Fox Hill RV Resort & Campground

We enjoyed our first year camping at Fox Hill. There are plenty of activities for the entire family, and is perfect for all ages. The Fox Den is a nice touch to the campground as it offers food, drinks and other amenities for the family. Also, the location is perfect as it’s less than ten minutes from the Dells, Mirror Lake, Ishnala Supper Club, and less than 20 minutes from Devil’s Lake.

We liked the campground so much that we got a seasonal site for 2024. We’re looking forward to spending next season at Fox Hill.

Just finished our first year as a seasonal. This campground has everything. Never heard my kids say they were bored. The owners put so much into the campground and are so involved. The staff is great. We all made great friends and absolutely love our second home. We couldn't imagine spending our summer weekends anywhere else.

We love camping at Fox Hills. The owners and staff are very friendly. The campsites are nice with full hookup. Lots of amenities. Our daughter really likes the activities they offer for children on the weekends.

We frequent Fox Hill and it is always a good time. The campground is well run, facilities are updated and kept clean, and there are plenty of things to do for the whole family. The new Fox Den area is a great addition. Our kids especially enjoy the weekend activities.

We had a great time at Fox Hill! This is definitely a place to go if you want to bring family, especially young children. There is a playground in the center of the campground, making it a great place to have fun with your young ones. The front office has a lot of things to purchase, like snacks, personal hygiene products, and merchandise. The bathrooms are well kept and organized.

What a great find. We were looking for campgrounds in the dells area and took me 2 days to finally stumble upon Fox Hill RV Resort. I had talked to the owner Aaron for 45 mins and he sold me on coming there and I am glad we did. I picked my site and it worked out perfectly. Sites have plenty of room and are full hookups with 30 and 50 amp service. We loved the bar and the food as well the lake right out back behind the bar. there is plenty of things at the campground for the kids to do such as dog pond, fishing pond, as well as a playground and pool. They play movies on friday nights for the kids which is awesome. They also have a fully stocked store as well. Im a mobile RV tech and Aaron was sending me clients that needed help over the course of the week that we were there. We cannot wait to come back for their Halloween weekend next yr. We loved the cabin we stayed in. The pond and pool definitely awesome. Everyone one was pretty friendly. We did think that the tall guy with dark brown hair and beard working the fox den could have been friendly but maybe it was a bad day! The only thing I recommend is lowering slushy prices we paid over $22 for 2 slushys no alcohol in them. We had already purchased one refill cup so one was a refill and we purchased another refill cup with slushy and it was $22 seems a bit pricey. But we should have ask before we bought them or I may suggest listing prices on the menu. Over all our stay was awesome and definitely a great location.

My family has rented a cabin here for the past 2 summers and loved both our trips. Between the swimming and other amenities we always have more than enough to keep us busy and entertained.

The number of improvements made over the last year show the dedication to making an already great place even better.

On the drive home the kids were already talking about what they wanted to do when we go to Fox Hill next year.

Ladies weekend RV camping, found this camp ground online since Devils Lake was full. BEST find ever, they have options for all ages, plenty of activities for everyone. Very clean , super friendly. They filled our floating rafts ! We are going back next year , maybe sooner .

Had a wonderful time at Fox Hill RV has so much to offer for everyone. The trick or treat was a blast! Aaron helped us get someone over to help is with a slide problem. Fox Hills is a very nice place to stay. Everyone we spoke with there was friendly. It was our first time there and we were happily surprised by all the amenities they have. The bathhouses were very clean. They also seem to be doing a lot of work on the property to continue to improve. We will be back again soon!!!

This is our third year of enjoying Fox Hill RV resort & Campground. Love it here, our deluxe cabin was perfectly comfortable for 3 adults and 3 children. The cabin was very clean along with the campground, so much for the kids to do ! They especially loved the swim pond and park . My youngest
grandson cried when we had to go home. Everyone that works there are so friendly and welcoming. Our trip to this wonderful campground is always a great time !!!

