I just got home from eating dinner here. I’m as full as a tick. I feel like my full stomach has another full stomach crammed into it. The service, food and decor are all top notch and well worth the price of the dinner. 👍👍

We love family-style dining at Diamond Mineral Springs. Locally known as "Chicken Sh*t Hill". Best fried chicken in the whole area. No credit cards. Only cash or check.

Love this place! The food is great! Pies that seem to be a foot tall! It's out in the middle of nowhere but worth the drive.

If you ever happen to be near Pocahontas Illinois and are in search of a great place to eat I highly recommend Diamond Mineral Springs, its a little off the beaten path but worth the drive! Expect to pay between 15 - 30 dollars a plate. Down home style cooking and unlimited sides!

The Fried chicken is the best chicken I have EVER had!! Two thumbs up. It was crunchy and flavorful but the chicken itself was still juicy. The catfish was great as well. The service was amazing and down to earth with a huge selection of amazing pies.

If you're looking for a home style, family experience this is it! It's the longest running restaurant in Illinois! Been going there for as long as I can remember! Nothing better!

What an awesome place to celebrate Mom’s 90th birthday, combined with Easter! Beautiful venue, wonderful service, amazing, mouth watering choices of food, for all kinds of appetites! If one goes away hungry at Diamond Mineral Springs it’s not the fault of this business! Great communications as well with help organizing a memorable event for our family gathering!

Went on Thanksgiving. No one wanted to cook. Well. They cooked. A lot. Family Style. Cranberry sauce was off the chain. Perfect balance of sweet and tart. Could tell it was fresh. Hot biscuits that were obviously home made. Apple butter to put on top.
Pro Tip: You will be full when they ask about dessert. Don't trust your instincts. Order the dessert to go.

Excellent menu in a family friendly dining atmosphere. Took a party of 12 last week to celebrate a 90th birthday. The young lady who took care of us was outstanding (you know who you are :) Family who came into town from CA and MA also enjoy the nice countryside drive on our way to the restaurant.

Awesome place! It was a cozy surprise. Great friendly employees. Have great food beverage selection for adults and kids. And I don't want to share how good the peach pie is. If you go there save me a piece. Wish I had a few more photos I could share.

We were here for my daughter's rehearsal dinner. The fried chicken was delicious, the brisket was tender, and the family style sides hit the spot! A piece of foot-hi, coconut cream pie topped off one of the best meals I've had in a long time!

We ate here once many years ago. Now we live a mile away and it's our new favorite place to go.

Really good fried chicken. Homemade mashed potatoes with milk gravy and biscuits, green beans, beets, and coleslaw. Its all good. Sides are served family style. Be sure to get a piece of pie, to go if you are stuffed. Love the chocolate pie. We dont live close, but my family has been having Sunday Dinners here several times a year for decades. Its a crowd pleaser.

This was my first time eating here, and I'm glad we went. We called ahead and made reservations which made things less stressful than just showing up with 9 people. The food was very good and the atmosphere great. It's a home cooked style food but changes things up and serves the sides first in a big dish to pass around like you cooked it at home. The prices are a little higher, but for what you get I think it's worth it. I got the BBQ Bajed Chicken and you get half a chicken. Very tasty. I'll try the fried chicken next time as it looked amazing. We will definitely go back.

Family style, chicken always good. Have eaten country fried steak and cod both dishes good and plentiful. Automatically get sides of beets, cole slaw, mashed potatoes and green beans. Biscuits and honey excellent. Pies and desserts excellent. Make sure you bring cash, don’t take credit cards and the place does get loud but food makes it all worthwhile
