Island Inn

The hotel was clean and the staff were amazing. I needed an extra pillow and the desk clerk went and got one for me right away! The breakfast was a little lacking (biscuits, donuts, juice, instant oatmeal and coffee). Maybe they could add flavored creamer for the coffee and some fresh fruit. All in all, my stay was a pleasant one.

The hotel was very nice. The room was great, clean towels and made bed every day. The front desk men are very courteous and informative. One of them helped us with getting our laptop Internet going. The hotel is situated in the middle of South Padre Island, which is a nice feature also.
I would recommend this hotel and go back in the future.

We were booked at another hotel down the street. We ended up leaving to find another hotel when the one we we booked at had roaches and the rooms were hot.
The gentlemen at the front desk were nice and friendly. I needed a broom to sweep sand from my son's shoes and they asked if they could help. I didn't let them, but it was sweet.
We had one other issue that they offered to take care of.
Over all our stay was enjoyable, and the rooms were Cool, clean, and nice. We have rooms booked to come back for a visit in a few week's.

This past week was my 3rd or 4th stay at the Island Inn. Last year the place was being modernized while I was there.
The effort shows this year. I don't think you can beat the value for money.
The place is clean and quire. Very friendly staff.
The breakfast does leave a bit to be desired, but still for the price, good value.

I will be staying again for a couple of weeks.

My stay at this hotel was satisfactory and I was happy with the service of my room, however the breakfast service did not meet my needs. As advertised I was promised with a variety of fresh breakfast delicacies and hot coffee but when I arrived to the breakfast station I was dissappointed to see that the food and coffee had stopped being served at 9:00 which is especially early. All in all I was happy the quality of the room I was staying in but was dissatisfied with the breakfast service.

Well run.. Great People that meet your every need.. CLEAN Inside the room and CLEAN complete everywhere inside the Motel Area. Very Clean and Nice Breakfast area.. Well lite for reading at Breakfast area...

The Island Inn was a good value for my money (off-season). The front desk staff were friendly and accomodated my request for a late check-out. Room was clean and just perfect for us to go to the beach everyday and come back and crash. Very pleased overall!

Overall, excellent place. The front desk allowed us to stay pass the check out time without any extra fees. Rooms were clean, and the people were helpful.

75 bucks tax include! Yes please! Exactly what I want in a hotel, 2 beds, room to walk, fridge, clean bathroom, pool, cable, internet, free breakfast, good staff and clean room. Now, it's not super fancy but exactly what a family on a budget could want! I am super happy about the money i saved and will definitely come again! Thank you island inn!

Centrally located with friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, good television a room refrigerator and microwave, good room darkening shades and a quiet air conditioner. It might be a little outdated but with the above and the low prices I'd stay there again.

Great value for money $78 per night including tax! Juan, bent over backwards to accommodate me so we brought our own coffe pot and toaster - so worth the home from home feature plus our own table cloth) 10 min walk to the beach and best sunset is at the end of the street (dead end) of the street same side as hotel. Also, Marco (little man on a scooter in the hotel) was selling mangos on a stick I have it in my house as dessert later.

Rooms were unusually quiet for a 25 yr old hotel. The only bummer is that the pool closed at 11pm curfew at midnight with buggy carts. So we sat on the cart in the parking lot drinking beers with other guests till 2 am.

Sea, sand and warm air gently relaxes your soul until you have pay $100 Uber/Lyft to Endinburg, TX. Needless to say, hop on a free ride to Brownsville Intern'l Airport and pay $17 Greyhound to Edinburg.

It was a great stay for 3 nights and 1 day everything was great from room quality to being very clean and also I loved that everything was soo close by. Only thing I disliked was the breakfast very simple wish they have more to offer but for a cheap price it's worth the stay!!

Our room had 2 beds a TV a overnight stand and a bathroom. Everything was great with the room and bathroom if you have anyprobles they have a Telephone to call the front desk there is a pool on the side of the hotel and they serve breakfast in the morning I enjoyed the stay and recend people to stay

This place is all you need... run at the mill hotel, nothing special or below standards. The best thing about this hotel would be the park that is right next door. Also its relatively close to restaurants which on the island some hotels are kinda far. The pool is not half bad. Great for the price

when i come stay at the island i usually stay here. it’s decent and they have great prices. the staff is welcoming and helpful. the pool is small but it does fit a lot of people.

I came down for spring break and they gave me a nice room towels could've been better but they were professional fast and friendly I wanted to have a great time and they helped accomplish that😉 would highly recommend

We Absoutely loved our stay the staff was amazing. Juan was truly a Blessing to me and my girls. He is so sweet and has the best recommendation every where he toldus to go was amazing. I don't know what I would have done with out him. He helped me in so many ways I can't explain. I highly recommendstaying here they really do makeyou fell like your right at home. Juan thank you do much for all you did and I'm so thankful to have a new friend.
