Sea Ranch Restaurant

We were a group of 3 couples for dinner. They were quick to get us in and the restaurant was beautiful inside. Our server Gio was awesome. Very attentive, getting additional drinks, food suggestions. They had additional staff clearing plates, bringing water. It was by far our best experience on the island. The food was delicious, cocktails amazing, A must stop!

Sea Ranch is probably the finest restaurant on South Padte Island.
Certainly 'Spendy' but you should know that going in.
I had the Shrimp Scampi with a side of creamed spinach. Both excellent with a perfect portion size.
My wife had the Red Snapper Throats and they were also excellent.
Service was prompt, attentive and efficient.

I had the Ahi Tuna, blackened, med-rare with tropical coleslaw as my side.

We had 10 people in our group and were able to make reservations. We had a table at the window next to the marina and saw the sun set in the background.
They also have a fun gift shop when you first walk in.

Celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary there and absolutely loved it! We had their signature dinner, including whole fried snapper, grilled scallops, grilled shrimp and mixed veggies. We started with a redfish ceviche which was delicious. The staff was very attentive and helpful with pairing a great wine.

The food was amazing, our waiter was amazing, your staff was super amazing, the place is clean, and everyone was super friendly. Thank you for a great dinner and a great experience.

Had a very good experience at the restaurant today. The host said it would take forty minutes to get us seated at our table, but it only took two seconds. We had the fried red snapper and the shrimp boat. We also tried the Seafood soup, and the shrimp bisque. 10/10. Two adults and one child and we were full to the max. The server was very attentive and very friendly. She gave really good recommendations on the plates we should get. Super nice place, I don’t like that there’s rug instead of clear floor but there’s a great view of some boats in the water. Highly recommend, I would definitely come again family friendly.

Oysters Rockefeller were delicious. The ahi tuna was amazing. The appetizer portion was perfect size, and the mixed vegetables,that the waiter suggested (since they were out of the tropical slaw...disappointed) were very tasty.

One of the best seafood places on the island. Several of their menu items are fresh caught, and I highly recommend the red snapper. We didn’t have a bad meal at the table and the service was quick. Lovely views of the pier and good drinks. A little pricey but worth the extra money. They also were kind enough to find and return my sunglasses when I accidentally left them at the table. Always been a regular and will be back!

From Minnesota and we really enjoyed our meal! Many reviews and locals recommend this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Recommend the shrimp and blackened red snapper!!

Get ready to spend some money when you come here. I wish they were open a little later. Besides that the food was tasty. We did get some raw oysters that I was told were really good, not my cup of tea. The service was great. I love a restaurant that has water that does not taste like sink water.

Everything we ordered was so good. We chose this place to enjoy our anniversary and the service was on point. The price is a little high but can't complain because the food was good. The environment is nice and in a really good location.

I would highly recommend the lamb chops and steak. And you can't go wrong with the tuna poke for an excellent appetizer.

A very nice find while on SPI! While bicycling around the island, noticed it on the south end. If back on SPI for a rocket launch will definitely go back.

The food is always delicious and very unlike other sea food menus. They have smoked oysters which are so tasty and seafood enchiladas which they're very generous with the amount of sea food they stuff those babies in. My husband always tries different orders and he is never disappointed as well. My only small issue this last time was we were sat upstairs and there was a lot A LOT of staff banging as if they were dropping tables or something back there, it was very loud. Our waiter did not have great customer service. The last time we went however we had an amazing waitress who provided us her personal choices, was extremely nice and made the experience a whole lot nicer. I was hoping for that same consistency with everything since it is a bit of a pricey place. The food is worth it.

Sat in the bar area and had apps and drinks. Cocktails were great and reasonably priced. Food was delicious, though slightly pricey. Server was attentive. Only complaint, they recently replaced the carpet (which needed to be replaced) with hard floors, and now there is nothing soft to dampen the noise. Conversations just echoed to the point where our table was having trouble hearing each other. Maybe some curtains or acoustic foam on the ceiling would help? Good experience overall, though.

The red snapper was delicious!!! Best fish I’ve ever had. The food came out quick and our server took great care of us!

No doubt a bit pricey but the service was top notch and quality of food was there. Not too long of a wait time and food came out pretty quickly. I was recommended the spanish enchiladas and was not disappointed. The fish and shrimps were caught the day of which was nice. Our food came out fresh and hot. The staff were attentative and it was clear to see this place is well operated.

Quality food, great portions., great service. I would recommend the red snapper and chicken Alfredo, Josh was a great server. I would definitely come back!

The best food we had during our trip to south padre! I had the shrimp and tenderloin kebabs and they were delicious! The baked potato was the best I've ever had. We will defientley be coming back here!

When we got there we were told there was a 45 min wait. Surprisingly we had a table within 15 minutes. Kids enjoyed their virgin pina colada and daiquiri. We all had a little bit of each food. Ceviche was great, grouper with crusted pecan and creamy spinach awesome. Seafood enchiladas have my husband a Mexican seafood plate. Fried red snapper also delicious. Great place!

Fantastic seafood spot! Nice atmosphere, excellent drinks, and very yummy seafood. The ceviche and calamari were wonderful. The scalloped potatoes were incredible, but heavy, so be prepared to be full! The snapper was great many ways - the throats were interesting and yummy, but not worth the extra effort to get out the bones/scales in my opinion. We would definitely go again!
