Excellent service. This is the best liver and onions I've ever had in my life. I love liver and onions now amd have had a good share and this takes the cake. The green beans the are so crisp and devious with crispy bacon. Crazy good. Service was so good, quick with a smile. Sweet bread choice was peach or raspberry white chocolate. I had white chocolate with raspberries and it is delicious also. What a gem this place is.

Stopped in here on a Friday evening for dinner. Ordered the BBQ fried chicken dinner because I had heard they were known for their chicken. This dish is a half of a chicken with two large side dishes. It was probably the best chicken I had ever eaten. The meat was moist and thick. The BBQ sauce was a little on the sweet side, which is how I like it. There was enough food for two meals but I couldn't stop eating the chicken into it was gone. If you like fried chicken and BBQ sauce, this is an amazing meal.

Fun and great little country kitchen. A wonderful breakfast menu. Quite a few lunch specials. And a nice selection of pies. Was excited to stumble across this place. Average meal seemed to be about $10. But the serving was large, actually shareable. Can't wait to go back and try the fried green tomatoes 😋

I've read reviews complaining about parking, the time it took to get food, how many other people were inside and so on. Typically when we go out for a meal, we are more interested in the quality of the food and not where we park, how many other people are inside, how long it takes to get our food (within reason), or portions, respectively. My wife and I have been patrons for several years and every meal, wait time and service has been very good.

You're always greeted with a smile 😁. Once you sit down they are ready to help whether it's explaining a dish or just take your drink orders. This has become our go-to place when taking the family out for a good dinner. Everything tastes like good ol' home cooking 😋 🔪 🍳. If stopping by you must try the Fried Green Tomatoes 🍅 and make sure you take home one of their Fruit breads / pies for later you won't regret it

This restaurant should be charged with a crime!!!!!! The Rachel sandwich (a beautiful take on the Reuben with slaw instead of kraut) this is a top 3 sandwich in my life. My wife is getting tired of me offering that as an option 7 nights a week and in all reality, this restaurant putting heaven on earth onto a plate is not fair to us mere mortals.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! They have menu options for all types of cravings. It would be fantastic if there was a menu option that I could get half a Rachel and half an order of chicken and biscuits! Take the time out of your day to hit this amazing local spot and find your new atleast once a week spot!

First time visiting today! What a wonderful little diner. Our breakfast was delicious. Fresh bread toasted perfect. French toast made from fresh bread was very good. Even loved the whip butter and syrup was mildly sweet. Thinly sliced potatoes as your hashbrowns. Bacon had a fresh taste and crispy. Ham slice was not Salty like you may get at a restaurant. Tiny cup of fresh jam with toasts, biscuits or English muffins. Eggs tasted farm fresh. Purchased a Coconut Pie and a Peanut Butter pie to go. Coconut pie is so yummy!
Friendly staff. Your wait may be extended during peak times and yes, depending on how busy they are, your food may take some time but you will not regret it. If in the area again, we plan to go back. Would love to try lunch and dinner items.

TOP NOTCH COUNTRY KITCHEN! If you want a nice homemade cooked meal ghat tastes amazing, this is the place. Their fried chicken blows all local fried chicken out of the water! 😀

1st visit. We came from Croswell Opera House in Adrian, on our way home to Toledo. Chicken was Outstanding!! Sweet Breads were delish! We will DEFINITELY return. Many other comfort food items on menu. Green beans had real bacon bits and Onion Rings were tasty. Too full for dessert(homemade pies). Pies looked yummy!!

The food was really good and the portions are very reasonable + not excessive. The French toast and sausage were very tasty. I appreciated that the eggs were cooked exactly as ordered.

We appreciate the polite non-pushy service.

Prices were quite reasonable. This experience will bring us back again.

My husband and I are big fans! This is our third visit only because we don't get to go out to eat much 😂
The Bluegill dinner, if it's in season, is absolutely phenomenal. It's something my husband thinks and talks about a LOT.
Myself, I'm a huge fried chicken fan and they do NOT disappoint. It's so hot, juicy and crispy and just the right amount of salty. The wings are even thick and perfect.
And now let's talk about the fried green tomatoes guys, cause no southern meal is complete without them. Whatever the sauce is that they have for them is KILLER.
And if you get a choice of bread with your meal, the warm white chocolate Raspberry is the bomb.
Don't forget a slice of pie on your way out though. ❤

Our waitress was Kim very a tentative food came up pretty quickly everything was great small homemade dishes fresh made to order this is definitely a place we will be returning

Awesome prima rib and the staff is great

Place isn't much to look at but the fried tomatoes are the best, especially with the sauce they serve it with. And when people are saying their fried chicken is good...its much better than just good. This fried chicken is absolutely fantastic. Not a ton of breading at all and nice juicy crisp skin and juicy meat. I crave their chicken now.. Their breads and pies must be tasted and taken home for everyone to enjoy.
The service is phenomenal, the waitress is very personable and treated us like we had been going there for decades.
It can get crowded and be careful in that parking lot, it's kind of cramped.

Under 20 bucks with a drink and a piece of apple cinnamon crumb cake served with real butter.

We decided to check them out and are glad that we did. We both went with breakfast choices. The chicken fried steak was fresh and not frozen. The portions were huge and we had to take some home. The blueberry zucchini bread was great and we can't wait to try another one of the sweet breads.

Very tasty home cooked style meals. Will be going there again.
