What a perfect place to have breakfast!!! We went every day during our stay.
Not only is the quality of the food they serve superb but the owner and his staff are amazing. You can really tell when someone takes pride in what they do and in this restaurant, they all do!
When I explained I do not eat meat, I was immediately offered a substitution. Since they are well known for their pancakes, they gave us a free pancake to try out.
You go in and you feel a warm welcome...
Do not miss it, you will not regret it! And if you do not have time to dine in, they have a drive through!!! They also offer catering.

You must try this place!!! You order at the front and they bring you the food. I always forget to get pictures but I remembered to take a few this time. My husband had a carne adovada burrito, he gave me one bite and I tried to eat the whole thing, lol. I got the sunrise sandwich, on ciabatta with crispy bacon, egg, green chili and added avocado (which the owner didn’t charge me for) and it was also amazing! Our daughter got the going bananas French toast that looked incredibly delicious. We will definitely be back!

It was a last stop before we headed out of town, and I'm so glad we did! From the delicious grande burritos to the amazing pancakes. Everything on the menu was well thought out and cooked to perfection.
Anytime we are back in Albuquerque, we know where we will be having breakfast!
Also, the cinnamon rolls and desserts are a must!

What a delightful breakfast we had at Central Grill and Coffee House! We ordered the Eggs Benedict and a towering stack of pancakes. While both dishes were excellent, the pancakes truly stole the show – fluffy, mouthwatering, and perfect! We couldn't help but wonder if we should have taken a leap of breakfast faith and sampled their tempting breakfast burrito. Perhaps next time! If you're on the hunt for a superb breakfast experience, this is the place to go!

First time visiting Central Grill and I was Very impressed by how Great the customer service is here ♡ and then there are the Flavors ! The food here tastes Homemade like what you would eat at your Abuela's (grandmother's) Table. Met a very nice gentleman named George Griego who came by to introduce himself and to make sure my family and I were taken care of. His kind demeanor and attentiveness I won't forget --and I post these pics with Hopes that Each of you reading this Will Stop By and Enjoy it at Central Grill just like we did... spot is right across from Actual Old Town! ♡
THANKS, MR. GEORGE ! ☆☆☆☆☆

This is definitely the spot where the locals come. It’s always busy and the prices are super reasonable. The food is good too and the service was simply outstanding. They have a very compassionate staff and they made several good recommendations. It’s nice to still see a place that truly cares about their guests!

Cozy and relaxed restaurant with a friendly diner feel and serious breakfast comfort food. The employees take extra care to ensure you're enjoying the experience and are super friendly. A great vegetarian option is huevos rancheros with pepitas or hash browns.

I had the smothered adobada burrito smothered and it was so good!! It was pretty spicy but not to the point where it lost flavor! A must try! The iced latte was also great, pretty hard to find a breakfast where you can have a good meal and iced latte at the same time. A must visit when coming to Albuquerque.

A tasty place to stop for breakfast. I highly recommend their pancakes and flavored lattes.
It is not hard to see why they were rated the best in the city.
The service here is excellent.
Every member of the staff we encountered worked to make sure we we’re having a great experience.

My son and I took a road trip through the southwest. Ate at many highly recommended restaurants and this was the best meal we had the entire 10 day trip. I ordered the banana french toast - yum! It was a little loud inside the restaurant, but there was ample seating in the covered patio and fans to keep things cool.

We enjoyed our breakfast and the coffee. The Central Grill & Coffee House is a place I certainly recommend. We had breakfast at this amazing place during the International Balloon Fiesta. Therefore, it was really crowded. However, we did not have to wait too long. You order at the bar and the breakfast is directly brought to your table. Tables are clean and the staff members are very helpful and friendly.

This place was so special!!!
The food was incredible, the pork soup was literally everything I was craving for two days, the pancakes were delicious as well. With the being said, the owner was one of the best humans I’ve ever encountered. You can see and feel how much pride he takes on giving excellent service!!
Definitely recommend stopping by!

My favorite local breakfast house. Great blueberry pancakes. Huge breakfast burrito. But the best item there are their sticky buns. They are actually huge cinnamon rolls with pecans on top. My grandson and I share one because they are so big. It is usually busy but line moves fast and quick turnaround time fir your food. I Highly recommend this place for breakfast, brunch or lunch!

Fantastic food. Exceptional service. Absolutely wonderful experience here. Small local business just on the edge of old town, easy access to start your morning before shopping or take a lunch break. The service here is just outstanding. Super friendly to start, and they went out of their way. They ran out of skim milk for a latte, and instead of telling us “too bad”, they asked us if we didn’t mind waiting, they would go to the store and buy some. The latte was great too. The food was delicious- their pancakes really are the best in town. You must try them! The specials are also fantastic and all the food is cooked to perfection. They do offer a pretty wide variety of food, both breakfast and lunch items. At the end of our meal the owner even stopped by to ask how everything was. Very nice gentleman, it’s obvious he truly cares about his business and people’s experience there. HIGHLY recommend eating here!!!

This is another of my favorite places to eat. The food never disappoints. The red chile is probably the best in town. The service is always excellent!
Editing this review to add this: the owner is always super nice and he acclaims their pancakes as "the best on the planet" so we tried the blueberry pancake on our last visit and yes he was right it was out of this world delicious!!!😋

We visited here almost a year ago on vacation but remember the experience being phenomenal. As one of the other reviews mentioned you could tell the owner takes pride in this place. My wife loved the Chile rellenos and I enjoyed my chilequiles. Owner even offered us a taste of the blueberry pancake which was quite amazing. We plan to come back on our vacation to Albuquerque again this month.

Had the Grande Burrito with bacon smothered in green and an order of the waffle dogs. It was enough food for me and my wife to share and be fully satisfied. Burrito had a ton of flavor and the chile didn’t overpower the bacon of potatoes. Service was great! We even were offered free drinks to go which I was surprised by considering I had coffee. Overall I’ll 100% be back! Excited to visit during the summer when the patio is open.

This was a pretty popular place that we found and we wanted to try it. My girlfriend and I both got steak and eggs as we were pretty hungry from an early dinner the night prior. The food was absolutely delicious and I left wanting more. I got the toffee latte as recommended by our server while my girlfriend got the toffee cappuccino. I enjoyed my drink and I am certain it will be very useful for my long drive ahead. Very friendly staff and a well maintained restaurant overall. I would recommend coming here for breakfast/brunch.

First time hitting up this Old Town adjacent eatery and it did NOT disappoint. The staff was super friendly and helpful with us being first time customers; specials were pointed out and favorites as well. I went with the Croque Madame and my partner opted for the eggs Benedict. The eggs were fresh, the ham was grilled perfectly, hashbrowns were crisp yet moist, and the coffee was better than the big chain faves. My Madame came with the zestiest Dijon mustard that really elevated my dish. Ended the meal with a heated up apple fritter from their display case, and we will definitely be returning to the heated patio area tney had.
