Fortunately, no seemed to be upset by the fact that I had my puppy with at this very interesting park/historic site. Prior to our I had no idea they have a no pets allowed policy. However, when I noticed we weren't the party with furbabies, I had to wonder how serious they are about the rule.

Really nice park. Very spacious. Right on the water. Great place to picnic; tables as well as covered shelters available. Public restrooms spread through the park. Nice flower garden as well as historic buildings to view.

We came at the wrong time of year, much of the area was flooded, but still managed to get to most places and have a good time. A beautiful area with a lot of things to see and do. Museums, a disc golf course, restaurant, sculpture park, baseball diamond, and great views. Was well worth the trip.

The sculpture park was interesting. Saw six statues, with interesting history attached. Different people in different walks of life, each with an interesting story that added to our history.

Very cool and historical site to visit. Long history stretching from its early days as a fur trading settlement, a US fort in the War of 1812, a railroad terminal and hotel and the Villa Louis mansion. Worth a visit.

Hot but fun. Very informative. I am literally ashamed by how little I knew about the War of 1812!

Went for a 20 minute walk after grocery shopping. Pleasant area to walk and observed the gardens and walked by the Villa Louis and statue park. It was a pleasant fall day.

We took a quick trip to St. Feriole Island Park over Labor Day Weekend. Beautiful park that allowed us to stretch our legs, find some geocaches, and get a small taste of Wisconsin. We really enjoyed the memory garden and the wide variety of trees. It’s a must visit if you are in the area. We will certainly be back.

Beautiful and historic park on the mighty Mississippi River. The Villa Louis tour is definitely worth and go. Check out the summer event calendar for more fun events throughout the summer!

Great place to go as an individual or as a whole family. Playground for the kids, benches and picnic tables all around if you want to rest or just enjoy the day and the views. I especially enjoy the duck ponds they have there. You can bike, walk, sit, swim, celebrate events, go to events, fish and more here. Highly recommend from this country woman.

One of my favorite places on earth. LOVE the disc golf course and the live music in summer.
