Such a cool experience getting to visit the wildlife center. You get to get up close to animal mounts from all over the world that you probably wouldn’t get to see anywhere else. Alex was an awesome tour guide that super educational and knowledgeable! I actually learned a lot on the tour that I didn’t really expect to. Couldn’t ask for a cooler place!

Absolutely amazing experience for a true die-hard avid hunter and wife who likes to tag along for the experience. It's definitely a 5 star all the way around from the booking in the beginning to the very end when the hunt is over, and even after. The staff treat you like family (in the best way ever) and are there to help you with everything possibly. The food is amazing, the staff is wonderful, and the memories are priceless. Highly recommend this place!!

I do not have the words for the Wildlife Center at Legends Ranch. I did not realize that there was a place on Earth quite like this place. I was totally overwhelmed like a kid at Christmas. The folks at Legends Ranch are a top notch crew and so hospitable. The staff at Legends Ranch make you feel like family while visiting the Wildlife Center. Not only do they want to make you feel comfortable and welcome but they are so very knowledgable about all of the animals on display. They can give you a story about each and every mount in the building which I think is incredible. I could not think of a better place to take a hunting enthusiast or a wildlife enthusiat. Again, I was blown away and so very thankful for the opportunity to visit the Legends Ranch Wildlife Center.

My son and I had an amazing experience for his first time shoot. Our guide, Tyler was wonderful and taught my son so much. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves hunting and the outdoors!

My son Dylan and I have spent the last 3 years hunting whitetails at Legends Ranch. Ever since arriving for our first hunt in late September of 2020, we have felt like a part of the Legends family. Ridge Bollheimer has been our guide every year and has done a stellar job helping us achieve our whitetail deer hunting goals, as well as, helping us create new friendships and great memories of our times spent at Legends. The rest of the guides are awesome as well…friendly and supportive of all of the hunters and each other. Robert Sergi is the ultimate host, making each and every guest feel welcome and comfortable during their stay. Our first year there Arthur Gutierrez, Roberts grandfather and well known, accomplished hunter, was visiting the ranch and took us on a tour of the Wildlife Center. Amazing to say the least, the Wildlife Center is one of the most remarkable wildlife displays ever assembled. The rest of the Legends staff including Andi, Pam, August, Chef Jason, etc. are all amazing and make the stay at Legends an incredibly special experience. The breeding and taxidermy facilities are next level. The lodge itself is equally impressive, comfortable and well appointed. If you are looking for a great place to spend 5 days hunting some of the best trophy whitetail deer in North America from a nice lodge, eating great food and experiencing incredible customer service then make your reservation for a spectacular hunting experience at Legends Ranch!

Went here for my buddies bachelor party and I would encourage anyone thinking about going to give it a try. The staff are amazing, the food is second to none, and the atmosphere is truly one of a kind!

Robert Sergi and his knowledgeable staff made this the trip of a lifetime! From the moment we arrived, we felt like family. We were paired with Ridge, an awesome guide, that Craig immediately embarrassed! If you have the chance - take it! Go to Legends Ranch and experience an outdoor adventure like none other!

I went to the wildlife center at Legends ranch for their wild game dinner last night, and it was absolutely wonderful. This place is amazing with over 3100 mounts to view and learn about, with my favorites being all the whitetail mounts, very cool! Although we did not go on the outside tour and hang by the fire afterwards because of the weather getting bad the food was worth the trip. A wide variety of appetizers made with wildebeest, venison, and buffalo were served on a walking tour through the wildlife center. The main entrees served consisted of gator, venison, elk, and bison all prepared by chef Jason Jones. And last but not least a wide variety of deserts. This is a great place to take a school field trip to, where kids can learn about wildlife conservation and hunting. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful evening!

We had a family reunion and 90th birthday party at Legends Ranch. We loved everything! The staff, food and accomodations were exceptional! We felt like we had the "run" of the lodge while also feeling pampered and cared for! The chef was very helpful and professional and the food was delicious. We loved using the kayaks, playing outdoor games and just sitting around watching the swans, deer and bald eagle during our weekend stay. Thank you Pam, August, and Chef Jason for making our stay so memorable!

Legends Ranch has been an phenomenal experience. I was hosted with a small group of close friends by Legends Ranch and a non profit organization. They made us feel so at home and welcomed in their super cozy lodge. Every need was met, their hospitality went above and beyond anywhere I’ve stayed. The food was incredible, the staff was AMAZING, the lodge itself was pristine, and the scenery is gorgeous. I would recommend this place to anyone and will come back any chance I get!

i have hunted in several different places but i must say this was a totally different experience than i could have ever imagined. this was my most memorable hunt to date and the entire 5 days i was there is something i will cherish forever. the friendliness of the staff to the amazing food, clean well appointed rooms, and beautiful grounds make this place stand out. the staff makes it there business to know your name and make you feel like you have known them for years. there is not one aspect of this place i would not give five stars to. the deer on the property are absolutely amazing... true trophies. they have running this ranch down to a science and everything runs flawlessly. from timing the hunts to the meals etc its a hunters paradise. they far exceeded any expectations i ever had. i would return here in a heartbeat and plan to return next year and as many years after that i can. it was truly an unforgettable experience. thank you to the Legends Ranch Staff for making my trip here so amazing and i can't wait to return!

We stayed at Legends Ranch for a Wellness retreat for our Non Profit Special Ops Survivors. We can't thank Robert and his staff enough for their kindness and generosity. This truly was a place that gave our survivors a once in a lifetime experience. The smiles on their faces and the sound of their laughter as they thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed the surroundings was amazing. We will be back here again next summer to enjoy the wildlife and the Pampering from Pam, Heather, Beth and Laurie. On a side note Chef Lawrence totally rocks.

