and helpful. Our mare did end up needing her teeth floated, which is what we had thought. In his initial exam of her mouth, Dr. Gary also found that a molar had cracked and was poking her in the tongue. He removed the cracked tooth and floated her teeth. His equipment made the process go fast and the exam room is set up to keep your horse very safe. Our mare got all her vaccinations as well, and Dr. Gary had great advice for us about her feed and care. He never made us feel rushed and took excellent care of our mare. It's so nice to have an equine vet that is personable, reasonable and gives such quality care.
