We always visit this restaurant when we come in from out of town. We have known the same waiter for over 20 years! His name is Mr. Houng and you need to go see him if you visit! When he see us enter the restaurant he already knows what soup and what drink we are going to order and has it ready by the time we get seated, super cool. The food is super delicious and they always keep the buffet full and stocked. There is a wide variety of food to choose from as well as dessert.

It is good. You eat everything. Everything good. No listen to bad reviews. Listen to me. You ask give me more. They feed you. You eat. You happy. You leave. Bring family. Bring dog. Bring armadillo. Bring 200lb wife. Bring insulin. Fortune cookie invented in San Francisco. Too bad business too boring. Make giant fortune cookie call it. Texas Fortune Cookie.

Ordered delivery and it was delivered when I was told it would be. It was hot and perfectly delicious! Lots of leftovers too because the servings are so big. Thanks y'all!

Always excellent food. I know that they are still overcoming our countries shutdown, but would like to see the place open up more for inside dining and buffet. The order pick up is easy, but the dining in is needing the comeback. Maybe just more support from us eaters with the order pickup and the dining in opened a little more now, will get it back to normal. I still give if five stars because it's food and it's staff, is just that good. Author of "last of the knowers," out now, amazon.

We love the food here! This trip we got 3 entrees; beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour chicken plus 2 small fried rice. The flavors were all on point! We were missing one item but made it all the way home (30 mins) before we opened the bag and called immediately. They were apologetic and they were able to fix the situation! We will always be back. Plus the price is just right and the servings are large enough that those 3 dishes fed all 4 of us for dinner and there were left overs. All around great food and service.

As of February 26 there is no buffet. Only items from the menu were provided. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. I dined in in the afternoon. The server was busy answering phone calls but remained friendly and efficient. The food was properly cooked considering that they didn't charge much. It is a good place if you want some Chinese food.

It's always good! Kind, polite, respectful staff attended our needs, and the food is great. I like the fact I choose what's on my plate, and I'm not getting something I don't (won't) eat. Price for 2 was $25 and it's all you can eat!

You can order off the menu, it’s 100% worth it, the food is really good and fresh & they don’t take long to get your order ready! They also give you a very decent amount of food for the price! I always have left overs for my family! Win win for sure!

Ordered a few dishes. They were all very good, especially the fried rice. This place has the best fried rice I've ever had in my life, which is quite a accomplishment considering I've had fried rice from all over the USA. This place in particular is a great value and delicious. Recommended!

I'm an OTR trucker and I've been eating here 6 or 7 years now. I have never been disappointed, food is kept fresh and plenty of it. Catfish is OUTSTANDING, prices are plenty reasonable. Ample parking if bobtail, (no trailer), if you have trailer you can usually park against curb on street. Good food, good people!!

The building is not impressive. The staff was great and funny. The service was fast. I thought it was high priced until I got back to my hotel and saw the huge portions. The best was still to come. It was some of best Chinese Food I have ever ate. An AWESOME experience.

Not a buffet. Plus part, is your served a piping hot meal in a to go container...sit or pick up. We enjoyed our stop there as we passed thru town. Ty 👍

I'm here Christmas day, and I'm glad I avoided ihop and Denny's. They had lines out the door.

This little place is awesome, staff has been so full of cheer and on point. They cooked special dishes just for today, and they are keeping it fresh aswell.

I normally wouldn't promote, but I urge you to come here if you are in town, and need to eat today.

I would probably give the food a 4 star rating, but the waitress was nice, kept us well taken care of and after I ate a BBQ rib and almost done. I kept wiping my fingers on a napkin cause they were sticky. The waitress brought a small bowl of warm water with a lemon wedge in it. If you don't know the acid in the lemon wddge will c)ean your hands. That is something they do at high end restaurants.....not buffets. The food was good, the decorations were great and the experience was great.

I love China star! I have been going for years and years! Just wish they'd hurry up and open back up! Do you like hot n sour soup? They make the absolute BEST in town! You can order take out!

Smallish but excellent selection of dishes, awesome staff, and great value; 4.5 stars, but the system doesn't have that option, so they deserve the round-up. We stayed at the hotel next door and were recommended here by the staff and another guest returning from dinner. This is not the largest selection I've seen, but virtually everything we tried was excellent. The only ding was some overdone shrimp in a seafood dish. Highlights were the kung pao chicken, the General Tso's chicken, and the green beans. The service was awesome, helpful, attentive, but not obtrusive, and the value for the money was great.

We arrived around dinner time and the food that was put out was very fresh, I was impressed. Everybody enjoyed their food. I would definitely come back and eat here again. Our server was right on top of things.

We absolutely love this place. If they would only reopen everyone would gladly come back to help keep the doors open. Required masks at buffet bar would be fine with everyone. We miss you china star..
