Petco in Bloomington, IL exceeded my expectations! The store layout was organized, making it easy to find what I needed for my furry friend. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, offering great advice on pet care. Plus, their selection of products was pretty good, ensuring I could find what I needed. Overall, a good experience for some of my pet needs.

Savvy got a bath and all went well. She's so soft. But her anal glands are still a problem for her. Constantly scooting.

She was constantly scratching herself; I thought she had fleas, but no fleas were found. Came in for shopping and bought Hill's Science dog food. No dyes in Hills. Amazing in 24-hours she stopped itching. One problem solved.

Great facility! I really like the options available. My dogs had never been here before and Cherie treated them like the special little ones they are to us!! Thank you and we will see you again

Jessica did such an amazing with my old man. He is usually vocal and nibbles when you touch his paws and doesn’t like baths. He was shiny and calm when i showed up.

Should sync Vetco with the grooming so proof of vaccination would show automatically. Good service!!

The groomer is great if I knew how to spell her name correctly I would. My dog loves her and I’m completely comfortable leaving her there

The staff here is very friendly and patient, and knowledgeable about their products. Their prices are also way better than other places. And they have a recurring order discount, so you can get that as well. This place is great!

I love the staff at Petco. They are always helpful. They also clearly love animals; we got our anole from them for $2. He had been found in a UPS truck and likely wouldn’t have made it if they wouldn’t have taken him in. In the rare event they don’t have crickets in stock and I have to go elsewhere, I’m always reminded how much I prefer this Petco to any other pet store

I needed large crickets and they were out. The gentleman let me know the best day to shop for them and said he'd check the medium size supply. He thought he could get me 30 (I needed 100). He came back a few minutes later saying he was able to get me 100! I was so thankful because I live 30 minutes away and was completely out. Everyone was very friendly and he went above and beyond to try to get me enough crickets.

I moved since my last review so this is the first time I've been in the Peoria store for about two years and they have moved since then. "Maps" still got me there just fine. As for the store, everything I wanted was in stock and the staff was friendly and helpful as always.

My order was ready when I came to pick it up. It turned out the be the wrong size, so I took it back to the store and the cashier that exchanged it for me with the right size was great! She took the time to check the online price to be sure I got the best price available to me. The online price was $6 less than the in-store price and that was a huge thing for me since I am on a fixed income. Love Petco!

We love this location! It's my go to place for all of my fish and turtle needs. Wish it still carried my dogs food, however, I understand that he has very special dietary needs.

Every time I come in I'm greeted by name, That's incredible customer service! Been going to this store for over five years with hardly a complaint.

Love Petco. Corporate has hard time giving any branch Enough employees to make it easier, but that's at any retail establishment now days

First time I've ever been to a pet store and saw tarantulas with a correct enclosure set up. Mad respect 100% great job.

Okay, I know that Petco sells a lot of cages that are too small for the pets, but I have to brag about a staff person who works at the W. Lake Avenue Petco in Peoria. Elizabeth is extremely knowledgable and friendly. She has checked me out several times at the register and I must say that she is great! I've also talked with her about some products in the store--and once, I begged her to let me pet one of their gerbils. Even though I didn't adopt (I have several at home already), she and I talked about gerbil care and she was very professional about handling their gerbils. I just can't say enough about Elizabeth. If you need something and you're not sure, please go to this Petco and ask Elizabeth. You'll get much better information than you will at other local stores and walk away feeling like you bought the right stuff. Thank you, Elizabeth!

I wish every Petco was near a Kroger! I love that I can go pick up dog food and then pick up my groceries. This location also has never been out of stock of anything I was looking for and keeps adding more. The staff has been friendly and helpful every time I’ve visited and even got me signed up for Petco rewards which I’m super excited about! Their pet selection is also pretty vast!
