What a very nice, clean hotel! Best location on South Padre Island and across the street from Sea Turtle Inc! Our room was spacious and very clean, on the 3rd floor. We were on the beach side so each morning and evening we sat on the balcony with drinks and watched the waves roll in! We also went on the beach and nearby pier for great views as well! Every staff member was smiling, professional and very helpful. We would stay there again and have already told our friends about this excellent hotel! Parking was free and lots of it! Granted we came at the end of April and beginning of May so no spring break people! Pricing was as expected for the location and amenities. Great time!

Often back when I'd lock my bike on a ride and 'bum' some lobby coffee... got no grief. THANK YOU!
Friendly confines... people I know who made a stay there had great things to say.

On a whim, took a quick trip to SPI during Off-Season. Dbl Q room w/partial view off balcony. 4th floor away from the pool noise. Requested a quiet room and absolutely did get a quiet room! Front desk very helpful during checkin and throughout stay. Room was not ready (but I was very early), checked back at 5pm and room was ready. Very clean. Plenty of shower/bathroom supplies. Plenty of towels for 2 people. TV is kinda "eh" as it's old and quality kinda "eh". Be a plus if the hotel could replace this low-quality TV in room 461. Cable TV is just ok, but it is a hotel after-all. Streaming on our hand-helds was fast plus just connect, no sign-in required. Requested 2 blankets and housekeeping dropped off one very thin top-bed sheet/spread. Requested AGAIN blankets and they dropped off 2 white fluffy blankets. Communication via text was very prompt throughout hotel concierge and appreciated. Ate a small meal in evening at restaurant, its Mexican food and the choices were good. Split a platter appetizer and it was all very tasty. We did enjoy the fast service from our young waiter. He was funny, polite, helpful and good at his job. Too full to purchase their cakes/treats but the dessert case looks mouth-watering! Gift shop was large and plenty of shopping purchases including $12 SPI T-shirts long enough to cover what needs to covered. Plenty of options outside their side door onto the beach: pool, food, chair/umbrella rentals, hard liquor, non-liquor drinks for the kids like Pina Cauladas and Strawberry Daiquiris. Plenty of seating options, boardwalks that connect to the other two hotel areas, a path to the beach with a fabric on the sand to walk down the hill to the water. A long dock that extends out over the water is only reserved to one of the other hotels and it has a guard next to it, so we were not allowed to walk on it. I asked and were assured there is a City/County lifeguard on this beach during summer. Even those workers along the boardwalk who had nothing to do with the hotels were very polite, friendly, and helpful at my questions. One bartender didn't speak fluent English but she was able read English and asked me to write down my question and was able to help in that way; which is appreciated. We plan to return during High-Season and I do anticipate this remains 5 stars on the review :)

The front desk staff was fantastic!! Clean hotel, great food, bar and pool cabanas were so cool. It's at the end of the island but close to many bars that had live bands. Really great location.

Overall, a great 4 night stay. Great service overall. No significant complaints and I can be a picky Diamond member. Nice to have a Starbucks and Across the Border Bar and Restaurant. Nice pool area, but big pool not heated. Great hot tub, but small. (Need another). Clean lobby. Clean hotel in general. Very pleasant staff. Helpful people on the Hilton team. Great beach to collect small shells. Pretty beach. Patio facing the ocean is wonderful to have. We would return again.

Stayed one night...was perfect for a place to sleep and enjoy a walk on the beach...Starbucks in the lobby should try to figure out a way to use the Starbucks rewards system

It is a pet friendly place, my little friend felt welcome. It has a front beach access with a beautiful view. Rooms furniture could be better but for the price it's acceptable. In room 222 it was only hot water in the shower. (The installer put the shower on the wrong setting.) Overall we enjoyed.

