Firecrest Restaurant

Our server Jodi was so sweet and great! My family and I shared the appetizer combo and it was delicious, the poppers were a bit to spicy(and I love spice) but still good flavor! The boneless chicken wings with the sweet chili sauce is what we had and loved them! We order a side of Mac and cheese for the 4 kids to share as an appetizer and there was plenty for us adults to even steal some bites. The Mac and cheese was so creamy and cheesey we ALL LOVED IT!! My husband had a perfectly rare Ribeye with the lobster hollandaise sauce(ate it to fast and couldn't snag a pic🙄) I'm not huge on seafood, but that sauce was really good! I had the Jalapeño bourbon glazed pork chops and that sauce was DELICIOUS! My friend ordered the NY Strip steak with shrimp and she loved it even though she dared to order her steak MEDIUM WELL😖, it still looked juicy and delicious and the shrimp she shared with me was cooked perfect! Great food, nice size portions and friendly staff, we will definitely be back!

Amazing! Walk ins are accepted and encouraged! Such strong flavors for every dish. The experience was excellent, drinks were strong and the food was full of taste. The bruschetta was the most amazing thing I have ever had. My boyfriend and I ordered three dinners to make sure we tried a group of things. We had Goat Cheese Gnocchi & Bacon, Scrimp Scampi, and Chilli & Sausage. The Gnocchi was a bit sweeter than expected but good, the Scrimp Scampi was bursting with flavor, and the Chili was also delicious, the bread was a bit more burnt than I wanted but still extremely tasty. We ordered two soups and a side salad. The dressing was balsamic which I suggest. The soup of the day, which changes every day or so due to demand, was cheeseburger, which definitely hit THE spot, freaking yum. And the dessert, we had tiramisu cheesecake, and apple compote. Both were so good! I suggest the Apple Compote to anyone who likes Apple and the Tiramisu if you like coffee tasting things with rich flavor. The drinks we had were Cranberry Mule, Smoked S'mores Cocktail, and Pineapple Sunrise. Pineapple Sunrise was my favorite, I suggest all of them! I will be back to try more of the menu.
Edit: I have been back several times and the meals keep changed but the flavor is always amazing.

We went for the first time for lunch after hearing great reviews. I had the chicken and waffles which were delicious. The chicken tenders were not greasy and the bacon was cooked perfectly. I did wish there was a bit more syrup on it but next time would just ask for extra.
My friend got the black bean burger and said it was very tasty.

The server was very nice and attentative. I can't wait to try a burger next time, they looked awesome. We will definitely be back.

My brother n law was in town and asked if we had any new restaurants. I told him I read great reviews on Firecrest. After reading the menu he was sold. He and his brother loved your burgers and he won’t stop raving about them. He said the burger was hands down the best burger he has ever eaten. I can’t wait to have one soon!

Went there tonight for the 1st time and it will not be the last. We started out with the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers with plum jam. Spicy, sweet, salty, and cheesy - by far the best poppers I have ever had. Dinner was Goat Cheese Gnocchi & Bacon, Lobster Mac & Cheese, and Bourbon Jalapeno Pork Chops. All of the dishes were amazing with great portion sizes. Will be returning soon to try out the lunch menu.

Second visit to the Firecrest restaurant. Tried the deep fried cheese curds. Very good. Had the meatloaf and the shrimp and lobster ravioli. Both were very tasty. Excellent service with a great atmosphere. Looking forward to going again.

I Order the 16oz Ribeye steak with the lobster hollandaise sauce and it was fantastic ! The steak was very tender and cooked to my liking of rare.The atmosphere was very pleasant and the waitresses were very friendly and attentive had a great time and we will be back again very soon!

Excellent menu! Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection 🥰 The drink menu was impressive with signature cocktails. We are going back to try every single thing on the menu. Best new restaurant in town!

A newly renovated restaurant/bar in downtown Cortland, NY opened this week, called FireCrest Restaurant at 13 Groton Avenue. Featuring booths and tables along with a bar, the obvious nod is to it's large stone fireplace in the main dining area which is great for small and large gatherings.. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful and the food looks amazing as well.

This was my very first time ordering today, I ordered the goat cheese and bacon sauce gnocchi and it was absolutely amazing, like literally the best food I've ever had in cortland and ive had my share of just about everything in town and i cant express how much this place rocks. Will be ordering everytime theyre open!!!!

My husband and I just had an amazing dinner at Firecrest. The food was delicious, the waitress was attentive and fast. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!

I have eaten at Firecrest restaurant 2 times now, food is great and environment is nice and clean. The Halibut dish is amazing.
