Fat Cat Seafood & Tiger Ice

My Dad & I love going to Fat Cat's & eating the whole catfish dinner!! The food is always cooked perfect! We went last night & a yuh young guy waited on us & he was not a very good server!! I was disappointed in his service...we usually tip $10 but we only gave him $5 as he was not very attentive!! I was a server for 33 years & loved my job & made really good $$!! My opinion is he needs to go across the street to McDonald's and work there!! I hope next time we go we can have a better experience!! I go out to eat at a sit down restaurant to be WAITED on and he sucked bottom line!! Food is always outstanding and the place is always clean!! We love Fat Cat's!!🙏💙✌❤😺🦋

Well cooked seafood at reasonable prices with a small town atmosphere. Don't miss the fried catfish. Located right on the highway and just outside Joe Wheeler State Park.

One of our favorite restaurants. No cell phone reception, but that can be a good thing. Less distractions, more quality family time.

Friendly service, good food, excellent prices. Visiting the area, and walked in an hour before closing. Greeted with kind hospitality, food delivered promptly, fresh. Our group enjoyed sandwiches, grilled chicken strips, fries, baked potatoes. It hit the spot. Will be back in the morning for breakfast! Support small business.

Very nice local place, inexpensive but good. Nice Fillet on the sandwich, plenty of better than average onion rings ,nice patty melt.

You need to eat at this place! Great price for catfish and a salad and three sides. Friendly servers and kind. Lovely local crowd of diners. Interesting murals of local places surround the dining rooms. Huge glass of iced tea. I'll be bringing friends with me soon for them to enjoy it, too. Treasure found.

First time visit here in our hometown. We had friends out of town and everyone was very pleased with the food. Will go back many more times

A hidden jewel! We were staying at Joe Wheeler state park and this was recommended to us. It is the quintessential, small southern town restaurant where the locals meet. Four slices of thick cut bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, grits and the best biscuits I’ve ever had (sorry mom, but these were so good). Not a fancy place, simple and friendly with the best food. Go there !!

Yes! There is still a restaurant that serves whole fried catfish! The food was great as was the service. I will be stopping anytime I pass through town.

Best breakfast in a long time. I will be back often. I have been back several times, the only place I eat now when I go out. Breakfast or dinner it's good and plenty to eat and take home for a later snack. Prices and quality of food are just great and friendly folks.

I travel 35 minutes one way just to get to this place and I will do it every time I get a chance. The catfish is cooked to perfection and you can't beat their prices with a stick. I always get the large whole fish plate, but the fillets are awesome as well. This place is my favorite place to go eat fish

We had breakfast 2 days and dinner one evening.
The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and down to earth, and the prices were extremely reasonable. I highly recommend. Don't take the name to heart. They have so much more then seafood.

We love catfish. Who here in the south doesn't? So after searching, for what seemed like years, for a place that had good catfish we finally found Fat Cats. Nothing served is greasy, EVER. Usually when you get whole catfish after you eat the top side and flip it over it's saturated in grease. Not at Fat Cats. We go eat fish there at least once a week and have been for over 15 years. If you love catfish, good catfish go to Fat Cats for the best fish and always great service.

The chicken fingers and fries were great, but the grilled catfish was out of sight! I was afraid the grilled catfish might be sort of bland, but it was outstanding with the spices they used. I had it with baked potato and salad bar. Everything was just excellent. Service was outstanding, too. And the prices are very reasonable. It is sort of a Small Town Country Restaurant. Nothing fancy.

I am from New Orleans. And I say that because New Orleans has the best food in the country. Most definitely has the best seafood in the country. So when I give my comments it’s backed up by many years of eating the best. I stopped at FAT CATS and got fried catfish. In my opinion FAT CATS fried catfish fillets, (I had four pieces) excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent.
