Robinson Woods Preserve

Robinson Woods is one of my sanctuaries, and was a crucial space for me during the pandemic. I am blessed to love in a neighborhood that Anita Robinson Woods.

A nice, easy hike.
A short drive from the city. Its nice to get out into nature and feel the rhythm of the forest.

The forest is rich here. Great trails with lots of textures. Never afraid of getting lost. Fun to walk with your dog. Across the street there is a path that takes you to a cove. Eye candy. Smells delicious. Only in Maine!

Beautiful walking/hiking/mountain biking trail. Well-marked and there was lovely wildlife when we went (squirrels, chipmunks, variety of birds). The long path was about a mile and a half, we went at a casual pace and finished in about 45min.

Great trails for easy hiking and birding, but do watch out for ticks in the summer. Just pulled 9 dog ticks off my dog, and 2 off me, after a 40 minute hike.

Currently very slippery due to ice covered trail through beautiful snow covered woods. Only attempt this with good balance and cramp-ons attached to your shoes or boots.

This is a beautiful, well-kept woods with trails of varying difficulties. Great for running or short hikes.

Very well marked trails. A good place to take my dogs for a walk.

Beautiful for recreation during the summer. Out of state parking is a little expensive, so plan to spend a day

Nice little beach and hiking trails to visit

A very enjoyable location for either a walk with the dogs, or a ride on the mountain bike.

Great place for a walk in the woods. So grateful for this land and all it offers to the community.

Nice flat single track with various technicals. Worth a visit if in the area.