I have been hunting at Legends Ranch for the past eight years and have a house full of trophies and good memories.

Legends Ranch provides top notch customer service and accommodations with a very attentive staff focused on providing all your needs, delicious meals and a world class spacious lodge. It is our home away from home.

Under new management, Legends Ranch has improved on their sterling reputation elevating the standards of service to higher levels. The management and guides are wonderful and highly informed always placing safety first. When we arrived at Legends Ranch the guides immediately took us to the range and made sure our guns were sighted in correctly and answered any questions we had about the upcoming hunt. As we arrived at our blinds they ensured our weapons were properly handled and loaded. Management put a lot of time and commitment into making sure we had a great experience and the best opportunity to harvest the trophy deer we said we wanted.

While I enjoyed the trip as an experienced hunter, the staff makes brand new hunters feel safe and welcomed. My nephew, who was a first time hunter, was counseled and trained on proper gun safety and how to conduct a proper hunt. This hands on training and instruction was instrumental in ensuring his love for the sport.

Finally, my wife, who is not a hunter, was made to also feel welcomed and pampered by the Legends Ranch management and staff, which included a massage therapist.

Legends Ranch provided us a great hunting experience. We encourage others to chase your hunting dreams here.

I stayed here from July 18 to July 22, 2018 for a health and wellness week for Special Ops Survivors. It was one of the best if not THE BEST trip I have ever been on. I’m not even normally an “outdoorsy” type person but this trip has been fantastic & the staff has went above and beyond any expectation that I may have had. Anything that you could possibly need or want, Pam and/or Heather tended to. The food at the lodge was out of this world amazing every nite consistently, thanks to Chef Lawrence, Laurie & Beth. I cannot say enough good things about this place! I already cannot wait to come back!! Thank you Legends Lodge for a truly outstanding trip that I will never forget!!!

I can’t say enough positives about this place! Every thing was perfect! Warm welcoming at arrival, delicious food, very comfortable rooms and beds, staff is AMAZING! We visited for six days on family vacation. From the youngest (3 yo.) to the oldest (?😊),everyone had the best time! Fishing, feeding baby deer, swimming, kayaking, pontoon boating, exploring trails, bonfires, games, water balloon fights, and so much more! There is a giant nature center that will leave you speechless. Best vacation ever!

I spent 5 days here with Special Operations Survivors and to say it was life changing would be an understandment. I went hunting, fishing, kayaking and shooting. The meals were out of this world!! I can’t compliment the staff enough. They made me feel so loved and at home. I absolutely did not want to leave! I can’t wait to visit legends ranch again!!

It has been a week since Donald and I shared an unbelievable experience at the Legends Ranch, Michigan. Don and eight other Purple Heart recipients (3 from Vietnam and 6 from Iraq and Afghanistan) were invited to participate in the Purple Heart Deer Hunt at Legends Ranch.

I must admit that I was humbled in the presence of these warriors, all still carry the effects of their wounds on a daily basis, chronic pain and in some cases devastating wounds.

It was an honor to spend a week with them and the staff from Legends who aided them in their hunts. Want to thank Rob, Wess, Randy, Ted, Kevin, Blake, Pam, and others for your great service. also, Donald got his buck, 16 points and 242 pounds.

As we approach the 20th Anniversary of 9/11, a special thanks to all our warriors and a very special thanks to our own warrior for his 20 years of military service and numerous sacrifices.

I had the honor and privilege to hunt the Legends Ranch a few weeks ago. I found it particularly important to write this review due to the incredible experience that I had while hunting. I was able to be part of the Legends Ranch Purple Heart Hunt; a hunt that is dedicated to service men and women who were injured in combat. A week prior to our arrival, Legends Ranch also hosted a hunt for children suffering from illnesses and other medical complications. Neither of the two hunts cost the hunter any out-of-pocket expense.

We were picked up at the Grand Rapids Airport in a camo limo bus. This was the start of the incredible four-day hunting event that I will never forget! Paul Smutz, the ranch manager, personally picked us up. Paul is truly an incredible individual, and quite possibly one of the most humble people I have ever met.

After arriving to the ranch, the staff were waiting outside and personally greeted each one of us. We were not allowed to touch our bags. The staff wishes to provide a work-free environment for its guests. The staff took all of our bags and equipment to our rooms and staging areas. They took drink requests, started to place out snacks for us, and gave us the grand tour of the beautiful lodge we resided in for the next four days. The view from the dining area is incredible. A beautiful lake is just a stone's throw away, and there are numerous species of fish to catch.

The meals by Chef Lawrence, the full-time on-site chef, were beyond words. Everything was fresh, prepared to perfect temperatures, and served by loving, kind kitchen staff. If someone went hungry, it was his or her own fault.

My first morning in the stand, I saw numerous trophy whitetails. However, I was targeting a 140-150 inch buck. The first evening, after watching twenty-eight different bucks, I harvested my beautiful eleven point. He scored 157.25 inches of horn. The next day, I harvested three does in less than thirty minutes! It was an incredible sight to see. I have never witnessed any whitetail hunt this incredible in my life, and I have hunted for eighteen years.

I want to illustrate the kindness and dedication each staff member has that works at Legends. They truly create a family atmosphere that is genuine and indescribable in this writing. I also was able to meet and tour Legends' Research Facility where they focus on managing a healthy, prosperous herd of monster whitetails.

God is truly present in the hearts of all of those who work at Legends Ranch. Each worker's individual testimony of faith need not be talked about because they demonstrate it every day in their words, actions, and hard work. You will not meet a more professional deer hunting venue than Legends Ranch in Bitely, Michigan. I am honored to have the opportunity to hunt with such fine people.
