My husband and I visited this place (Roger Williams Inn) last summer. Beautiful place to visit ! The employees were very sweet there and one employee (Kenzie) was super helpful and told us great places to eat and places to go! She was very sweet and made our stay even better! When we come to visit again we will be staying here only because she was so helpful! Not only was she so helpful to my husband and I she was super friendly to others in our group! Give this lady a raise she was awesome !

We visited Green Lake Conference Center for a marriage retreat. What a beautiful place! The grounds are amazing. I enjoyed walking from Kern to Kraft for meals. I pretended there were enough steps to indulge a little extra in the delicious food! The views from the lodging were excellent, too!

Peaceful environment where you can reflect, enjoy nature and for some have conferences. The landscape is kept in amazing condition, facilities very clean, friendly staff. A great place to check out if you are in the area has a lot of history, 75 years there. My favorite is the lake side chairs, rose garden and of course the gift shop. This is definitely one of Green lake's little treasures. Ten out of ten!

We come every year for Family Camp! It's a great learning experience listening to the guest speakers! Plus we get to Camp for the whole week! Alot of things to do! Our favorite is the trails, climbing up to the tower! The park for the kids to play at, the Rec center for the kids to play basketball or just hang out! The beach if we decide not to go out on the water! But if weather permits we then take the boat out and let the kids go tubing and swim! The sandbar there is a great spot for the kids and the adults! Im glad my friend introduced us to this Campground and to Family Camp! It's always a good time! Sitting around a campfire making pudgy pies, hotdogs, or smores and sharing stories is always a favorite! Very relaxing! We got to try out the Frisby Golf course this week too! Thats always a fun time as well! Its always a blast and we enjoy coming every year! My friend has been going for about 18 plus years now! With his family and he introduced us to it, and now we get to come along every year as long as we are able! It's a family tradition that is passed down from generation to generation! Always a good time!

We've held multiple group retreats at Green Lake over the past 4-5 years and absolutely love coming back (our groups range from 30 - 75 people over 2-3 night stays). The staff are always warm, welcoming, servant hearted and super helpful. The grounds are stunningly beautiful with lots of activities to suite everyone. The meeting and sleeping rooms are clean, comfortable and have always been set up per our requests, and conference services has gone above and beyond in helping us problem solve solutions when we've had unforeseen issues come up. The meal times always have a great selection of fresh salads and toppings, fresh fruit and rotating main courses. They work hard to keep the dining area clean and sanitized, and their guests health and safety is a top priority.

Absolutely gorgeous! There is nothing that could possibly be complained about. The grounds were so well maintained. I'm so happy to have had the experience I did there.

We have been using this facility for our conferences for 20+ years now and I still love it! The rooms & furniture needs to be updated, but I don't even care as they keep it clean and it's a beautiful facility! I feel so much peace when I go on my early morning walks while onsite.

What a piece of heaven right on earth. I, along with some friends, attended a women's retreat last weekend, and everything from the comfort of the beds to the food was wonderful. The grounds are absolutely stunning, the facility is clean and well-kept, and just far enough from home to make you feel like your in a different world. Loved every moment of my getaway.

It was wonderful being able to stay in the Stambaugh House. It’s a lovely location and was fun being on the lakeshore so close to the boat rental. The Green Lake Conference Center staff were very helpful and kind, from assisting in making the reservation, all the way throughout our stay. We’re so glad they’re there!

I didn't see this addressed in other reviews; The cell phone service in the area is VERY strong when I go outside, but not so good within the buildings and off the main roads, I have Tmobile but my wife has Verizon and we both had problems receiving signal while inside the buildings. I have a LTE/4G iPhone, my wife used a 5G iPhone 13 Pro. The Bauer Lodge and the Kraft building have pretty-okay(5 to 20mbs internet speed). Kraft had many tables and chairs outside the main lobby that can be used, and Bauer had an open lobby with chairs and couches. So if you are looking to get away from it all, but still need to do work during the day, or your spouse comes for a conference you can stay connected and work remotely. Internet was always fast enough for internet meetings, streaming video, and voice calls. My pleasant visit was from July 10th to July 17th, 2022

E-Power Marketing held a company retreat at a lakefront house. The location was as inspiring as it was peaceful. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed when we cooked our supper. The dining hall offered a scrumptious breakfast when we did not want to cook in the morning. The Conference Center staff was responsive and accommodating. The grounds are intriguing and beautiful with unique architecture and abundant nature. In other words, it could not have been better.

