TownePlace Suites by Marriott Houston I-10 East

Parking lot is the safest around. Good place to stay.

This is my second stay at this hotel. My overall experience has been ok. The front desk service is absolutely great. Very helpful. The housekeepers…. That’s another story. I’ve been here two weeks and my room has not been serviced. They take my dirty towels and do t replace them with clean towels. I brought my own own washcloths from home and when I got to my room this evening, they were all in the toilet. Purposely put there by some complete as***le. I am beyond livid. I went to the front desk to let them know, no manager available….. this room has cost over 1500 dollars since I’ve been here and the housekeeping is deplorable…. It’s unacceptable. I find it hard to believe that a hotel of this poor caliber would be allowed to carry the Marriot brand… Do better… you have a problem.

A few weeks later…

I met the General Manager yesterday. Was recently put into that position. (After my negative post) Great guy. The hotel has made some very significant improvements. My room is being serviced regularly. Good job!

Me and my family used to be homeless because we were remodeling our house which wasn’t livable. So we decided to stay at TownePlace Suites! the staff was super nice. the rooms were clean. I would come back to our room after school and the cleaning crew would leave sweet notes on our table. we stayed in room 104 so it was right in-front of the pool and every night we would open the window and watch the pool lights enter our room.

By far the nicest Towneplace Suites I've stayed at. I love the color scheme. The pool was crystal clear blue. The whole hotel was super clean. Everything was in really good condition, the furniture, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, tub, beds, bedding. Just everything. I felt very comfortable and safe there

Clean room, comfy bed. Every employee we spoke to was so kind and helpful. I have to give a special shout out to Melinda. Every morning she kept the breakfast hot and fresh with a big smile. Seemingly enjoys here job and taking great care of the guests. Help like this is hard to find. She is a great ambassador for your company. Great stay.

Seeing that a friend and I had driven the entire night to avoid the ice storm, we arrived earlier than expected. Upon entry, I was warmly greeted by Janice (a smiling face is exactly what you want to see after an extremely long travel). I explained the situation and she was hospitable and understanding. She attentively listened to the situation with an empathetic ear and offered resolutions. After settling down, she took time to share amenities of the hotel and encouraged me to use them at my leisure. The staff was courteous and the facility was inviting! Definitely would recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay here it was very comfortable, clean, & quiet. My husband and I got in late 12 midnight but the front desk was available to help us no issues with getting in the room. The staff very friendly and nice will be my go to hotel when I am on mini vacation.

This was a good hotel! The room was nice, bathroom was good, and they serve hot breakfasts! I will definitely stay at another one

Excellent Staff and GREAT ALL AROUND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Special shout out to Mrs. Portia, Mrs. Brenda, and Mr. James who were amazing!!! My family and I have stayed at hotels that are high-end, low-end, and everything in between, and our stay at TownePlace Suites Houston I-10 East (10507 East Freeway, Houston, TX, USA 77029) ranks at the top for GREAT ALL AROUND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! My wife, two young children, and I arrived a little early for our 6 night stay after completing a nearly 18 hour direct drive from northern Illinois to Houston. Upon arrival, Mrs Portia was very welcoming and accommodating of our early check-in. The night before my family and I were scheduled to check-out and travel back to Illinois, a large jar of honey spilled all over my car trunk. I salvaged what I could and figured I’d deal with the rest in the morning. That morning, Mrs Brenda and Mr James were gracious enough to provide me with recommendations for how to effectively clean honey from my car. Mr James went above and beyond in ensuring I had the proper tools to successfully clean my car trunk. He also found and cleaned my honey soaked umbrella that I’d previously set aside for disposal (totally unexpected, how awesome is that!!)! I offered to pay him for all of his help, but he refused to accept any payment. Instead, he gave me a fist bump and said, “that right there is good enough boss”! This hotel is full of excellent staff, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here when in Houston. I have family and friends in Houston, and I look forward to future stays when I return!

We visisted the TownePlace in Houston this past week. The hotel was very clean ,safe and most importantly the crew that works here are by far the best people in any of the Marriott properties I have visisted. Starting with the front desk personnel Barbara,Twila and Donna were amazing .I requested a little extra note to celebrate my spouse's birthday and they went above and beyond with all kind of goodies that left us completely amazed,it really made us feel special. All the personnel from house keeping to the public area were very cordial and happy to assit you in anyway. I will definitely come back for the convenience ,location of the property , but most importantly for the treatment I received .They made me feel just like home.Like I was visitng some friends. Come and visit this gem of a property you will not be disappointed ✨.

The staff here is outstanding. They are so friendly and really strive to connect with each guest. Meka was an awesome worker, she always kept our room super clean and it was great to see her always happy and smiling :) thank you to Meka and the staff for a wonderful stay!

The beds were comfortable. The shower has plenty of hot water. Stove and refrigerator available if needed.

Have been staying here since Nov 20, 2021. Would like to praise 2 employees. Ms Melinda, who runs the kitchen, is the definition of customer service and southern hospitality. I thank her for the menu change to accommodate my dietary needs. She is top notch. Second, is Ms Belinda Mae who runs the night desk. She goes out of her way to accommodate us railroaders, who have the most tasking schedules. Kudos to this dynamic duo!!!

Stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago the staff was helpful the young black lady on front was new but she was great at helping me.. The rooms were nice and also clea will definitely go back to stay!!

Had a A/C fire in our home, and wanted to stay someplace with a kitchen while we waited for insurance to kick in. This fit the bill. Also, I know Texans are known to be friendly, but all the staff, and other guests too, were very warm and welcoming. I would stay here again, and I definitely recommend it.

Very clean and well kepts rooms and facilities. Check in was quick and easy. Nyrobie the front desk lady has been very helpful and a very delightful and friendly face to see when coming in! We have an extended stay but so far we are happy and will be back.

We spent 3 months there. The hotel was always clean and well maintained. The staff were awesome. Twilla, Shemeka, Donna, James, Mario and all of other staff, we do not know their names, we’re all always professional, courteous and attentive to our needs.

Our stay was excellent because of Joanice. She was very professional in greeting .She also greeted us according to our staus! She told us if there would be any problems. She would personally take care of our need. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant

This is a brand new Marriott facility. Really like the setup and Furnishings. Extremely high value near Houston Hobby Airport. Staff are friendly. Note that they are just getting their processes in place to serve a stronger breakfast. Highly recommend this facility.

This is your standard Marriott property, with comfortable beds, good enough service, a swimming pool, and even a kitchenette. The location is within walking distance of a few good restaurants and one great Mexican one called Don Rey 2. You must go to that restaurant and get the molcajete, best Mexican food in Texas.