We stayed in the newly opened I section, the private site with W/E hookup. It was also our first time camping in years, we figured Memorial weekend would be a great start. We were pleasantly surprised how BEAUTIFUL the private areas are. We enjoyed a lovely view each night with the ability to see the stars. No light pollution at all! We did have neighbors, once the area gets more mature there should be more privacy over time. You can hear them but they were respectful to the quiet time. The bathrooms and showers were not built yet for that section. There was a clean porta-potty stocked with toilet paper and sanitizer (not one of those nasty ones, it was really clean). It did the job!

We brought our 2 year old pup, she had the best first camping trip of her life! The dog pond and multiple trails was our favorite activities. Not many dogs were at the dog park when we brought her, which is okay. They deliver ice and firewood for free. The office store has surprisingly reasonable prices for all the last minute items or snacks you need. The staff were very polite and friendly. Park was super tidy no matter where you went. We don’t have children but the kids appeared to enjoy all of the amenities this campground offers.

We were very disappointed about the fishing pond not being ready, it was advertised online and on their phamplets 😢 Our neighbors were disappointed as well. One of the reasons we wanted to stay. I understand delays happen, just maybe pin a post on your fb or website saying it’s still under construction so it doesn’t appear to be false advertising. I understand this is ran by a family so I wouldn’t leave a less review due to the delays of items. Corporate places of course have more power over things like that. Just communicate it publicly please!! :) One note of improvement, which might already be in the works is signs in the new section. The map helped but we got a little lost a couple of times.

Overall, I highly recommended this place. If you want a fun place to bring your pup, I definitely recommended. The owners are tying up a few loose ends of their well done expansions. Everyone at the campground was respectful and followed the rules. Property and facilities are very well maintained. The value for your money is worthwhile! We look forward to being your regulars every summer!

Had an amazing time when we stayed here! Grandson loved having the park right outside our cabin. Our cabin was very nice, clean and comfortable and the staff was great! Highly recommend! They have a lot of unique fun things happening all summer long for the family and i know we would love to make this a tradition with ours! Thank you Fox Hill for a very memorable vacation!

Our family loves fox hills! We found this campground early in the season last year and have been back numerous times. The pool and pond are great. We also love the Halloween activities. They really seem to care about their property and their guests. They’ve made many improvements and I’ve heard they’re still planning more. Our kids always have a great time here. We’ve stayed in pretty much every section, and they all have their advantages. But we like staying by the park so our kids can play while we relax and watch.

This is our first year camping with a travel trailer. Fox Hill was our 8th trip, and by far the best campground we have been to this season.

My husband approached the owner down by the swimming pond and asked about firewood. Not only was he friendly, but he delivered the wood to our site while we continued to enjoy the facilities.

Our kids loved tie dying shirts, spending hours on the inflatables, riding the Tow Mater Express (even our very tall 13 year old who went on it for his sister, lol), meeting new friends on the Gaga court, pedal carts, getting their faces painted, and the nature trails.

We really appreciated having a golf cart free campground to enjoy as well. It provided a safer and more relaxed vacation vibe. The grounds were also immaculate. And the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. You can also charge everything to your site, resort style.

I wish we weren't almost 5 hours away, because this would be a place we frequent often.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! We had so much fun, even on a rainy weekend. The kids went swimming, loved the pond and the inflatables! Everyone was so nice, and this place is spotless! I have been to many campgrounds and have never been so impressed to leave an “amazing” review. The foam party was cancelled due to rain, but I just asked and they did it for us cuz the kids were planning for it. Turned out over half the campground kids came down and enjoyed the fun. Such a neat experience! I will be back, even considering seasonal for this place!!

I just spent Labor Day weekend here. Our group had 4 adults and 4 kids (6, 7, 8, 10). We had a fantastic time at Fox Hill and highly recommend it. The amenities were great. The kids loved the playground, pool, and pond. The bathrooms were kept very clean considering how busy it was. The kids also enjoyed the nightly entertainment. Especially the DJ dance party on Saturday. It was my first time at Fox Hill but it certainly won't be my last.