I guess I'm not as classy or refined as some of these other reviewers, but I've gone here about 12 times and been impressed every time. The grounds are beautiful, especially in the Fall, the rooms may not be 5 star, but are clean and provide everything you need, and the food may be buffet style, but is always good with good variety. For the price, you can't beat it. This is a great place to go for a retreat or a simple get away.

As the organizer of a four-day retreat for fifty people I can say Green Lake Conference Center is the best in class. We have held retreats at several retreat centers in the USA and GLCC has been the best experience yet. The prices are reasonable and reconciliation at the end could not have been easier.

We stayed in Bauer Lodge. The accommodations, even in the midst of COVID, clean and comfortable. though the staff will not enter your rooms they will provide clean towels if requested. Because the facility is green, they do not provide hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner, or lotion in the rooms so you will want to bring your own. These can be obtained at the front desk if needed. There are no TV's in the rooms but there is one located in the hospitality room located on each floor.

The food was as good as good as the previous year, though the dessert and ice cream bar was not up to the abundance it was in the past. That is not to say it was not sufficient. On the contrary, it had plenty of variety, just not as much as in the past. I attribute the fact that there was as much as there was to the hospitality of the staff. GLCC has the best quality food of all the retreat centers we have used in the past. Your group will be impressed.

The registration process can be handled by your group, or by GLCC, or a hybrid of the two. The event staff is professional and concerns itself with all of the details needed to make a successful retreat.

The meeting room was set up to our exact specifications. The house sound was was more than adequate. They allowed us to bring our own projector to eliminate the cost of renting one from them.

The grounds are well maintained and include a wide variety of activities from sports to quiet time. There is a lot to explore on their vast acreage.

If you are organizing an event I highly recommend looking into the Green Lake Conference Center.

I always look forward to going to Green Lake Conference Center for conferences. The land is clean, scenic, and beautiful. Even though the food is buffet-style it is delicious and the staff are warm and welcoming.

Our church had our retreat here over Memorial Day weekend. This was our first time at Green Lake Conference Center and we loved it! We had 240 people, mostly families with children of all ages. God blessed us with perfect weather. Everyone had a wonderful time! The grounds are expansive - golf, biking, walks, fishing, a small beach, Judson Tower, the historic Chapel Car, and more! There are lots of open grassy areas which enabled us to set up our own activities.

I cannot say enough about the incredible staff at GLCC. As our church retreat coordinator, I sent an Email inquiry to obtain more information on pricing and available dates. Rebecca, the group scheduling director, responded so promptly. Since the first contact, we have had numerous phone calls, emails, and even 2 site visits. She patiently and efficiently worked with our church for about 2 years, as we coordinated dates and details. As our retreat dates approached, Kris and Randy contacted us to coordinate housing and conference needs. They are so accommodating, detail oriented, and were prompt to answer my many questions. During our retreat, as things came up or if we needed supplies replenished, all the GLCC staff were helpful and kind. It was clear to see that GLCC employees have servant hearts. Towards the end of our weekend, I connected with Gary. He personally sat down with me and asked for feedback and was genuinely interested in our church retreat experience. What personal service! We are so grateful for everyone!

Our guests stayed in Bauer Lodge and Roger Williams Inn. Comments from church members were positive. Suites (with mini sink, frig, microwave) were especially appreciated by families with young children. Each floor on Bauer has a room lounge area with a fireplace with a mini sink, frig, coffee, and hot water. We appreciated the amenities! Meeting spaces in Bauer are modern, clean, and were perfect for our event.

Meals were a highlight! The Kraft Dining Hall is beautiful and spacious. The food was abundant and varied -something for everyone - all you can eat and drink. The dessert bar and all you can eat ice cream were enjoyed by many! Kids and parents appreciated the kid-size buffet section that was lower for kids to serve themselves, with kid friendly food options!

I hear more improvements are coming to GLCC in the months ahead. It will be very exciting to return to enjoy more of Green Lake. Our church is already planning our next retreat at Green Lake Conference Center. Thank you to everyone at GLCC for making our retreat a success and for serving God and others! We appreciate you!

What an incredible experience our group had at Green Lake! The house and grounds were superb, and staff helpful and more than pleasant. We had a spacious place to lay our burdens down and listen for God's voice. 😊

The Green Lake Conference Center has amazingly beautiful grounds with lots of history and activities. The staff is always friendly, and everyone genuinely cares about your experience - there is simply no better place to headquarter the American Baptist Assembly.

We love camping at Green Lake Conference Center. It's always quiet and peaceful. Kids look forward to seeing the lake, boats, train car, and walking to the top of the tower.

We come here every year to camp. We love it here. Great area to ride bikes, places for the kids to play, fishing, hiking through mowed trails, beautiful and quiet.
