Marissa has been doing my hair for the last year, and I won’t go anywhere else! She is very personable and does an amazing job on my hair every time. She always asks questions to ensure that she does my hair exactly how I like it. Additionally, compared to other salons in the area, the pricing at the salon is extremely reasonable. I would highly reccommend! :)

I find that sometimes certain things aren't well stocked but the employees are extremely helpful, kind, and cheerful.

There is a young lady by the name of Amelia that went above and beyond to help me find a simple thing. I need a pocketbook mirror. She was told by her supervisor there were none. She knew I really wanted one and searched the store. Guess what she found a beautiful one. She was very kind and supportive. I like to appreciate kind people. Amelia is a wonderful young lady and I hope that she gets goes far in her journey. ❤ Thank you

Jasmine is one of the most skilled hair stylists when it comes to curly hair. She makes you feel confident about your curls and provides advice on maintaining them. If you have curly hair goals, I definitely recommend her services!

The make up dept is amazing the people who wait on you take the time to explain every detail of a product. I worked with kayla she was absolutely knowledgeable in her field. Great place , clean, in stock and people are friendly and willing to help you. You don't find that anymore.

My experience today at Ulta while looking at skincare was amazing because of your wonderful employee Nicole. She was an absolute delight and helped wonders with finding skincare items from Clinique that would fit the problems me and my sister are having with our skin. It's obvious to tell that she is very knowledgable in the skincare field, and knows what can treat certain skincare issues. Nicole was also very kind and felt welcoming to be in her presence as you could feel she genuinely cared to help.

Jasmine was been doing my hair at the Salon for several years now and has been AMAZING. Beyond her friendly, enjoyable personality - she does beautiful and modern work. She comes from a high end salon downstate and it SHOWS. I have dirty blonde long hair and have been maintaining a bright blonde for many years (damage city). She’s taught me a lot about achieving the same look in healthier ways, and has brought my straw-texture hair back to life🤣. Im always impressed with her technique and precision. I’ve never had a negative experience working with Jasmine. She takes the time to make each hair session perfect and walks me through what each product/mixture will do, which I really appreciate.. I love Jasmine & the team at the Vestal Ulta! 10/10 for blonde hair care services!!

I was disappointed with my salon experience and Alisa helped me and made me feel validated and supported. The issue was fixed seamlessly as soon as it was brought to their attention. Jasmine is a blessing! When I tell you that my hair was a hot mess, that's being polite. Over the past year or so I have bleached it (by myself, with harsh developer, against all common sense), toned it, put box dye in it to cover up the uneven splotches of color, and somehow missed sections with the dye entirely. So my hair was fried and not evenly colored. Oh, and I have bangs that I honestly forgot about. 😅 And I knocked over her clippers with my purse. So I was basically a nightmare client. Jasmine still figured out how to give me a really cute haircut. She also took time to show me the products she used in my hair and let me feel them in my hands to determine if I would like using them at home. She explained how to get the most out of my haircut in terms of styling, and made sure it was long enough to put up for work. She even made sure to see if the length of my bangs worked well with my glasses and took time to explain what products would help improve the condition of my hair. I'm thrilled.

Edited to also include: Sarah at the brow bar is wonderful! Funny, friendly and skilled. My wax and tint flew by.

I am giving this review for a few specific people who work at the Vestal Ulta who deserve credit where credit is due. If you want your hair done and done well, I highly recommend my friend Zach. He is the best. The prices are expensive, but that is what comes with talent. It is worth it and he always does a phenomenal job to make sure your hair is beautiful, healthy, strong, and whatever color or cut you like. He is super knowledgeable so definitely ask him for recommendations of hair products as well as makeup and skincare (he knows his stuff!!). I also absolutely love Alisa who is super helpful when it comes to makeup, skin care, and all things beauty. I do not know many of the other people who work there anymore, but if you happen to stop in, see if you can get assistance from either of these two amazing people if they are available!! Despite the fact that Zach is my friend, all bias aside... I will literally never go ANYWHERE else for my hair!! :)

You can spend quite a while in this place. Perfumes, cosmetics, skin care products, etc

If you love cosmetics, Ulta is the place. Very well managed. They have variety in brands and very good stuff....Definitely going for Christmas shopping.

I visited Ulta yesterday. Unfortunately, it was fifteen minutes before they closed. However, Karl, was wonderful. He went above and beyond. The young lady behind the counter was just as wonderful. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Such a wonderful experience.

This review is for the salon, and more specifically, Jasmine. She did and amazing job with my haircut today. It's gorgeous and I love it. I will definitely be going to her again. Go see her!

Jasmine is great over at the salon on Vestal Prkwy. Very friendly and does an amazing job. Every time we are in NY we make a special trip to see her ☺
