Candlewood Suites Houston I-10 East, an IHG Hotel

Hands down one of the best Candlewood suites I’ve ever been to in the last 5yrs. Great staff, positive attitudes, considerate guests, officers that watch the property, I could go on and on… I would give them 6 stars if I could.

We have a wonderful stay each and every time. The people are so helpful and friendly.
The wash room is a great amenities. My family and I look forward to staying at candlewood suites. It's a home away from home, truly.

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were clean and soft. Kitchen was excellent and had plates, cups, utensils, etc.. The bathroom was fully stocked and clean. Dog friendly was a plus. No continental breakfast for the price. No worries, the stay was very comfortable and quiet. We will return.

The rooms have been renovated and are now more modernized. The Staff is always friendly and I feel save with the onsite security!!!

We were evacuating due to the hurricane in New Orleans. Originally we stayed at a hotel in Pasadena but upon learning we couldn’t return yet I decided to find something for a longer stay.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very large for the price point. More akin to a one-bedroom apartment than a traditional hotel room. The kitchen comes equipped with the essentials which I was thoroughly impressed by.

They provided a rollaway bed for youngest children which is great. The rooms are fairly quiet, I haven’t been able to hear anything while inside the room, and the people next to us have their own small children.

I haven’t seen any signs of bugs or dirty walls as some other reviews claim. Everything appears spotless.

I am incredibly impressed by the entire presentation of this hotel. I would thoroughly recommend it.

We needed a one stay stay on our trip and this place was perfect. Right off the main highway so lots of things nearby. Rooms had a nice layout and clean. Pet friendly.

Great professionalism, great rooms with kitchen and full size fridge with separate freezer. Hot plate didn't work but I'm a truck driver so I have one anyway. Available parking was great. Only thing I dislike is carpeted flooring which is a problem with any star level room.

I have enjoyed my stay so far. Angie at the front desk has been a great help. The staff is cordial, the hotel is clean, the water runs, and there is electricity. Not sure if you could ask more given the low price. Additionally, the parking lot is well lit with very visible security cameras. I would recommend this hotel for extended stays.

This was previously my hotel of choice when traveling for work in the area, but lower rates at nearby hotels led me astray for awhile. The rates here have recently become more competitive so I'm back! First, the general area around the hotel isn't great but it is close to work and I enjoy the short, trouble free commute. However, I've never had any issues staying at this hotel. Perhaps not the best if you enjoy walking to nearby attractions, but that doesn't apply in my situation. The parking lot is well lit and parking is close to the hotel. The hotel entrance/lobby is nice and the pantry option to pick up snacks, drinks, light meals and a few odds and ends is super convenient! The rooms are really spacious even with kitchenette. While I haven't really taken advantage of the full size refrigerator, microwave, stove top I imagine it would be welcome on longer stays. The bed is big and comfortable, bathroom updated and really like the large desk for finishing up some work after dinner. The only negative is the hot water cut out for a few minutes while showering the first morning. Not sure what happened, but it came back on and no issues since. Overall, if you have to stay in this area, especially for an extended period of time, this is the place I recommend and where I prefer to stay

This hotel chain is my goto ever since I stayed at the one that use to be near Bush. Always nice big rooms, good beds and bathrooms. Has a stove and full size fridge with microwave. Tvs are a bit so so, you can hook hdmi and chromcast into them but are finicky on input selection. This one in particular is located in a fairly meh area but there's tons of food and shops well within a short drive

We love it we stayed here on our way to louisiana. The best part this hotel is pet friendly the only thing is the cost is $25 dls to have u pet with u in the room. The room wasn't very clean and dog found things to eat there.... but it was clean enough.

We had a great night there we highly recommend this place.

This property is great! Clean and spacious rooms, free laundry service and most of all people that work there seem to enjoy their job! I've been to this property more times then I can count and my expectations are always exceeded! Special Thank You to Cindy, Stephanie and Christian for always going out of their way to make my stays special!

Marie was the best receptionist ever. She was so caring for any needs I had with my two young kids. Yvette always had a good morning attitude! These ladies made my stay so comfortable. Thank you for all your help!

Nice place to stay. Come here to work 3 weeks out of the month. Clean & comfortable, no complaints. A few places within walking distance but many you will have to drive to. I would stay here again.

I love candlewood. My home away from home. Absolutely comfortable. Love the kitchens and the whole place. Great service and beds and the pillows omg the pillows. If you haven't stayed here then you should. And it's clean.

This was me and my husband second time staying here, the customer service is good & the rooms are always nice & clean. And the hotel is in a decent area, so no car break in's or theft to worry about.

Besides not having cups for coffee, great stay. First time at Candlewood Suites, will use again. Very clean rooms and helpful friendly staff.

I have stayed here for work over the last couple of months and left to visit 2 other hotels in Houston and Pasadena , my experience here has been extremely good with staff , room , amenities and security. If I could give them a higher rating I would because the overall stay is guest friendly.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks like mini apartment, you will have everything you will need for an extraordinary price, fridge, microwave, plates, silverware, desk, chairs, sofa, the size of the bedrooms are considerable big (Me and my family rented two different kind of bedrooms) both were so clean, the customer service was good, they have gym, laundry room and I don’t know if they have sometime else. We stayed just for one night, but we live so close from Houston so in the future we will definitely come back.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Very clean and spacious rooms. Reasonably priced to stay here. The area of town is not the best but the parking area feels secure and the location is actually off a side street rather than the main roads so you don’t have to worry about too much traffic in and out. Great fitness area, 2 huge grills on patio to utilize, complimentary washers and dryers are definitely a bonus, they also have a lot of items you can borrow for use at front desk (slow cooker, waffle maker, blenders, garment steamers, etc.).

I highly recommend this location if you are staying in Houston area. I am staying here while home is being renovated and the location and commutes are actually surprisingly very convenient, but highly suggest using Google Maps because there are multiple route options. In the morning I10 west bound can be bad going into downtown but depending on what side you need to be on, you can either exit Lathrop or Lockwood, take a left to Clifton then turn right and it will lead you all the way to DT. Or you can exit Waco St, take a right and then a left on Lyons and take that into DT. At the end of a workday the quick commute back is very pleasant. From med center, take San Jacinto all the way through Downtown until you get to Interstate 10 and your total commute can be anywhere from 20-30 minutes depending on the stop lights.