The hotel is very well placed. Right on the beachfront with a boardwalk that goes out to the beach. Plenty of services available including four bars with one that you can swim up to. One inside the hotel and two behind it. One of those belongs to the neighboring hotel but they won't keep you from going to it any of them. You are really close to the pier where fireworks are on display. I'm told that it is every Friday but I was not there long enough to test that. The restaurant inside the hotel is pretty good but does not have a very diverse breakfast. But they do excel with lunch and dinner. There's a Starbucks on site as well. Towels are provided in the rooms, but I don't think they are provided at the pool. You may have to take your own towels. You definitely will if you're going to the beach. There is also a very convenient spot to rinse off All the sand on your body before going back up to the bars in the hotel.

We did pay extra to get an ocean view and we got it. Our room was spacious and had a panoramic view of the beach. The service was excellent. "On the border" restaurant is located inside hotel and they had delicious food and some good cocktails. Great stay and good experience.

The hotel was overall great! Our room was so spacious & nice. All other hotels we've stayed at, the bathroom was right next to the entrance, then just the bedroom. Not this one. It has a big living room kinda area with it's own tv, plus another tv in the bedroom area. It has an On The Border Restaurant, Starbucks & a gift shop. We asked for extra towels at front lobby. The gentleman was already waiting for us at the door by time we got there. Great customer service. We will be definitely be staying here again 😊

Nice stay. The room was spacious. The pool had a kid's section, which the kids enjoyed. Everything was perfect for our short beach trip with the kids. The staff was friendly, and I loved having security around the pool the whole time. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

This was our first time staying here and we will likely make it our go-to. The front desk was very friendly, the hotel was clean as well as our room which was also very spacious and the view was great. My only complaint is the pizza; it was not good for the price. My daughter compared it to her lunch pizza, lol. AND it took an absolutely ridiculous long time for us to get. Other than that, I would totally recommend.

This hotel on the beach has everything you need for a fun stay. We have been coming here for 14 years with the family. The rooms are great and staff always friendly. Food and drink options are plentiful, no need to leave the hotel if you didn’t want to.

The 4th floor is the one with the best ocean views in my opinion. The lighting in the room was pretty dark but you wouldn't mind it cause you will spend most of your time doing outside activities. The pool is very kid friendly. Great location for beach access.

Starbucks staff could work on their miserable attitude.

It has beachfront access. Please note that there is no clear ocean view from any room. It is partial view overlooking pool. Hotel staff is excellent and very supportive. Rooms could use some remodeling specially bathroom. Balcony is great value. It is good location as it is kind of middle of island. It has on site restaurant and beach access. Price is little expensive however benefits are great, Pool is awesome. Overall worth your ticket.❤

Wow and wow! Booked online from home not knowing what our room would look like and we were pleasantly surprised! Rooms have huge balconies with three chairs and table. Our view is to the south and is just gorgeous. Comfy beds, On The Border restaurant on the premises, directly off the lobby. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Such a welcome place after long drive from Houston.

Stayed 4 nights with my family. It was perfect! Hotel was kept very clean, staff was friendly. Pool is big and just steps away from beach. Many options for eating within walking distance. We definitely will be coming back

Love staying here! It is at the end of all the hotels so not as much traffic. There pools are perfect for the whole family - there is a slide and a 1ft pool for littles. And if its beach you want then it is a short walk and they have umbrellas and chairs you can rent on the beach if you don't have your own.

Overall, there were 9’s and 10’s but our average is an 8 based on 2 things:
1) Bedroom area needs additional lighting at night. Daytime is fine with the windows.
2) The restaurant service on our lastnight was sub par. We were seated in the bar area by the hostess and nobody greeted us for approx 10 minutes. The bartender noticed that after other patrons seated in the same area were helped. The bartender assisted us throughout our dinner. Good service by him.
3) My thoughts on first impressions go a long way. The interior of the elevators need attention.
Overall, the grounds are gorgeous and well attended to by staff. The staff are friendly and everyone greeted us except one house cleaner throughout our stay. She always seemed stressed and ignored any eye contact to greet guests. The Landry room on our floor (2nd floor) was out of service our entire stay.
The location to the beach is awesome. The bar/restaurant on the beachfront is awesome. The staff that we encountered during our stay at the beachfront bar were friendly and greeted you with a smile daily.
The rooms are quiet and pretty well soundproofed from outside noise.
Would we return? yes, most definitely.
