OSF Illinois Neurological Institute

I have only had positive experiences when visiting the MS clinic on the lower level. Dr. Juvinall and Nurse Tia are extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and professional. I am glad to have such an amazing team so close to home.

Neurology is difficult, especially for my conditions. OSF Illinois Neurological Institute is the best in the area, at least to my knowledge and I've lived here most of my life. It takes time to gather all the tests, and OSF is a very particular organization that does in fact gather their own tests, I am positive for good reasons. They worked around the pandemic very well, and are interested in the aftermath of Covid Infections. Also, OSF itself is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in state outside of Chicago. I not only recommend it online, I tell a lot of people to go here if they have trouble at other facilities.

I have been a patient at INI for over 15 years, and have never been anything but completely satisfied. I know how hard it is these days for a new patient to get an appointment with any doctor, anywhere...and I feel for them. I am just grateful I have been with INI for so long. I use the online portal anytime I have a question or need a refill and always receive a quick response. I will be moving to a different state soon, and am nervous that I will be having the same troubles that I am reading about. I really like my doctor, Dr Juvinall, and will be sad to leave INI when the time comes.

I have been a patient at INI for two years, with Dr. Fassett.
I have read many of the reviews on this site, and I have had never had a negative encounter with Dr. Fassett or with any staff in this practice.
I was treated very kindly from the very beginning, May of 2020.
Yes, I had to wait until my testing records were transferred from another practice, but once they were received, I received a phone call and was able to schedule an appointment fairly soon.
Dr. Fassett worked with me from May 2020 with conservative measures to see if we could avoid doing surgery on my back.
When I decided I was ready to go ahead with the surgery, after failed attempts at the conservative measures, I called the office and was given an appointment with him within a reasonable timeframe.
I then saw Dr. Fassett and had my surgery scheduled within a few weeks.
When Dr. Fassett came into the room for my pre-surgical appointment, both my Husband and I were so impressed that he did not start asking me a lot of questions. He knew my case inside and out, and related to us what we were looking at as far as going ahead with surgery.
This was only my 3rd time to see him in two years, so he did his homework before he came into the room.
He was very kind, professional and timely in scheduling the surgery.
Dr. Fassett performed a left hemilaminectomy on 3/9/2022 and has restored my mobility and relieved me from pain that I have endured for over two years.
My sincere thanks to Dr. Fassett and all the Staff at INI and all the Surgical Staff at OSF Outpatient Surgery.

Nurse Tia and Dr. Juvinall provide excellent care! They are compassionate and competent. Our messages are promptly responded to and appointments are thorough. They go above and beyond!

Dr. Andres L. Maldonado is simply fabulous, not just incredibly intelligent! He truly treats his patients like family, not just family , but family that he loves!!

Dr. H is so wonderful. I had about given up trying to figure out what was wrong with my vision. Not only did she figure it out but helped me get my vision back as much as I could and has closely worked with me for over 2 years now to make sure I don’t relapse. Dr. Lin was a wonderful surgeon that eased my nerves and did a perfect job on my vp shunt.

Just want to thank Dr. Tracy for the excellent care of my husband. He is a kind doctor and has an excellent bedside manner. Thank you for taking a chance on my husband. You will never know how grateful we are to you.

I had a wonderful first visit with Teresa the concussion specialist. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable and gave me so much hope that 2 previous doctors did not. I highly recommend this woman if you have a concussion. I feel so blessed! The rest of the staff especially the tech that took my vitals was also so very nice.

I have suffered from debilitating headaches since I was 6 years old and I'm 50. I have seen a few neurologists in my life. I'm not very easy to deal with as a patient. I have had a lot of experience due to a very rare disease for the age I was. I'm also a health care professional. So far the medicine has completely eliminated my headaches!!!! I have seen Dr. Ergene for many years due to my Intractable Epilepsy. The seizures cannot be controlled by meds nor my VNS. Dr. Ergene and his nursing staff have been great with their care and working to at least allow me to have Quality of Life when not being bothered by seizures.

I came from Iowa for years to see Dr. Ergene, but my insurance changed and would not permit me to travel out of State for care. My new Neurologist that I had to find locally, has now said that a doctor specializing in Epilepsy would be the best for me, so he is going to try to get a Prior Authorization approved for me to return to Dr. Ergene

For me, Dr. Ergene and his nursing staff have been the best medical team I have had, and I hope everything goes through so that I might return.

Dr referred me and I was offered an appointment within two days. Took an appointment for the following week. Staff is kind and considerate. Plenty of parking for free. Easy to find and navigate.

I'm a patient of Christel Kappes. She's the best in the business, highly recommend for anyone that has a loved one with epilepsy...

Awesome place. My doctor helped me so much because she is a neurologist specializing in head trauma & not all neuros know how to treat that!
