The Falls Motel

Owners Mike and Brenda treated us like friends. Fun conversations, interesting information about local restaurants, boat trips, falls, and the upcoming festival. They were quick to provide us with an extra pillow and the morning treats and coffee were perfect! Our room was very clean and we got fresh towels everyday. The small room refrigerator helped us keep snacks from Tops (across the street and north) fresh. This is a quaint and affordable motel that sits high on a hill and within walking distance of downtown Montour Falls and a short drive to Watkins Glen. Thank you, Mike and Brenda! You rocked it!

Its a nice no frills place. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The manager is very friendly and a great guy. He suggested lot of activities which we could do and directed us to some very good restaurants.
It is in a great location, close to Seneca lake , Watkins glenn trail and the wine trail.
We had a very comfortable stay. The rooms also get cleaned every day, which was a nice surprise.

The Falls has been my home away from home since I started racing at Watkins Glen I'm 2003. Clean and convenient with Mike there always willing to have a chat. Love it here.

Great place. Clean, room serviced every day. Better than many places I have been. Room HVAC worked in both cooling .. it was hot the first day.. and heating the weekend had cool nights. Many of our group sat outside and talked. Rooms have both an inside and outside chair for just that reason. It is down the hill from the race track, so a great location.

This was a random "dart thrown on a map" kind of choice. We had no real plans, just decided to get away for the weekend since our original plans fell through, and we could not have been happier!!

This is a no-frills kind of place, but it's scrupulously clean with a good "vibe". The owners are very sweet and extremely attentive. They know this area well and had a ton of ideas for things for us to do. The motel is legit within walking distance from the Chequaga Falls & the village of Montour Falls, and all the history this cute little place has!

We did stay in the suite that had a HUGE bathroom with a 2-person jetted bathtub & a separate shower. It was so clean! The suite had a kitchenette with enough essential utensils, a mini fridge, and microwave. There were 2 really nice leather swivel rocker-recliners in the area in front of the king bed, facing the TV & the gas fireplace!!

Then there's the bed. It is fabulous!! I haven't slept that well in quite some time!! (It's a Tempur Pedic! 12/10 highly recommend!)

We have not stayed in any of their "regular" rooms (yet) so I can't speak to those, but I can only imagine the attention to detail is still there.

The pride of ownership definitely shows. The family obviously takes their property seriously.

We would definitely stay here again, and have actually already talked about it :)

Such a great motel. My girlfriends and I were rained out of camping and The Falls Motel was able to accommodate us as soon as we called. The owner was a very nice man, he even showed us his garden and let us try his hot peppers. It was such a small gesture but really made the experience. The room was clean and had a mini fridge and a TV.

The bed was very comfy to sleep in, and I loved the service! The room was also very clean and quiet.

This place is a hidden gem. The owners are lovely people and the room was very clean and comfortable. There have obviously been some recent updates to the property and it looks very nice. The motel is also only a short walk to the falls. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Reasonably priced and good sized room. Right across the street from Tops which makes getting food or snacks a breeze. Room has a mini fridge which was useful. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. We stayed here on a weekend while in the area for the race track. Track is only a few minutes away up the hill.

The owners exceeded my expectations accommodating my late arrival, and early checkout was super easy - with coffee! Super convenient location to the track. The room was way nicer than I anticipated - especially after staying at that other place (you know where).

If you're looking for a clean room, a great location, and very personable customer service at a fair price this is the place. If you're looking for chocolate on your pillow you will be disappointed! Mike at the front desk is wonderful!

Just a short walk to Shequaga Falls. Very clean and spacious. Reasonably priced. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Gave us coupons for complimentary wine tasting at one of the local wineries. I would go back again. Highly recommend!

Very well kept and clean. The owners are very nice and appreciative of your business. Bathrooms are very clean and look to be recently updated. Beds were very comfortable and clean. They were memory foam. I will be staying here every time I come to this area. Really cool large waterfall right down the street you can walk or drive to also.

The Falls Motel is a great place to stay when you are visiting Watkins Glen and the Finger Lakes region of New York. The motel is very close to Watkins Glen International racetrack and it is close to everything else in the area. Owner Mike and his family run a great motel which is clean, quiet and comfortable. I highly recommend the Falls Motel.

We were not able to stay in our original hotel because Booking.com overbooked. The owner of The Falls Motel was very accommodating and pleasant. The room was very clean and although we only stayed for a night we would've stayed another if we could've! Thanks 😁

Clean and comforting. The gentleman at the front desk and his family made it a warm and welcoming place. Very soothing and restful. I look forward to visiting again.
