Kelly’s BBQ

Had just finished paddling the Choctawhatchee River and was starving. Found this place through a Google search and decided to give it a shot. The young lady working the counter gave some recommendations and was so super sweet. The food came out fast and was amazing, the brisket was out of this world tender melt in your mouth wonderful. Highly recommend!!! ❤

The pulled pork sandwiches we ordered were absolutely delicious. The pork was very tender and the sandwiches were big! Be sure to ask for the homemade hot-hot sauce made with ghost peppers, we took some home.

The best bbq I've ever had. Chicken potato smash is my favorite, and there's ALWAYS enough for 2 meals. Wonderful prices for the quality and quantity of food you get. Service is quick and employees are always friendly and helpful.

The food is great and the service is excellent! The loaded, mashed, baked potato is awesome! Even though you order and pay at the counter, the cashier checked on us a couple of times and brought us what we needed. She was professional and nice!

Delicious, quick bite for lunch or get a full meal and stay. Great atmosphere. Very lively. Smoked meat, Southern style sides, soft bread and sweet tea! Perfect spot for our little town. You'll always see someone you know. By the way, he makes his own sauce. You should make sure Kelly's is part of your week. Come as you are dining. Literally. If you just got off a tractor or if you were behind a desk, come on in. You'll be welcomed and you'll enjoy every mouth full!

Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere, Great People. Hands down some of the best BBQ in the wiregrass area. Please disregard the negative reviews and try it for yourself. Sometimes negative remarks are more about personal issues than the actual food and service. You can see for yourself on their facebook page... their 5 star ratings with positive praises far outweigh the "out of town" unknown negative, fabricated reviews. Go try Kelly's!!! It's well worth the drive. Geneva is lucky to have them as a part of their town.

Had the BBQ pork sammich combo with beans and fries......... excellent. The sammich and beans were some of the best I've ever had. If you like hot and I mean hot BBQ sauce ask them to bring out the hot stuff. The restaurant was clean and the staff pleasent.

06/15/19 Update: Stopped in again and the food was as good as last time and tried the peanut butter cake this time.....yummy!

A favorite place of ours. Great service, friendly staff, great food. We have tried everything on the menu, except the desserts because we are always stuffed, and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend.

Food is great. I’ve tried a variety an can say that the pok, brisket, ribs, burgers and pork belly are a;l delicious. The sides are also very good and the portions are huge. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Excellent place to stop for bbq. The food is always excellent, the staff is always friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the portions you get. Get there early, the place packs out for lunch. I highly recommend getting some bbq sauce to go. The sauce is unbelievable! This is my must stop place in Geneva, Al. Parking can be an issue at times on the streets. They do have inside seating, you have to order at the counter, but they will bring your food to the table. They will also clean your table after your done.

Service came with a smile, food was brought out very timely. I had the pork plate with chicken & rice, coleslaw and beans and my first impression was "I have to come back asap to try some more menu item's!" The food was excellent!

Kelly's BBQ... there's none better! When I am visiting my Sweet Home Alabama, I order 2 butts, chopped to bring back to GA with me. Keep it in the freezer, it's THAT good! I was home last weekend and rode down to Kelly's new location in Geneva to have lunch and pick up the two Boston butts I ordered in advance. Ordered the pulled pork smash & could only finish half. Took the rest home for later. The smash...a great big ole layered and smashed up mound of deliciousness! It was my first, but it won't be my last! Hello, my name is Nancy, and I am an addict. We got there at 5 pm ,, they closed at 6 They were pretty busy. The service was good , friendly and professional. Good portions of food. I had ribs and they were very good. There was 6 of us and everyone said there food was good.

BEST BBQ EVER! The portions can be ate on for days!! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT KELLY’s!! The Chicken Smash is My Favorite but the service and a smile is something out of the ordinary to make your trip more special! You come in as a stranger but you leave as Kelly’s Fam!

Can make a meal out of the Brunswick Stew. Have visited several times and the food is always great, I just wish the portions were a bit smaller because I usually need a nap afterward. Great friendly people too.

Wife had chopped chicken sandwich, I had brisket. Both were fantastic. Baked beans are the way I like them. Ask for okra well done., It was perfect. This place is highly recomender.

Best BBQ I’ve ever had! Wonderful staff and clean restaurant. My family travels over 30 minutes just to eat at Kelly’s..and it is more than worth it!

The food is great. It's definitely the best BBQ place in town. The dining space is small and fills up fast on Friday & Saturday but they offer carry-out as well.

Pulled pork sandwiches were great! Love their classic vinegary sauce! Bought a whole pint to take home.
